He told me he usually runs a more non-traditionally religious ceremony, but he still kept the ceremony solemn at the right moments, and accommodated any traditions and bible verses that we wished to include in the ceremony. He didn't ask just the basic questions (how did you meet?, first date?, etc.). He asked why we loved a certain body part, what makes the other so special. He understood that it was important for our daughter to be included in the ceremony. He wrote special vows for my husband to say to her. He quoted Disney movies which the kids at the wedding loved, but had a significant meaning to marriage. Our guests all commented on how our wedding was unique and unforgettable. Pastor Cory has no cookie-cutter ceremony. He cares about what you want and do not want. He makes you feel comfortable from the first interaction to the final good-bye. He was on time for our rehearsal and made everyone feel at ease with the timeline. My husband is introverted, but Pastor Cory helped him feel comfortable which is an accomplishment very few people can achieve. He was very fairly priced for all of his services. We would choose him again and again without hesitation. Thank you Pastor Cory for giving us a wedding that surpassed our dreams.

Although Rev. Cory has a religious background, what I love so much about him is that he’s adamantly devoted to respecting the views and desires of the couple. Rev. Cory guided me and my wife to create a ceremony personal to us that incorporated our loved ones. Rev. Cory gave a beautiful ceremony that kept my guests captivated with many of them coming up to us to rave about him after! Without a doubt, Rev. Cory was worth every penny.

Cory is really easy to talk to, and he asked well thought-out questions to find out exactly how we wanted the details of the ceremony to be. He carefully listened to all of our preferences, which were really easy to voice because he made us feel comfortable and trust that he would not judge them. Cory even helped us out greatly last minute before the ceremony, making us feel well taken care of in a moment when we both were nervous and just wanted everything to turn out well. He even checked in with us the day after, and we really appreciated it! We would not have wanted any other than Cory to be our officiant. Professional, heartfelt, communicative, and caring; we’d highly recommend him to anyone!

n City and Rehobeth Beach, MD fully intending to get married there, with the scenic gentle ocean waves behind us as we read our vows. The only problem with that plan was that we didn’t expect the below freezing temperature and pouring rain! Instead, at the last minute we decided to drive back home late the night before our intended wedding day and pray that we could find a pastor that would be willing to marry us the NEXT DAY. We knew that we were expecting a miracle, and Pastor Cory was it. We first made contact with him at 7:44 pm and not only did he respond right away, but he committed to doing it by the next day! We worked out the location and exact time, the documents were sent electronically and everything was signed and paid for in advance. Everything that he sent us to read and sign was straightforward. The software was intuitive and easy to follow and before we knew it, we were all set and could actually breathe again and sleep easy the night before our Big Day. The morning of, we were on our way there when we got a text reminder from Pastor Cory to remember our marriage license (thank goodness) because we had to make a quick u-turn and raced home to get what we would have definitely forgotten because of the excitement of the day. We totally appreciated that one small thing and it’s just a testament to the attention to detail that he provides. We learned that he listens well, reads everything that you send him and incorporates it all into a very personalized ceremony. Pastor Cory was at the location we chose right on time, with a big smile and extending a warm handshake and a hug. He helped to turn what could have been a very stressful time for us into a beautiful memory. His vows were perfect and light and filled with a casual feeling that mirrored who we are. He injected laughter and good vibes into all of it and after taking pictures of us, prayed for us and wished us well. And we were well; we had been married by Pastor Cory. We would recommend him to anyone that wants exactly what he offers online. He’s a 5-star real deal and we’re thrilled to know that every time we think of our special day, that he’s a part of it. When i signed the contract Rev Cory had another contract come in before mine so i was upset he wasn’t available BUT little did i know he has a team of associates and we had the pleasure of having Rev Chuck as our officiant. We live in Richmond and they are in Newport News so it was difficult to meet in person so we did a video chat with him and we fell in love right away! He has the best personality and humor and we knew we were in good hands. He was so personable and always responded within the hour by text or email when i had any questions. We couldn’t have imagined a better ceremony. Rev Chuck did such an amazing job i can’t even put into words how perfect it was! We got so many compliments all night and after from our guests saying it was one of the most fun and best ceremonies they’ve ever been to! It was amazing how he was able to capture our love from a 5-10 minute video chat and questionnaires and turned our ceremony into something so beautiful and fun at the same time.

expected. Our realtor was able to find Reverend Newell in a town that we didn’t even live in yet and arrange for him to come down to the Courthouse at 8 AM on a Friday morning. We were engaged already but this ceremony was still a little unplanned to say the least, however, Reverend Newell made our nuptials so very special! I forgot about the fact that we were in front of the courthouse and just enjoyed the beautiful service performed by our new officiant! I cried at the Bible references he made and the way he talked so heartfelt about us having a loving and committed marriage. As I looked into my new husband's eyes, we just knew this was the way it was meant to me. We were able to close on our home and have a ceremony and a reception six months to the day later. Thank you Reverend Newell for making sure our service (although last minute) beautiful, special, and everything that we cared about having on our wedding day!

een ready but due to other issues our ceremony didn't start until an hour later. The morning after our wedding we received an email from Cory, stating we were being charged a fee for a late ceremony, to which I understood and didn't have a problem with. The problem came when we received a text with the same info, and later that day another text claiming he was holding our license until the fee was paid. We were extremely busy the day after and being rushed for a response was very off putting. Most couples leave for their honeymoon right after their wedding so expecting a speedy response, then using our wedding license as ransom was extremely upsetting. So upsetting that I was in tears dealing with this. My husband and I were exhausted both physically and mentally and going back and forth with Cory via text was not something I ever expected I would have to deal with less then 24 hours after our wedding! He clearly was more worried about $75 then he was with giving us time to respond. We paid him for his services promptly, so his assumption and treatment as if we weren't going to pay his late fee was unreasonable. After Cory disrespected me via text, my husband called him and told him we would meet him to pay the late fee and retrieve our license and asked that he not communicate with me any further. We met him today, handed him a money order and filed our license ourselves because I no longer trusted that he would do what he contractually was supposed to do. Sadly we realized after meeting him to to pay his late fee that he had also walked away with our written vows. As much as he brags on all the weddings he's performed, he could take a moment and remember how important his role is. I will not allow what took place after our wedding to ruin the memories of my day but I will also tell future brides to be careful! He had no problem threatening our license, eventhough the fee we paid him before the ceremony included him filing the license. It does not state that he can hold onto the license if a late fee is not paid. I'm sure he will now be adding that, but when I asked to see where that was stated on mine (after reviewing it many times over) he took to insulting because he knew it wasn't stated in it. So for future brides and grooms I just ask you to proceed with caution....
