Very clean througout, with a pleasant light smell of bleach upon entry.
For a casino, the food choices are limited and the prices are absolutely absurd. No buffets here. Rules constantly change regarding getting points, leaving you abruptly ...
with lower status or less spending power. Views are great from upper floors (wooded.)
If you expect adults only, bc its a casino, you'll be disappointed with kids taking over pool, screeching, while mother's ignore-chatting with others. If its not a weekend, there are virtually no services and the only eatery open is the newly renamed Catskill Cafe, instead of the original 24 hour diner. Menu becomes more limited with each passing month and is down to one page- sans basic ice cream or milkshakes.
Room accommodations are wonderful with comfy beds and pillows, but they no longer provide robes. High tech, with several bottles os water provided. Across the parking lot is The Alder, with excellent front.desk, but more reminiscent of a chain-hotel. Los Gatos restaurant, is a slightly lower priced option, but with limited hours.
If you have been in the past, expect less. The 3rd floor bar is no longer open, nor are snacks available.
Instead of scaling back prices and attracting more of a crowd or lical following, ownership instead pinches the faithful. Staff has been downsized in order to make up for less-than-anticipatwd earnings. If I ruled the world.. .

This has the be the very worst tournament poker room for miles. After an announced raise, a player throws in chips to call BB without noticing (or hearing) the raise. Player throws his cards towards the muck and is told by player who raised to ...
retrieve his cards (as they were in front of him and hadn't hit the muck). The dealer, away of all of this, while waiting on the floor to come to the table, reaches over, grabs cards and begins to muck them. Again, the raising player says not to muck the cards while the dealer is actively mucking cards. Now, cards are mucked and the floor comes over and decides only the call stands and player doesn't have to call the raise.
The next bit of fun involves a dealer who helicopter the cards so the whole one end of the table can make out the cards when being dealt. When confronted, the dealer complains that another player's arm is in the way causing him to deal high. This leads to a disagreement because the paying tournament player doesn't want to accept that their cards will continue to be exposed because the dealer doesn't know how to do his job correctly. Now, on notice, the dealer does it again because he didn't like being confronted.
At yet another table, a male player flicks the dealer button and it hits a female player and says nothing. No excuse me. No apology. Nothing. When told that it hit the player, he offers no apology and begins to berate the player he hit asking her if she's now a victim. Like the cat lady he appears to be (can't make this up, he smelled like cat urine and had a coat of fur all over his clothes). He said he's in that poker room everyday - how very, very sad. No life, no shower nor washer/dryer, so no hard feelings stinky.
It's a wonder this room continues to exist at all. By the looks of it, it's a waiting ground for the desperate and despair to be taken out of their misery.

Only one of the few casinos I am actually comfortable at. Great views, great rooms, enough gambling options, the Chinese food and Korean dish was excellent and prices were reasonable. Faculty and dealers are nice. Only downside is you pay a pr...
emium to withdraw from ATM, (as you do in most casinos though I think a little higher.
Even though I didn't win, I did enjoy my stay very much 😉Next time 🥴

This review is specifically for the Awana Spa in the hotel! The gals there truly went above and beyond to offer my best friend and I the loviest experience possible. It was clean, stylish, and so relaxing. The girls at the desk accommodated us ...
right away, even though we didn’t have appointments. My mani/pedi from Shula was wonderful, what a gem of a human. Loved it!
The casino itself is clean and fun, as well as our room, and the restaurants are very good! Get the frito misto from the steakhouse - delish!
