my suggestions and made me feel so comfortable making any changes that I wanted. I have been to makeup/hair artists that tend to take an "i'm the professional and know what's best approach" and Monique was the complete opposite. She let me be vocal about what I wanted and checked in frequently throughout the morning to make sure I was happy with how everything was coming out. My hair stayed in place all night and even with the dancing and sweating on the dance floor, my makeup did not move. I felt just as beautiful at the end of the night as I did in the morning. I can not thank Monique enough for making me feel like a princess on my wedding day and being so fun, personable and communicative along the way! , deliver a perfect product, while simultaneously balancing your your emotional rollercoaster and talking you down from the ledge! Monique was all of this for me and more!! She is an AMAZINGLY gifted hair and makeup artists, as well as the KINDEST professional I have ever sat down in a chair with. She dealt with my anxious energy the day of, and smiled and calmed me down the whole way through! My hair and makeup did not move the entire night!! My hair actually didn’t move until the next day, because I was too tired to fiddle with the clip ins after the reception. The wonderful women she brought with her to work with my party we’re extremely talented and extremely professional in themselves.
Looking back, I would not change one thing about my hair or makeup, or the entire experience with Monique, the owner of Resilient Beauty. I will love her forever for making me look like I had always envisioned on my wedding day! Thank you Monique, and Resilient Beauty!!

Monique from Resilient Beauty did my makeup for my November 27th Wedding. When I first met her, we were doing a trial and I said “I want to look like a glammed up version of myself...
” and she knew EXACTLY what I meant and nailed it. Fast forward 11 months to my wedding and she delivered yet again. Both myself and my bridesmaids makeup came out flawless. Everyone loved how natural but beautiful they looked. Second most important was that my makeup remained perfect through the many tears I cried that day, and it did! I cried (happy tears) multiple times throughout the day and you absolutely wouldn’t know it.
Leading up to the wedding Monique was responsive to many many questions and was SO organized when it came to plan a timeline. She kept close communication with my hair dresser to ensure that the morning would flow smoothly. The morning was perfectly timed, not rushed, and I even had time to relax before it was time to leave. Monique is friendly, sweet, and has a great energy- qualities that you definitely would want out of someone you’re spending time with during your wedding day with! I highly recommend Monique and Resilient Beauty!

Our hair and makeup stayed perfectly all night (my hair never hold a curl and it not only stayed all night but it even looked great the next day!!) t only did I look amazing but everybody in my bridal party and there were 14 of us plus two little girls.
Her team was incredible, and everyone felt so seen and heard. I have been in dozens of weddings and my hair always ends up looking meh. All of my bridesmaids kept coming up to me telling me how beautiful they felt and that just felt SO good as a bride.
The part that still makes me really emotional is that Monique wasn't confident in my friend taking off my veil so she decided to stay until after the ceremony to take it off herself and fix my hair. I felt like I had been given an angel.
I don't even really think I need to speak as the photos do it justice. If you can work with Monique it will be the best decision you ever make for your wedding.

Monique has a GIFT. she is so gentle but that shit stayed in my hair until 3am when I manually took out the extensions. I have very curly hair and I hate when the front pieces start curly because of sweat. Never happened… i don’t know what Monique did but my day would not have been the same without her.
