He was able to provide a brief rundown of our ceremony during one of our facetime calls and even though it was a rough draft it brought me to tears. He was able to assist with picking readings and blessings for the ceremony. He was amazing. So glad he made out day extra special.

wedding back to the end of 2021 in light of the pandemic but we wanted to proceed with our union in 2020. We found Reverend Dan about a week before we said I Do and he was able to fit us in during our house hunting trip. It was just the two of us but Reverend Dan made it feel like we had a friend alongside as we said our vows. The custom ceremony he wrote up was just beautiful; he included a lovely poem he wrote for the occasion. Additionally, we were so grateful that he offered/took pictures of us after the ceremony, as we didn’t have anyone to witness or help in that matter. Reverend Dan offered us many suggestions for outdoor places to get married since we were new to the area and unfamiliar. He showed up promptly on time and also sent off the wedding license paperwork quickly; we received the certified copies within a couple of weeks. I can’t say enough kind words about this wonderful man of God and how blessed we were for having found him to perform our ceremony.

! Super personable and nice and really invested in making sure our ceremony was about us. He took the time to get to know our relationship and our love story and build our ceremony around those things. I loved that he sent us our ceremony a few weeks before the wedding to look over – he even provided different suggestions on readings and phrasing so we could customize however we chose. The ceremony went really smoothly and we received a ton of compliments from guests on it. Our guests also loved Rev. Dan himself – many of them who got the opportunity to speak with him remarked on how much they liked him! Any couple who is looking for a genuinely great person and a personal touch to their ceremony should hire Rev. Dan immediately!

! I really can't say how well the other officiant would have been, however I absolutely believe Dan Harris did the most amazing job marrying my husband & I! The entire ceremony was already pre-planned & written out in booklet. Dan Harris took that booklet & executed it just PERFECTLY! I just re-watched my ceremony video for the first time & I thought to myself "he just did a fantastic job"! The very first time we met Dan Harris was our wedding day & he was so friendly & welcoming. He made us both feel very comfortable and confident that we picked the right person to marry us. After leaving a deposit to secure the date, he sent us an outline and detailed script of what the ceremony would look like. If was very comforting knowing exactly would would be said, what music would be played, and in what order. We were able to customize anything about the ceremony. Biggest plus was that Rev. Dan showed up for the wedding rehearsal and successfully coordinated it. The entire bridal party felt they knew what they were doing the day of the wedding. The actual day of, Rev. Dan showed us dressed very professionally. He immediately began to coordinate with the staff of the venue and the DJ to endure the ceremony would go just as we envisioned it! When he was speaking during the ceremony, you could tell he was comfortable and a true professional. He has an excellent speaking voice, tone, and projection. He made inserted some unexpected but very tactful, humor during the ceremony which put my Bride and I at ease. For his punctuality, attentiveness, professionalism, and expertise, my bride and I absolutely recommend Rev. Dan to anyone considering him as the wedding officiant. He even stayed for dinner during the reception and made good friends with my own pastor (who showed up late- hence why we hired Rev. Dan!) Thank you, Rev. Dan, for making our day a special one and for making sure it went smooth!

the night before the wedding. I loved the personalization of our ceremony. Everything is detailed on his website to choose which package you are looking for. He then performed a FaceTime interview with us since we weren't living in the Chicagoland area. I loved how we were able to pick out our own verses and vows with guidance from himself and his website. Two weeks prior to the wedding, Rev. Dan sends us the exact outline of the ceremony, so there are no surprises! I loved this because I have attended a couple weddings where the Bride and Groom were embarrassed with something they didn't know would be said. Rev. Dan worked with us to attend the rehearsal and completely took charge. He gave a bunch of tips on how the bridal party should look when standing up i.e. where to hold flowers, how to place hands... He was very thorough and took his job very seriously. We appreciated the orderliness because we got so many compliments after the ceremony. Not only was he professional, but he was fun. You can tell he loves doing this and we loved working with him!
