She did an absolutely amazing job on my makeup for my wedding day — I felt beautiful, confident, and completely like myself, which was exactly what I wanted.
What made the experience even more special was how amazing she and her entire team were with everyone in my bridal party. They were incredibly polite, patient, and kind to my mom and all of my bridesmaids, and they made everyone feel so comfortable and taken care of. That meant so much to me because having my family and friends feel just as comfortable and pampered as I did was really important.
Monique was so accommodating and flexible in working with my schedule. She did such a great job making sure everything was done on time while still giving everyone the attention they deserved. She truly helped make the morning of our wedding feel relaxed and enjoyable!
Most importantly, my makeup looked absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I felt like the best version of myself and received so many compliments throughout the day. It photographed beautifully and lasted through all of the happy tears, dancing, and everything else the day brought!

I happened to see her at a hotel while she was doing hair for another wedding party, and I was immediately impressed by how sweet and professional she was. After seeing her work, I knew I wanted to reach out to her for my own wedding. It ended up being one of the best decisions! Monique did an absolutely amazing job, and everyone in my wedding party loved their hairstyles. She made us all feel beautiful and comfortable, and it was such a pleasure having her be part of such an important day.
Now, as a wedding coordinator, I also have the opportunity to recommend vendors to my own couples. One of my brides was having a difficult time finding a hair and makeup artist she felt comfortable with, and I immediately thought of Monique because of my own wonderful experience with her. My bride absolutely loved her! Monique was incredibly patient and took the time to really listen to what she wanted. Throughout the process, she would stop periodically to make sure my bride was happy with her makeup and comfortable with how everything was coming together. I have been to makeup/hair artists that tend to take an "i'm the professional and know what's best approach" and Monique was the complete opposite. She let me be vocal about what I wanted and checked in frequently throughout the morning to make sure I was happy with how everything was coming out. My hair stayed in place all night and even with the dancing and sweating on the dance floor, my makeup did not move. I felt just as beautiful at the end of the night as I did in the morning. She is an AMAZINGLY gifted hair and makeup artists, as well as the KINDEST professional I have ever sat down in a chair with. She dealt with my anxious energy the day of, and smiled and calmed me down the whole way through! My hair and makeup did not move the entire night!! My hair actually didn’t move until the next day, because I was too tired to fiddle with the clip ins after the reception. The wonderful women she brought with her to work with my party we’re extremely talented and extremely professional in themselves.

Monique from Resilient Beauty did my makeup for my November 27th Wedding. When I first met her, we were doing a trial and I said “I want to look like a glammed up version of myself...
” and she knew EXACTLY what I meant and nailed it. Fast forward 11 months to my wedding and she delivered yet again. Both myself and my bridesmaids makeup came out flawless. Everyone loved how natural but beautiful they looked. Second most important was that my makeup remained perfect through the many tears I cried that day, and it did! I cried (happy tears) multiple times throughout the day and you absolutely wouldn’t know it.
Leading up to the wedding Monique was responsive to many many questions and was SO organized when it came to plan a timeline. She kept close communication with my hair dresser to ensure that the morning would flow smoothly. The morning was perfectly timed, not rushed, and I even had time to relax before it was time to leave. Monique is friendly, sweet, and has a great energy- qualities that you definitely would want out of someone you’re spending time with during your wedding day with! t only did I look amazing but everybody in my bridal party and there were 14 of us plus two little girls.
Her team was incredible, and everyone felt so seen and heard. I have been in dozens of weddings and my hair always ends up looking meh. All of my bridesmaids kept coming up to me telling me how beautiful they felt and that just felt SO good as a bride.
The part that still makes me really emotional is that Monique wasn't confident in my friend taking off my veil so she decided to stay until after the ceremony to take it off herself and fix my hair. I felt like I had been given an angel.
I don't even really think I need to speak as the photos do it justice. If you can work with Monique it will be the best decision you ever make for your wedding.
