Throughout the whole planning process, John Perkins was beyond communicative and accommodating from start to finish. He was willing to come look at the venue with us, talk us through many song options, and worked so hard to help us make our dream a reality. He made the whole process a breeze and on top of that, was such a delight to work with!
On the day of the wedding, they did a phenomenal job MCing and played the whole night with so much energy. I never have seen so many people on the dance floor at a wedding and that's thanks to all of the talented band members. I can't recommend HTS enough!

a sound system, and played music before/after/during breaks. Communication with them was great. I had a lot of changes to the event and they were always accommodating and had swift responses to all my communications.
The performance itself was beyond fantastic. The musicianship and authenticity of the music was beyond compare. The term "yacht rock" is thrown around a lot but really what it was is spot on covers of great music from my youth done without any irony. I have seen them perform several times since then and am always impressed by the catalog of songs and faithful performance of those songs. I highly recommend them for a wedding or any event you're planning.

our guests are musicians...so the bar was very high for them - and yet they surpassed it! They are both very technically talented as well as having a great connection with the room. We all danced and sang the night away. It was a lavish event - and, hands down, the best money I spent was on this band. I was also impressed with their ability to work with the uniqueness of our space. John was excellent to work with - he made the process so easy for me, was a great communicator, and was always responsive. Every member of the band and crew was top notch professional.
