They were amazing to work with and the venue was absolutely stunning!
We had our wedding at The Retreat this past weekend and it exceeded our expectations. We cannot thank you enough for all the ways you went above and beyond to accommodate our weddi...
ng during such a crazy time. We appreciate how flexible you were with our many date changes and our downsizing to a smaller event due to the pandemic. Rachael, especially, was absolutely incredible and quite honestly I don't think I would have made it through this without her awesome event coordinating. She's really a treasure! ❤️ My guests can't stop talking about what a beautiful wedding it was. Thank you for making our dream a reality! Seriously.
We had our wedding April 3rd of this year! This place is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! The staff was absolutely amazing, and the view is beyond comparable. Even when things started going ut...
terly wrong (with my florist), the staff here immediately jumped in to see where they could help out. They were good with set up, and break down, and having the rooms ready for us. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I agree with the comment on remembering it isn’t the four seasons, but you don’t go to the mountains for internet and cell service! You go for the views! And boy so they have them!! They accommodated my dogs, and my family members. They made sure my vendors were helped promptly, and honestly handled everything without it being brought to my attention. Andrea and Rosanne were amazing. Would definitely book here again 😊
Had a smallish wedding reception and rented the large banquet room. We had to get legally married last year since Covid ruined our original plans. We decided to still have a par...
ty, we really wanted good food and good pictures for us and our families. We got to have our first dance and still had a small DJ set-up. There were lots of safety precautions that we had to abide by but since we were expecting those and the Event Director and her team let us know what was required, our group was good and we had a great night. I really enjoyed the open bar and we got to bring in our favorite dessert which was a big deal to us. Food was really good for a buffet, it tasted fresh made. The reception room is really really cool if you like that lodge/wood look. The hotel is small so just remember that its not the Four Seasons, our family loved the rooms with the small fireplace and the views of the snow. We heard other hotel guests complaining that the Wifi wasn't super strong or they had no cell service. We had no issues and enjoyed the mountain and will definitely be coming back for our anniversary.
This is a long overdue review - My wedding was months ago but I meant to give them my gratitude all over the place!
I had my dream wedding planned here but obviously things fell...
apart and I had the figure out what to do. I almost cancelled but the new events ladies there were flexible and worked with me to recreate a smaller reception. I was nervous about everything but I didn’t need to be. It was seriously fantastic. The service was great and everything felt safe but comfortable. I’m glad I didn’t cancel or even postpone my date, everything felt right and I have great memories of my wedding day!
We were totally thrilled with our quickly booked and planned micro-wedding here! Detailed plans for a big out of state wedding had to be abandoned but honestly...this was so much...
better! We invited our closets friends and family and the events team built us the perfect ceremony and reception. The food was amazing and the views and privacy are incredible. I’m trying to figure out why there are any bad reviews but my only guess is people aren’t reading their contract bc they were very honest, helpful and clear about what parts were handled by us and what they took care of. Everything went smoothly and was exactly as we requested! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience planning something quickly and with very little stress. Our guests are still raving about the view, food and ballroom! Loved our wedding and wish I could do it all again !!
Amazing ! You pick this place for its location but it’s staff shows off with exceptional service . We frequent this hotel and are never disappointed with its service! Our guests ...
had help with their bags and when they needed something they got it. Even with a change of wedding coordinators it still went flawlessly. Could not thank this team enough! Best day in the best place !
The moment my husband and I saw the venue in person, we know immediately it's the one where we want to exchange our I Do's. It's perfect for intimate and rustic weddings. I love ...
that the mountain is the backdrop and the sun is shining through us during the ceremony. Ours was a winter wedding so it was cold, but The Retreat package includes the use of the outdoor heaters. We did a DIY wedding and it was a treat to be able to use some of their rustic wagons for our decors as well as other things we can use instead of spending on. They have a small team but they were very helpful in every way during the planning and especially on the event itself. Desiree, their event manager, made sure everything is in place and she was very comforting when I was already starting to get stressed out on the day before the wedding. We had the reception and the cocktails also at the venue. The food is very delicious considering it's more affordable than other venues in Las Vegas. If you're considering The Retreat as the venue for your special day, check them out in person and feel the magic of the venue! <3
I have had dreams of getting married at the Retreat since May of 2019. I was planning my whole day around this lodge on the mountain with a wonderful coordinator named Desiree. She...
was accommodating and understanding and ready to help me plan the whole day. The Lodge changed Management around the time I first looked at this venue. They promised they would have multiple renovations by the next summer. Around March or April of 2020, Desiree left and the new events team took over. They were hard to get a hold of, and not willing to honor any of the agreements I had with Desiree. They have this policy where you pay for half your wedding upfront, which is not the case for many other venues in Vegas, and they were not very accommodating when there is a global pandemic causing uncertainty for a lot of families(I.E. better payment plants). It makes me think they need money up front to fund renovations and other expenses. The venue I went with instead has a DJ, Officiant and open bar included for the same price as the retreat. I also went up to the Retreat this week and the renovations they did make were not worth the extra money or the deposit. I thought about just doing a ceremony here since I was so in love with the venue, but they only do "ceremony only" weddings Monday through Thursday. Their new wedding coordinators are very hard to get a hold of and just unwilling to sell you on the venue. I felt like she had already written me off before even getting to know me. I'm so much happier now with my new venue. Thank you retreat for making my decision to change visions and venues easy.
There is so much to love about this venue. The scenery is incredible, this is the most naturally beautiful place to get married. All our guests were raving about the food. The day ...
itself was completely flawless and flowed so smoothly, the staff helped decorate everything exactly the way I wanted it. Planning got a little hairy with staff changes because of the pandemic but once Rosanna was on the team everything was smooth sailing from there. Rosanna was so great communicating and keeping me in the loop always and super flexible helping me create the low key easy wedding I wanted.
Desiree and Sam were both amazing! Their team was great as well. My husband and I started off with one budget, and because things never go as planned we had to make several changes...
and budget adjustments. Desiree and Sam were so gracious and willing to help us make the day as special as possible. I couldn't have asked for a better venue and help! We both love the outdoors, and the mountains are always calling to us. We most definitely needed to have the wedding outside! The weather was perfect, the food was very tasty and I couldn't ask for a better venue to fit our Game of Thrones-themed wedding! The rooms were renovated and the price of the rooms was very reasonable! I highly recommend for that rustic, mountain feeling. Plus, the firepit was great to heat up all the guests when the sun went down! Thank You!
This was a beautiful place for us to have our ceremony. We were able to set up ceremony and reception at the resort which was perfect because we love the mountains. We had all our ...
guests get rooms there and we all had a fabulous time. Everyone at the resort was amazing and so helpful to us. Misty coordinated everything for me up until the very last minute. She was always helpful and easy to get ahold of for all my small questions. The day of we had Rich, the food and beverage manager, there for our entire evening and he made sure everything ran smoothly. Overall it was an amazing venue and we couldn't thank them enough!
This was the perfect venue for my husband and I. We were able to do an outside ceremony in June and include our dog. We are outdoorsy people so the setting was perfect. We had some...
issues with the planning team and it was a little stressful so I would recommend having a planner or at least a day of coordinator of your own.The staff was friendly and flexible though just lacked some leadership. It was also nice to have all the events of the day in one place. (Ceremony outside and reception in ballroom).
