Retro Bakery made our wedding cake dream come to life. From the very beginning, they were easy to work with. Don't live anywhere near LV? No problem. They were always responsive and they duplicated example photo, perfectly- we choose a small cake and multiple cupcake flavors using their tier rental. EVERYONE ranted and raved about how yummy each cupcake flavor was... butterscotch is a must. Thanks again!

Brian and his team created a perfect cake for our wedding reception. It was affordable, tasted great, and was a hit with everyone who ate it! We couldn't even save our top layer it was so good. We'll be back to savor a cupcake whenever we are back in Vegas, Brian. Thank you!

NO REGRETS WHATSOEVER. From the moment we stepped into this place we knew it would be where we ordered our wedding cake. Not only are the flavors delicious, but we also received amazing customer service from Brian and his team. My husband and I are from San Diego, but were getting married in Las Vegas. Every time we made the trip to Vegas up until the wedding we stopped in to try more delicious cupcakes. We have not been back since the wedding, but you can guarantee we will stop in again for more when we do!! We ordered a 3 tier pistachio cake for our wedding and it was AMAZING, both in looks AND taste! It was delivered on time and still tasted fresh as ever. One of the groomsmen actually ate about 3 slices because he couldn't get enough lol! I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone looking for a great tasting/looking cake at a great price!

YUM! Our wedding cake was amazing. We went to Retro Bakery after emailing with Brian and they gave us a box of cupcakes with cake/frosting combos to choose our cake flavors from. We went with raspberry cake and a lemon frosting that was so good we had a few guests admit they ate 2 or 3 slices! They made a beautiful three layer cake with ombre gold glitter and navy blue retro stars. The cake was delivered on time and we had a pleasure working with Retro Bakery every step of the way!

HOLY CUPCAKES! The best I have ever had! We ordered 8 different flavored cupcakes in the mini size and a 6 inch cut cake from Retro for our wedding. All the flavors were amazing and the cut cake was vanilla with chocolate icing and it was delicious. Our family and friends cannot stop talking about the cupcakes, they keep asking me if they will deliver to Virginia. I wish!!!! This was a very affordable bakery and so tasty! Thanks RETRO!

We had a slight mix-up when I made a change to the design so the cake we got wasn't 100% the cake we thought we were getting, BUT, the decision the designer made actually still worked out well and did our vision justice. Plus you can't beat their amazing flavors... Hop scotch all the way!

We ordered a cupcake tower for our wedding on Friday, May 9th, 2014 - 6-inch cutting cake + 120 mini cupcakes. The flavours we chose were: (cake) Vanilla cake with peanut butter buttercream, and (6 flavours for mini cupcakes) Creamsicle, Red Carpet, Coffee and Donuts, Cookies and Cream, Cotton Candy, and Maple Bacon. Everyone loved all the cupcakes and the flavours; I think the most popular one among our guests was the Maple Bacon – might be because we’re all Canadian ;) Unfortunately I only got to try the Red Carpet, and our cake of course, and both were absolutely delicious!! We had it delivered and set up for a fee, and it was on time and set up beautifully.

I would highly recommend Retro Bakery to anyone! They have the best cakes/cupcakes I have ever tasted! I had never eaten at Retro, but took a recommendation from a friend for cupcakes for our wedding. I called them and received friendly, efficient, professional service. They set the cupcakes up for a fee, and it is definitely worth it. They use a delicious buttercream frosting and the cake is done just right (not too dry or too moist). Perfection!

The staff here is so kind and helpful! I had absolutely NO CLUE what I wanted to do for my wedding cake and they helped me narrow it down! They made us basically a mini two tiered cake which tasted amazing! We also ordered several dozen of their mini cupcakes which were perfect to go with our mini two tiered cake! They have so many delicious flavors as well! Great place! Kari and Brian are awesome! Definitely recommend them!

My wedding cake was absolutely beautiful. I ordered at the last minute (2 weeks before) mostly becuase I read a few bad reviews from the previous company I booked with (Caked Las Vegas). The Owner personally delivered my cake himself. I was disappointed that they didn't offer Fresh strawberries or puree, especially since they told me "they had the best buttercream in all of Las Vegas". While the cake was beautiful, it did not taste good at all.

