myself. But, four months into planning while working full time as an attorney, I finally admitted that I needed help. A good friend connected me to Melissa & Rescue, and it was like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. Melissa was a pleasure to work with: she got my vision; helped me achieve even my most ambitious goals without overstepping; was a kind reality check for things that would have hurt, not helped me (and, she was right); helped me stay organized and on schedule with all the materials, vendors, and contracts, (I thought I was organized--she's got it down pat); helped me find vendors; and met with me--in person--every month. The best part of all was the last month leading into my wedding and through the day of. I was exhausted and stressed, and she just stepped in and took over. She came to my house, picked up everything needed for the ceremony and reception, including several unfinished DIY projects, and she and her team just finished them--perfectly. Melissa and her team were flawless in executing the schedule for the wedding weekend, starting with the rehearsal. I didn't have to worry about finding people, organizing people, giving directions...Melissa & her team at Rescue took care of everything--while being super professional and friendly with family (some of whom were difficult), friends, and vendors alike. All this for an INCREDIBLY REASONABLE PRICE. I am so glad to have had Melissa as our wedding coordinator, and I greatly recommend her to any bride needing a rescue. I also found out that Rescue does event planning generally, so while I won't need another wedding planner, I will definitely look to Rescue the next time I need to plan a big event.
