Rev. Carolyn Alexander

t. I loved it. She also worked with us to incorporate some cultural aspects (I’m half Persian, and my husband is half Korean). Could not be happier with the service we received.

ersonality is so welcoming and kind, he made our ceremony amazing! He arrived early to greet our guests, met up with us prior to the ceremony to let us know how it will all go, and found everyone who would had a role in our ceremony and briefed them on their parts as well! Also, Carolyn made getting our marriage license absolutely hassle free. We just met up with her once and it was all done! They are the best team! Highly recommend.

lanning to add a whole bunch of nerd references to the ceremony speech. I was a little nervous going in to it, but Carolyn did such a good job!! She was excited to tackle it and had fun making it something unique and special for my husband and I. We added all kinds of things, star wars, star trek, lord of the rings, marvel, etc and it flowed together very nicely and everyone who attended had fun listening to it. Another thing I liked a lot were the different options they had for you to pick from in terms of what kind of a ceremony you wanted. They were very professional and also very welcoming not only to us but to our guests as well.

ad recently transitioned to another church, so we didn't have anyone we were familiar with to perform our ceremony. Finding a minister was one of the the things I was most nervous about. I have been to weddings where the pastor just did not seem to fit, no feeling of a personal relationship between the bride/groom, and some that have even said the wrong last name when pronouncing them husband and wife. Our venue, The Summit House, had referred him to us and we could not have been more grateful. Him and his wife, Reverend Carolyn, were truly a blessing to us and he even offered to work around my husband and my schedule and also met us close to home. After the initial meeting all my nerves had disappeared and we were the ones that felt honored to be meeting with him. We booked him on the spot. During the process he was in constant contact with us, helped us build a ceremony that was true and unique to us. He even took note of our wedding colors in order to blend in and asked about any out of state guests to include in the welcoming portion of our ceremony. The day of, he came to check in on my husband and I, meet our family and wedding party, and he also engaged with a good majority of our guests prior to. Our guests really enjoyed meeting him and we got nothing but compliments on him and our ceremony. That day he was also in contact with and on the same page as our photographers and dj...believe me...this was important. We truly can't put into words how fantastic he is. If that isn't enough, his wire Rev. Carolyn also conveniently met us at our leisure to fully take care of our license. We didn't have to take any time off of work and she took care of everything. We were truly grateful for this. Again, these two were a blessing.

erful communicator. On the wedding day, she was a necessary and calming presence. We could not have asked for a better person to marry us. We both marveled at how she carried herself with ease and grace. She really made our ceremony special for us and our guest. As the bride, walking down the aisle is a very special and nerve wrecking moment. I was a little nervous about it. But when I walked down, I notice everyone in the audience was standing. It really gave me a moment to connect with people when I was walking down the aisle. Truly. It made all the difference to me walking down that aisle. We purposely had a small wedding and we really felt the impact of our decision right then. After the wedding, I asked my husband about why everyone was standing and he said that Rev. Carolyn asked everyone to. I was touched that she thought of doing that because of how special it made my walk. The extras - Before the ceremony, she checked on me to see how I was feeling. I was fiddling with my bouquet and she told me to hold my bouquet to my belly button. I'm so glad she mentioned my belly button because I was able to use that as a frame of reference. And during the ceremony, she moved off to the side so we could give our vows and it gave the photographers a chance to snap pictures of us at the altar. We had non-denominational, contemporary ceremony. We also used her services to take care of our marriage license. Everything was worth every penny!

ize our ceremony. Her website made the payment easy. She was prompt responding to me and at the ceremony. We could order our marriage certificate copies directly through her. She did a great job at the ceremony!! She added some personalization with our story as a couple and spoke well! Thank you very much for everything!

was a huge part of that magic he was professional and brought such joy and personalization to the ceremony. We also utilized Reverand Carolyn's marriage license service, which was convenient and efficient. Overall they made the wedding ceremony and legal process easy to navigate due to their patience and knowledge. We highly recommend!