Retro Bakery is so cool! The cupcakes are yummy, and they have so many unique flavors. I got a cupcake tower with a wedding topper. They did exactly what I wanted and everything tasted great. We got so many compliments! And it was a great value on top of it! Couldn't be happier.

Retro did a wonderful job on our wedding cake and for a great price

I saw a design I liked on Retro’s flickr page and they modified it for me and were able to integrate our colors into it. I went with 9 dozen mini cupcakes for 33 people, and we had about 2 dozen left over. We had Milk & Cookies, Mint Chocolate Chip, Happy Birthday, Apple Cider and Glazed Donut and they were all delicious! They had no problems setting up in our private dining room in Il Fornaio and the coordinator at Il Fornaio was very impressed with how quickly and easily they set up.

The cake I had for my wedding looked better then I could have imagined! And under the beautiful design on the outside of our cake, it was the best tasting and super moist cake! I will be returning to retro for any of my future cake or cup cake needs!

We ordered a 6inch cake with 3 dozen mini cupcakes. We got to pick different flavors, everything was so delicious and the small cake was decorated exactly how we wanted. I highly recommend this bakery.

Retro bakery was amazing!! Their cakes are awesome, and they were able to make my cutom cake within 3 weeks of my wedding!!

Our cake was delicious (from what I heard. I can't eat cake due to medical reasons). We had a two-layer. The red carpet and pucker up. Best part for me was that they make vegan cupcakes. Since I am from Portland, OR half of my guests were vegan and this was a major selling point for us.

I booked retro because we had done a taste test with them last fall. Every flavor that we tried was delicious. Ordering over the phone was very easy, and I paid everything in advance. I also paid a $50 delivery fee so they would bring the cupcakes into to restaurant and set up on cupcake stands that we provided. The cupcakes were in place when we got there and they were delicious. We ordered 4 dozen each of Chocolate Fountain, Coffee and Donuts, and Pink Lemonade. I also ordered 6 vegan friendly cupcakes for myself. Delicious, pretty, and on time.

All of my guests were really impressed with the cake from retro bakery. They offer such unique flavors that turned out to be absolutely delicious! I used two flavors on two layers so everyone got something they liked! It was very reasonably priced! I would highly recommend them to anyone in Las Vegas!

We though we would have a lot of cupcakes left over - we ordered 8 dozen mini in 4 flavours for 62 people. Not the case! nearly all were eaten! And all were loved by the guests - my mom is still going on about them :) They were a great value, easy to deal with and the did a custom cake top for us to match my husbands zombie / horror tastes - it was everything we wanted it to be and then some.

We ordered our wedding cake from Retro, and were less than pleased with the cake we received. Although it tasted as delicious as we expected, it did not look as we expected. Unfortunately, when it comes to wedding cakes that are such a large part of the photographs, the visual presentation is just as important as the taste. We requested a specific cake from Brian, which we had found a photo of on Retro’s custom cake website. We sent Brian a link to the specific cake we wanted, which should have allievated any confusion. However, after we placed the order, we found out the quote we were given was for butter cream (which has an entirely different look than we requested) instead of the fondant that was pictured in the photo we sent. It was also a significant price increase over the butter cream, but because we live out of state, it was too late to research and find another bakery. Brian told us the flower decorations on the cake we requested were no longer available, but that he would be able to make them himself, and that they would be even better. The flowers we ended up with on our cake were not at all what we had requested, and were blue instead of the teal we had asked for (we even sent a photo of one of Retro's previous cakes that was the exact color that we wanted). Our cake ended up looking like it belonged in someone else’s child’s birthday party, instead of our wedding. Wrong look, wrong flowers, wrong color, and several of the flowers had broken and fallen off of the cake (although this could have been the fault of our reception venue as well?). Although we loved the flavors of the cake, we would definitely not recommend them for creating a *wedding* cake. We do not think it is an unreasonable expectation for a bakery to recreate a style of cake and a color scheme based on cakes that they list in their cake gallery. If they were unable to do so, they should have let us know so that we could have planned differently.

