ersonality is so welcoming and kind, he made our ceremony amazing! He arrived early to greet our guests, met up with us prior to the ceremony to let us know how it will all go, and found everyone who would had a role in our ceremony and briefed them on their parts as well! Also, Carolyn made getting our marriage license absolutely hassle free. We just met up with her once and it was all done! They are the best team! Highly recommend.

lanning to add a whole bunch of nerd references to the ceremony speech. I was a little nervous going in to it, but Carolyn did such a good job!! She was excited to tackle it and had fun making it something unique and special for my husband and I. We added all kinds of things, star wars, star trek, lord of the rings, marvel, etc and it flowed together very nicely and everyone who attended had fun listening to it. Another thing I liked a lot were the different options they had for you to pick from in terms of what kind of a ceremony you wanted. They were very professional and also very welcoming not only to us but to our guests as well.

ad recently transitioned to another church, so we didn't have anyone we were familiar with to perform our ceremony. Finding a minister was one of the the things I was most nervous about. I have been to weddings where the pastor just did not seem to fit, no feeling of a personal relationship between the bride/groom, and some that have even said the wrong last name when pronouncing them husband and wife. Our venue, The Summit House, had referred him to us and we could not have been more grateful. Him and his wife, Reverend Carolyn, were truly a blessing to us and he even offered to work around my husband and my schedule and also met us close to home. After the initial meeting all my nerves had disappeared and we were the ones that felt honored to be meeting with him. We booked him on the spot. During the process he was in constant contact with us, helped us build a ceremony that was true and unique to us. He even took note of our wedding colors in order to blend in and asked about any out of state guests to include in the welcoming portion of our ceremony. The day of, he came to check in on my husband and I, meet our family and wedding party, and he also engaged with a good majority of our guests prior to. Our guests really enjoyed meeting him and we got nothing but compliments on him and our ceremony. That day he was also in contact with and on the same page as our photographers and dj...believe me...this was important. We truly can't put into words how fantastic he is. If that isn't enough, his wire Rev. Carolyn also conveniently met us at our leisure to fully take care of our license. We didn't have to take any time off of work and she took care of everything. We were truly grateful for this. Again, these two were a blessing.

We both marveled at how she carried herself with ease and grace. She really made our ceremony special for us and our guest. As the bride, walking down the aisle is a very special and nerve wrecking moment. I was a little nervous about it. But when I walked down, I notice everyone in the audience was standing. It really gave me a moment to connect with people when I was walking down the aisle. Truly. It made all the difference to me walking down that aisle. We purposely had a small wedding and we really felt the impact of our decision right then. After the wedding, I asked my husband about why everyone was standing and he said that Rev. Carolyn asked everyone to. I was touched that she thought of doing that because of how special it made my walk. The extras - Before the ceremony, she checked on me to see how I was feeling. I was fiddling with my bouquet and she told me to hold my bouquet to my belly button. I'm so glad she mentioned my belly button because I was able to use that as a frame of reference. And during the ceremony, she moved off to the side so we could give our vows and it gave the photographers a chance to snap pictures of us at the altar. We had non-denominational, contemporary ceremony. We also used her services to take care of our marriage license. Everything was worth every penny!

She helped us with every and any question we had from the first day we met her to the day of the wedding. We are so thankful and grateful to have Carolyn as our officiant! m Yuba City (CA), but Yuba City could certainly use a Pastor Norman! Found Pastor Norman after a recommendation from our Orange County wedding venue. He responded quickly to email, then maintained a months-long correspondence by Skype, email (we planned our wedding from our NYC home base), and over Starbucks coffee as the wedding approached. We were offered a tailored wedding ceremony ranging from traditional Christian to a completely secular bonding ceremony, along with add-on elements such as candle lighting, rose presentation, etc. While we worried about semantic details and were tempted to wordsmith the options, Pastor Norman ended up riffing organically at the special moment - we would suggest that scripts are actually guidelines. We enjoyed our ceremony as much as the guests did, as Pastor Norman sprinkled in humor to keep the mood light. His warm personality that we enjoyed for months was quickly evident to all; it's pretty easy to imagine him rocking a Disneyland wedding. Finally, we found the availability of Rev. Carolyn, who moonlights as a notary public, to be particularly valuable in navigating the California marriage license process. Through her seamless coordination with Pastor Norman, the legal part of a NYC-to-OC wedding was actually the least stressful part of the entire process. Would strongly recommend taking her up on her license offer.

We did not see him after our first meeting until the day of the wedding, but you would have thought that we had known each other for years! Norman really made us feel like family and like he was truly emotionally invested in our marriage! We have had so many compliments for Norman from friends and family since the wedding. We did not forget about Carolyn though!! She has a wealth of knowledge about the name change process and was an enormous help to us! She is a notary public and was willing to meet with me on multiple occasions to notarize documents. I could see how she would also be an amazing officiant as well! Just as personable and friendly as Norman and makes you feel like family even after a few meetings!

We got compliments on how beautiful her voice sounded during the ceremony! She was so sincere and excited during the ceremony. She was very professional but warm throughout it.
