I recently got my hair done here and I hate it. Short story: I paid $167.79 for blonde and received orange and brown. I look like a botched box dye at best.
Long story: I came in...
with medium-light brown hair and wanted to go full blonde. I was told they can only lift 4 shades in one sitting which nicely enough was exactly the level of blonde I wanted to go.
Then the stylist suggested a balayage style so I would not have the annoying color block look when my roots grew in and I wouldn't have to come back so soon. Unfortunately, that convinced me to do it.
So, 2 hours later she is putting in different levels of dye so the dye that she started first would match the most recent dye she was applying. She is also not applying really at the roots (balayage style)
Then we get to rinsing and she says my hair will naturally want to become brassy so she is going to put in more toner to cool it off and she sold me purple shampoo to cool it off when I got home if it became brassy (I should have known as soon as she said that that my hair was not right).
Then we get to blow drying and as soon as my hair came out of the towel I knew. It was dark, too dark for the blonde I wanted. I said something and she (a blonde) said even her hair looks like that out of the shower.
Once dry, my hair is a million different shades of blonde and orange. My roots are brown and it looks as if I've had this hair for 3 weeks instead of just done.
Even after this I still had hope the purple shampoo I bought and the perspective of a new day could save me. I waited 24 hours to wash my hair as instructed and then immediately dumped that purple shampoo on my head in hopes of getting this orange to cancel out. No avail.
My hair is terrible and as a business professional, I'm thoroughly embarrassed to go to my conference this week.
I look like a botched box dye. I would never recommend this place as the stylist are not colorist. I can not speak for hair cuts but as far as color DO NOT DO IT.
Carmen did such an amazing job on my hair! We had a trial run about a month ahead of time and my job was to make sure that the hair didn't fall down and that the bobby pins didn't...
hurt my head. Mission accomplished. It was a little humid since it rained the morning of the wedding and my hair stayed perfectly! My bridesmaids also had their hair done and PERFECT!
Cameron did an amazing job on my hair (braided up-do) - both for the bridal photos and for the wedding day. She is so sweet. The hair held up for the whole day!
Dersy from Republic Salon is not only super sweet but also, exceptionally talented. I had a very "themed" wedding..."southern, vintage" I liked to call it and she carried that out...
PERFECTLY with my hair! And she came out to my ceremony sight and everything! Please check her out!!!