We live near Retro and stop in for cupcakes regularly, so we knew that we would have them at the wedding. The cupcakes are always delicious and the staff was wonderful in helping us decide on the other details and how to display them. The cupcakes did not disappoint! Many of our guests commented on how much they loved them. Retro was easy to work with, reasonably priced, and provided delicious treats for our guests!

I got all my cupcakes for my wedding from Retro. They were easy to work with and delivered my cupcakes when they said they would. My guests loved them!

We got a small cake and 5 dozen mini cupcakes for our 40-person party. There were plenty to go around and everyone loved them! (espically the kids!) Each cake was decorated perfectly and the cost was $100 for all of it. Plus I gave them barely 2 weeks notice and it all worked out without a hitch! These guys are pros and if I ever need a cake in Las Vegas again, they are the only place I'm going to call!

Brian at Retro Bakery was absolutely a pleasure to work with. Being that I was planning from a distance, I'd read reviews that he could be difficult to get ahold of and that made me slightly nervous, but my husband loved their work online. Well, I couldn't disagree more -- I never experienced any responsiveness issues at all. Brian and I communicated both through email and phone to create a custom cupcake tower and 6 inch cutting cake on the top. He provided recommendations as to how many flavors to choose, which ones were popular, and the best looking set-up. I told him I wanted it to be a "Married in Las Vegas" theme, but didn't really have any inspiration pictures to share or anything. When I saw the set-up (which they executed on time and perfectly), it was like Brian had been in my head! Every other cupcake was all individually decorated - and looked to me to be all different -- with poker chips with my new last name initial and dice. Brian also took care of our cake topper, which was my new last initial and it knocked my husband and father-in-law's socks off!!!! Then we got to eat them :) Everyone raved about the taste. We had ordered about 1.5 mini cupcakes per guest and, even with the additional dessert buffet provided by the venue, had very few left over (we would have liked more left over lol). I would absolutely recommend Retro bakery for any event - and wish I lived closer so I could use them again!

We wanted cupcakes for our wedding--and I'm vegan, we stumbled across Retro Bakery in our google searches and they seemed like the answer. We did a destination wedding in Las Vegas (I live in Alaska) went down a few months before and tested out some cupcakes and they were divine. The ordering process was a peice of cake, we even changed it on them twice and it was fun. They let me know when they were on their way to deliver the cupcakes and they were beautiful. We got several flavors and my guests LOVED them. We went with the mini-cupcakes which was a great idea, guests got to sample several flavors. Thank you so much for making my evening so delicious!

I order our wedding cake from this bakery based on the excellent reviews! The cake was out of this world, like no wedding cake I have ever had. People are still talking about our cake. They were willing to acommodate all our requests.

After a lot of surfing around my fiance and I decided to go with Retro Bakery to do our custom wedding cupcake tower. Their website had great ideas and so many different flavors to choose from. We started with just an email with a few ideas. We got a response back pretty quickly with a price range of what were looking at. I drew a quick sketch of what we were imagining and emailed it to Retro. They were able to give us a price and book our order that day. On the day of the wedding they delivered the cakes and came up to our suite and set the tower up. The cakes were arranged beautifully and our custom "cutting cake" was exactly as we had imagined we wanted with beautiful big red roses on the top and hand piped hearts and scroll work around the sides. Not only were the cupcakes and top cake beautiful they tasted amazing! I would recommend anyone looking for a good deal and great tasting cake to use Retro Bakery. They were more than we could have hoped for! :)

We wanted a unique cake with a Celtic knot design for our Irish-themed wedding, and Retro Bakery did a beautiful job. What's more, the cake was delicious -- Retro's buttercream frosting is to die for -- and the price for a custom cake was lower than most bakeries in Las Vegas.

I was so impressed with the cupcakes from Retro Bakery! They were so delicious! Brian was great to work with and the prices were so reasonable. I defnitely recommend them!

My cake looked just the way I wanted it to look. They delivered it on time and it tasted great. They gave us way more cake then we had expected. We actually had to throw away half of it because we couldn't eat it all.

