Retro Punkz is the absolute best. All of our highly experienced vendors called us the week after our wedding to tell us it was the best wedding they've ever been to. The guests all agreed it was legendary too. I attribute this to three things, amazing event staff, cool lighting setup, and above all else the best wedding band you can find. They have the best energy that can get ANYBODY on the dance floor. They have incredible talent and Vegas & JoJo are the nicest, most incredible people to work with to make your vision a reality. My search for a wedding band was extremely thorough, I had watched hundreds of videos from every single band available within 100 miles of New Orleans on the Knot. I went to multiple listenings to hear the bands and not one band met the energy and abilities that Retro Punkz has. They can play any song, any genre, very well. They will get into the crowd, they'll pull audience members on stage for dancing, and they will get both families laughing and singing together. They have a residency at Famous Door playing most nights, so go check them out!

Book this band!!!!! Retro Punkz were incredible. My husband’s entire family are professional musicians and they were blown away - along with everyone else at our wedding. What a talented, kind, and extremely professional group of people. Our dance floor was packed from the first to the last song - no one wanted it to end. We knew in advance that Vegas would not be available for our wedding and Jojo crushed it leading on her own. Her voice is incredible so I can only imagine how talented Vegas is! One of the best wedding bands I have ever seen and somehow very reasonably priced - you couldn’t ask for more, you want these guys at your wedding!!!

From our very first conversations, it was clear that Vegas and the Retro Punkz were committed to making our wedding feel uniquely ours. We came to them with a number of requests, ideas, and details that were important to us, and they exceeded every expectation. Want them to learn songs that reflected our Bay Area roots? Done. Hoping for some extra attention and energy during my bachelorette celebration? Absolutely. Need support coordinating a second line and helping bring that quintessential New Orleans magic to life? They handled it flawlessly. What truly sets Retro Punkz apart, though, is that they were so much more than the band at our wedding. They were the heartbeat of the celebration. They read the room perfectly, kept the energy high all night, and created the kind of atmosphere that had every guest smiling, dancing, and fully immersed in the moment. They weren't just providing entertainment—they were creating memories. Even now, one of the things our guests talk about most is the band. Since our wedding, several friends have gotten engaged, and without fail, they've told us they hope they can find a band as incredible as ours. That's probably the highest compliment we can give. Out of everyone I landed on Retro Punkz. Best decision ever. If I could give 1000 stars I would. Right from the beginning of establishing communication, Vegas, Jojo and the band have gone out of their way to understand what we wanted for our band at the reception. I have been quite specific in what I wanted and all of my requests were catered for, for which we will be forever grateful. High energy, fun and interactive our guests still haven’t stopped talking about them, ‘best band ever’ generally being the most popular statement said. I truly cannot speak highly enough of them and you will have 0 regrets booking them. Communication has been great, they’re professional, great value and really go out of their way to make sure you get exactly what you want to create an unforgettable experience.
