hat we were not "Members" of a traditional Church, we found it was not as easy as we thought to find an Officiant. My wife actually found him through The Knot. After doing alot of research on Rev. Dave, I found that he had officiated over 290 weddings, was a military West Point Academy graduate, and a true southern gentleman with a great personality. With me coming from the South and also from a military family, I decided to reach out to Dave. Within 10 mins of talking to him, I knew he was "our guy"! Dave went way far above and beyond for us. Being a very detailed oriented and demanding "client", Rev. Dave accommodated every single request that we had. Dave spent a lot of time with us leading up to the Day. He provided multiple Zoom meetings with us, his communication was precise and he even helped us with the entire plan and execution. He even came up with some great scripture, poems and ideas on how to provide the perfect experience for us on the most special day of our lives. Not only did he communicate with us daily for over a month before the wedding, he even spent 2 hours with us the day before the wedding perfecting the rehearsal with all of our wedding party. Dave was also very competitive and reasonable with the cost. I almost felt like he did us several "favors" and spent extra time with us, at No additional cost. I truly feel that he actually cared about us. Not only that, Rev. Dave has an amazing personality. He is very witty, funny and even made it enjoyable. He had our guests feeling comfortable and even laughing. Dave is an amazing person and a true Gem of a Pastor. He is very smart, knowledgeable and I feel that he really goes above and beyond to really get to know his clients and wants to do whatever it takes to make the Bride and Groom happy! If you want a Pastor that is reasonable, takes it to another level, and goes above and beyond with a great sense of humor....then Reverand Dave Hillburn is your guy!