We went with cupcakes instead of a cake - but they were fabulous - moist and delicious - everyone raved about them!

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I was an out-of-state bride and concerned about ordering a cake from so far away. Everything was as they promised. The cake was delivered exactly when said and it was beautiful and delicious.

Retro Bakery went above and beyond our expectations! They have so many delicious and unique flavors to choose from! We wanted a highly specialized design, and turned out even better than we were expecting! Absolutely wonderful!

The cupcakes and cake we ordered were so moist and delicious! keri was great help and was so friendly and energetic! The service was great when you were able to get through on the phone. I found there were several times when no one answered and there was no way of leaving a message.

Kari was so easy to work with, she was very flexible and patient working with me over the phone and email to make sure to create a display I was happy with. It turned out better than i had hoped! And the cake was delicious too! Only downfall is that they wouldn't do set up as late as my reception, so I had to rely on my venue to help.

Again I found out about the Retro Bakery from an online forum and looked up their website. They had some really neat cake designs. I ordered the cake online and was really specific about the fact that the cake had to be delivered BEFORE 3pm as our wedding ceremony was out in the Valley of Fire and we would be leaving to make the drive out there. They were quick to respond to emails and made booking the cake easy. When I arrived in Las Vegas I contacted the bakery to let them know where they could reach me if there was any problems and again stressed the importance of the delivery time for the cake. On the day of the wedding the cake did not arrive before we had to leave for the Valley of Fire. We had to pay a bellboy to accept delivery of the cake and deliver it to the suite while we were not there. When we contacted the bakery they apologized and said that the delivery driver was running behind so he just made the decision to change the delivery time for our cake to later. The apologized but did not offer to cover what we had to pay the bellboy to accept the cake in our absence. The cake was gorgeous and tasted amazing though.

Going through the process of getting the order placed took a while. Longer than I would have liked. Everyone loved the cake. We have a raspberry layer and everyone loved it. Their cupcakes our great. My husband goes out of his was to get those cupcakes. I wish that the colors on the cake had been brighter, but everyone said that the cake was beautiful!

Brian did an amazing job on our cake. We gave him a picture and he made it even better!

Brian and Kari are amazing to work with...they can create any type of design on a cake or cupcake. Our cupcake tower was gorgoues and our guests loved it. Cupcakes taste gorgeous.

Delicious doesn't even come close to describing Kari and Brian's cake and cupcakes! We had 3 dozen mini's and a 6" cake for our small wedding. As it turns out, we were eating cake and cupcakes for the entire week and I woke up craving a pink lemonade cupcake a few days after getting home. They have perfected their cakes and the buttercream icing is pure heaven. No wonder all the locals we came in contact with were practically drooling when I said Retro was our bakery. We will definitely be visiting them on every trip back to Vegas!

We decided to do a cupcake tower with a small cake on top to cut for ourselves. After seeing the variety of cupcakes at Retro LV we had to use this place. We lived out of town and after reading all the great reviews I trusted this place without having a cake tasting before. The cake and cupcakes were absolutely amazing! We received so many compliments on how good they were, and we were so happy that we went with Retro LV. Also, Brian was easy to work with, we emailed what we wanted and how we wanted it to look. Everything went without a flaw. Thanks so much Retro Bakery.

Delicious wedding cake!! Bring in a picture and they will make it look even better than the picture. I just couldn't get over how DELICIOUS the cake was! And you have so many choices to choose from!

Amazing. Hands down, amazing. Brian and Kari were both fantastic to work with, and the price could not be beat--we ended up getting 4 dozen mini cupcakes (which meant we were allowed to choose 8 different flavors; 2 per dozen!)--and two regular sized cupcakes for our "cake toppers" to be placed on. I had originally planned to pick up the cupcakes on my own (to avoid delivery charge) while I was out there dropping off my cake toppers---but, was running around like crazy and decided to spring for the delivery to avoid some extra running around--and, well, since they were already making deliveries to the strip--they delivered my cupcakes on the house! The cupcakes were such a big hit with everyone; I cannot recommend Retro Bakery LV enough!