ng with her was over the phone. She was so sweet, caring and calm throughout our conversation about her officiant services. After meeting with her in person, we knew she was who we wanted to officiate our wedding. She was responds to emails in a timely manner and always encouraged us to contact her if we had any questions. She has templates of ceremony vows that she provides but also is open to you editing those or making your own version. She is really about working with you to make your day special. She also worked with our venue several times and our wedding coordinator enjoyed working with her, which helped with communication running smoothly. On our wedding day, she was great - checking in with us prior to the ceremony and made sure everything went well during our ceremony. Overall, we would highly recommend Rev. Carolyn for her officiant services (her husband is also an officiant). Thank you again, Carolyn for all your efforts to make our wedding day special!

feel so grateful presided over this very special day. She added sweet personal touches to the ceremony and had all my guests in tears -- and asking for her business card! A lovely human being you should absolutely hire! Responsive, easy to work with her, and took care of everything we needed. Loved her!

ge license and they were very quick to respond to any questions we had. They both have such sweet hearts and Norman talked to guests before our ceremony and had the crowd entertained during the ceremony. It was great! Thank you so much Norman for being there on our special day and to the both of you for all of your help!

nized, detailed, and kind. We were very impressed with her amazing writing talent as she wrote the ceremonies herself, and she also had some great ideas to include a special touch during the ceremony. Our special touch was the Rose Presentation to Mothers. All of our guests were very impressed and touched with the wedding ceremony, they thought it really captured who we are as a couple. She was very responsive, professional, and arrived an hour early just so she could be ready for the ceremony. She helped us with every and any question we had from the first day we met her to the day of the wedding. We are so thankful and grateful to have Carolyn as our officiant! We would highly recommend Carolyn to any couple!

ry of the ceremony and professional to a tee. This guy married Mariah Carrey and Nick Cannon and is one of the few to marry people at Disneyland! We highly recommend Pastor Norman!

she sprinkled a lot of Disney love throughout our ceremony and it was just perfect! Highly recommend to anyone especially Disney couples! Thank you Carolyn!

ble to customize our ceremony to truly reflect who we are as a couple. Her professionalism and love for what she does is apparent and we are grateful to have had such an amazing person serve as the officiant for our special day. She will always be a part of our wedding day family!

m Yuba City (CA), but Yuba City could certainly use a Pastor Norman! Found Pastor Norman after a recommendation from our Orange County wedding venue. He responded quickly to email, then maintained a months-long correspondence by Skype, email (we planned our wedding from our NYC home base), and over Starbucks coffee as the wedding approached. We were offered a tailored wedding ceremony ranging from traditional Christian to a completely secular bonding ceremony, along with add-on elements such as candle lighting, rose presentation, etc. While we worried about semantic details and were tempted to wordsmith the options, Pastor Norman ended up riffing organically at the special moment - we would suggest that scripts are actually guidelines. We enjoyed our ceremony as much as the guests did, as Pastor Norman sprinkled in humor to keep the mood light. His warm personality that we enjoyed for months was quickly evident to all; it's pretty easy to imagine him rocking a Disneyland wedding. Finally, we found the availability of Rev. Carolyn, who moonlights as a notary public, to be particularly valuable in navigating the California marriage license process. Through her seamless coordination with Pastor Norman, the legal part of a NYC-to-OC wedding was actually the least stressful part of the entire process. Would strongly recommend taking her up on her license offer.

ecided to have Norman be our officiant and he was absolutely perfect! We did not see him after our first meeting until the day of the wedding, but you would have thought that we had known each other for years! Norman really made us feel like family and like he was truly emotionally invested in our marriage! We have had so many compliments for Norman from friends and family since the wedding. We did not forget about Carolyn though!! She has a wealth of knowledge about the name change process and was an enormous help to us! She is a notary public and was willing to meet with me on multiple occasions to notarize documents. I could see how she would also be an amazing officiant as well! Just as personable and friendly as Norman and makes you feel like family even after a few meetings!

et us copy and paste between them. She offered ideas on how to personalize the ceremony and we ended up doing a rose exchange as well as writing our own vows. We got compliments on how beautiful her voice sounded during the ceremony! She was so sincere and excited during the ceremony. She was very professional but warm throughout it. Her fee was $275, which is less than others.

mpletely invested in your wedding and the ceremony you have especially customized to your exact wishes. He truly made our wedding the perfect day!
