Got married here a year ago and I haven’t had the chance to write on this property but people should be warned. The ballroom we chose, Lilly Ballroom was absolutely beautiful no do...
ubt about that and the food was phenomenal. However, the process of planning this wedding with this hotel was absolutely horrendous, it seemed like it was their first time doing a wedding. Jackie who was the sales person was really nice and really responsive but unfortunately you don’t get to work with her the whole time. Katie was our banquet coordinator and go to person for the wedding and she dropped the ball numerous times during planning an on our actual wedding day and night. Katie didn’t pay attention to details, nor did she ever note anything we discussed on our phone calls. On our wedding day she removed one of our beverage stations from our ballroom and guests had no idea we had drinks available during dinner and inside the reception hall. For cocktail hour we ordered a spread for about 115 people and it looked like a charcuterie board enough for about 15 people at your Memorial Day bbq and it wasn’t refilled. Dinner time was an absolute mess ! There were no servers anywhere to be found, guests weren’t offered drinks, coffee, or tea, and people’s empty dishes were left on their tables for over an hour. Their timeline was completely off and Katie was nowhere to be found, my wedding coordinator was going around asking tables if they need refreshments. This hotel is ONLY concerned about charging you for everything yes even water, but have no customer service to support their cost of things. My guests elevator key cards didn’t work all weekend (not just my guests all hotel guests) people were stuck in elevators taking rides to others floors because room cards weren’t working. There were so many guests with unauthorized charges on their room which they had to wait in line for hours at checkout to get removed. The cherry on top? One of our guests car parts was stolen from under their vehicle the night of the wedding in their parking lot. Their security team was unprofessional enough to tell us that it had happened to 3 other guests that night as well and their security just isn’t great in the parking lot. It is apparent why this hotels numbers plummet more and more each quarter. They have inexperienced staff and just be prepared to do a lot for your own wedding because their own coordinators are not fit for the job.
We have had the best experience working with Jackie Powell at Resorts world to coordinate room blocks and engagement photos for our wedding. Jackie is so detail-oriented, responsiv...
e, and on top of her game; not to mention is the sweetest and most helpful person we have had the pleasure working with during this process. From the breathtaking venues, to the staff and service, Resorts World is one of the top places in Las Vegas for a wedding! Cannot recommend enough!
