I received so many complaints on my hair and makeup for my wedding. Virginia and her team were fabulous to work with, very friendly and talked with us the whole time we got ready. ...
My makeup was flawless even at midnight! I highly recommend them.
Virginia and the team were a delight to work with from start to finish! They all are talented hair and make-up artists who create wonderful work!
Virginia was incredible to work with! Not only was the makeup stunning and long lasting but she is such a lovely person. Our whole group had a wonderful day with her and enjoyed so...
many laughs. I could not have asked for a better makeup artist to be a part of our special day.
I loved Virginia! She is so personable and kind. Getting ready was so fun and everyone looked amazing! I’d recommend her any day
I'm trying to find the words for how BEYOND grateful I am for Virginia and everything she is, does and stands for. We first met for my bridal hair/makeup trial, as well as a custom...
color and cut, so we spent the day together in the salon and instantly formed a connection. Virginia's kind, calm presence gave me a sense of comfort and trust that I've never felt with a hairdresser. She understood exactly what I was looking for, brought it to life and made me love my hair again. She also understood how important it was that I felt like myself in my makeup on my wedding day and not overdone, and she worked so patiently with me to find that perfect middle ground. She really has a special way of enhancing your natural beauty -- a true artist! Resurge is a safe, welcoming environment where you get to feel beautiful in your own skin, and Virginia carries that same self-love energy into the bridal suite. My bridesmaids adored her! She also brought on our amazing hairstylist, Tegan -- we all fell in love with our bohemian braids and soft curls, including my two flower girls. Together these two made an awesome team and brought such a fun, positive energy to the day. I highly recommend Virginia if you want great vibes and to feel stunning and confident all wedding day long -- she's your girl!
I'm so glad I found Virginia - she is amazing at what she does and is super easy to work with! She created the perfect makeup look for me, thankfully after minimal input, since I d...
on't know anything about professional makeup! She is also super upfront about her abilities - my intricately braided hairstyle was a bit out of her wheelhouse, so she brought a wonderful hairstylist, Tegan, on board. As someone who always does her own hair, I wasn't sure how many trials we might need for me to be happy with the hairstyle, but Tegan did my hair perfectly on the first try! Virginia and Tegan were such an upbeat, fun, and relaxing presence on my wedding day - they are wonderful people to talk to and are very efficient! Virginia also did an excellent job with my mom's makeup, getting her to try out new colors and styles that really complimented her. I cannot recommend Virginia highly enough, her service was perfect and left me feeling confident and beautiful on the best day of my life!

orting an LGBT+ friendly business. She expertly handled differing skin tones and complexions throughout our wedding party and was just an absolute joy to work with. We cannot recommend her enough!
Virginia was amazing to work with for my wedding! She spent the entire day with me for my trial, where we did a custom color, make-up, and hair. Sitting down in her chair was like ...
sitting down with a friend, which made it that much better when it came to the day of the wedding. She was a calm and grounding presence, and really set the tone for the big day. She listened to what I was going for and gave me a beautiful, natural look that still felt like me. My makeup stayed all day and still looked flawless by the end of the night! Our hair stylist, Danielle, also hit it out of the park with a gorgeous half up-do and floral arrangement. The experience was very professional and low-stress — Virginia was communicative and flexible, and was great working off of feedback from our trial. I’m SO happy we went with Resurge Beauty Bar for our wedding and highly recommend them!
I had initially planned to use Resurge for my wedding this fall, but ended up eloping a few months early. It was one of the bittersweet parts about ditching the original plans! Vir...
ginia was nothing but wonderful to communicate and work with and I would go to them again in a heartbeat!
