the most wonderful warmth and calm to our ceremony. We had a couple of calls ahead of the day where Debbie asked thoughtful questions and talked to us about our relationship. She shared draft materials and resources to help us lay out how we wanted our ceremony to look, which were all really helpful. I grew up Catholic, and I was worried that our wedding wouldn't feel "real" because it wasn't happening in a church, but Debbie dealt with that so well and put together enough structure to let it shine. We opted not to look at Debbie's reading ahead of time (she was easy to trust), and on the day she just blew us away with her thoughtfulness, warmth, and light. She really listened and thought deeply about what we had said in our phone conversations. You would have thought she'd known us for years. I could not recommend her services more highly.

Our ceremony was truly special and unique to fit Dylan and I and she included many personal touches in her sermon that really tied everything together perfectly. Dylan and I wrote our own vows and Rev. Deborah was very helpful along the way with giving us advice on writing them. She was also a great support for my husband as he stood nervously awaiting for me before the ceremony started. He said she really calmed his nerves and helped minimize his anxiety about speaking in front of a crowd. I highly recommend her if you are looking for an affordable officiant that is funny, caring, and easy to work with!

She contacted each and every one of our vendors, including the coordinators at our church and our reception venue, and put together a detailed breakdown of the entire day. It was so easy to email to the wedding party, and everyone knew where they needed to be. She was there for the the entire getting ready process, making sure that we were all on track with our schedule, and made sure all of the vendors were on time as well. Deb was an incredible support system for the planning process, and really kept us organized the day of the wedding! I cannot recommend her highly enough!

After reading it, it was hard to believe she had just met us. My husband is Deaf and she was very understanding with Deaf culture. She even asked how to sign some words to better communicate. The best part was the day of, when she met me outside the venue and gave me a hug! She made sure I got inside without being seen by the groom ;) The ceremony began on time and couldn't have been better.

Our first meeting was really all that was needed, she made us feel instantly at ease and really is the kind of person where you meet her and automatically feel like you've known her your whole life! She worked with us creating the perfect wording to match our personalities! The ceremony was flawless. We were super pleased with everything!

Now understand that our ceremony took place OUTDOORS in the rain and 45 mph winds with 45 degeree temperatures and no shelter. We changed the site 2 hours before the wedding and Deborah never blinked an eye. And in the end we feel we had the perfect wedding. That's how warm she made us feel. OK...so her fingers were blue - but she made US feel warm. :-) Understand that this is not any exaggeration or a sales call. We simply feel that she is everything you need and nothing that you don't. She is as genuine as her first impression and we would suggest that you should have no doubts once you have chosen to share your wedding with her. Congratulations on THIS decision - now all the next ones will be easier.

arry my husband and I! I was scrambling around the net, looking at websites of different officiants. None of them really sparked my interest, until I landed on Deborah'a page! I knew from reading her website that we would click and she'd probably be the one to marry us. I sent an email and withing a couple hours, I had a very pleasant email, introducing me to her services. After reading, I replied back and we set up a meeting. The meeting went smoothly and we asked Deborah to be the one to marry us. We had about 5 weeks to go until our ceremony. She was in contact with me several times a week to see how things were going and if I needed help with anything. My husband and I wrote our own vows and she was always willing to help us out if we got stuck. On the day of the wedding, Deborah arrived about an hour before my ceremony. We talked a little and I finished getting ready. Next time I saw her was when I walked down the Isle. The ceremony flowed beautifully and she was very comfortable the entire time, adding personality to the entire ceremony. The ceremony was about 20 minutes and it was perfect and I wouldn't change a thing. We even got compliments from our guests saying how they enjoyed our ceremony and our officiant. If I ever need a vow renewal or know someone getting married, I will definitely recommend Deborah! Thants for making our day perfect!

marriage. The best part of our vows was that it was more spiritual than religious and it came from the heart. She was very flexible with our crazy schedules which made a huge difference and she responded to questions and concerns in a timely manner.
