Rev. Diane performed a beautiful wedding for us. She actively made us part of her ceremony planning in terms of what we wanted included. She is very professional and organized and personable. Communication was open especially with us being from out of town. She is a seasoned veteran for performing weddings. Her words during the ceremony were moving and perfect. After the wedding, I had several people comment on how great she was and how her words helped make the day.

Reverend Diane was such a bright spot on our wedding weekend! She truly spent time getting to know us and our families. She crafted a beautiful and personalized wedding ceremony perfect for us. We received so many compliments on her words! Diane is caring and thoughtful, and she is very flexible to each couple's wishes. We highly recommend her to make anyone's day special!

We got married during the Covid pandemic. We had to cancel our 150 person wedding, and then decided on a whim to do a 6 person backyard wedding instead. Within a month of that decision, we were saying our I-do's in our backyard. Diane helped make a stressful time magical, and hilariously fun! My friends loved her so much, that they pretty much insisted that she stay and eat with us. She did, and thank goodness she did, because it would not have been the same without her. She was like family, during a time when the majority of our family was unable to attend. She helped our wedding feel safe, and unique, and easy. We felt so special in her presence. She holds a place in our hearts forever :)

Reverend Walker was amazing! From my first conversation with her, I knew she'd be the perfect officiant for our wedding. She made sure to get to know us as individuals and as a couple and integrated that into our wedding ceremony. Our ceremony was short and to the point (which is exactly what we wanted), but Rev. Walker also integrated important concepts about love and marriage throughout, which we really appreciated. We would highly recommend her to anyone!

Diane helped us put together a wonderful and personal ceremony by suggesting vow language and readings and putting together a ceremony that matched our style and personalities. Even after our first meeting I can't imagine we would have chosen anyone else to officiate us other than Reverend Diane. As soon as our meeting was over we looked at each other and knew she was who we wanted immediately! Along with her sweet, caring, and compassionate personality, she brought professionalism while keeping it fun - we never once felt unsure if we had made the right choice and she always made us feel comfortable. We loved every second we spent working with her on how we envisioned the ceremony and everything went beautifully as expected. Everyone we talked to after our wedding told us this was one of the best ceremonies they had ever been to. Diane made it personal to us as a couple and she executed it beautifully. Reverend Walker has such a gift! From our first phone call with her we knew she as the perfect fit for our wedding. She delivered a ceremony that was a beautiful reflection of our relationship. Our closest friends and family, knowing us so well, could not believe how absolutely spot-on perfect the ceremony was. She was always available to answer any questions and had great resources for us when trying to decide specific aspects of our ceremony. She was also extremely accommodating when it came to scheduling our initial meeting- I had to reschedule last minute due to work and she was so flexible. Seriously cannot recommend her highly enough. She helped make our day absolutely wonderful and one we will always cherish!

She spent a lot of time getting to know us so she could truly understand who we are and could create a beautiful ceremony representative of our personalities and our love for one another. She also had some wonderful suggestions for additional content she felt was appropriate for our style of ceremony. Given that we were planning our wedding from halfway across the country, we really appreciated her efforts to stay engaged with us as we neared our wedding date. Diane was wonderful from the start. She was quick to respond to emails and we had such a wonderful first meeting. She was so easy to talk to and made my husband and I feel comfortable opening up! Very professional but down to Earth. We had a rehearsal the night before and she made sure everyone knew what to do and where to be. Diane even showed up early to the ceremony to make sure everything was set up and ready to go. She went above and beyond answering my multiple emails and made sure I was confrontable with final decisions. Not only was she amazing helping in wedding preparation but the ceremony was absolutely perfect in every way. All the guests spoke about how she was the best minister they have ever heard at a wedding. I highly recommend Diane and thank her so much for making my big day a dream come true!!

So so very sweet! Diane took the time to get to know us personally, and come grab coffee with us. She was so friendly and easy to talk to. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does. My family was raving about how great her service was :)

Diane officiated our parents wedding, and I have to say she was fantastic. Diane was recommended by our wedding coordinator and I'm so glad we chose her to be our minister. We met with her and she sat down with us for an hour and a half to throughly get to know us individually as well as our relationship. It was a lot of fun, and when our wedding day finally came she completely tailored our ceremony to fit us personally and perfectly. By getting to know us she included everything we said about what we loved about each other, details on how we met, and how we persevered through a long-distance relationship. She really brought together our intimate wedding seamlessly, and at one point when my husband and I were shaking and about to cry she eased our nervousness by telling us to breathe. Our ceremony wouldn't have been the same without her by our side, and people really gravitated to her because so many people came up to my husband and I and told us how cool Diane was and how beautiful and personal our ceremony was. Diane is the best choice you could make in hiring a wedding officiant, and my husband and I highly recommend her!

I had known Diane for 4 years before my husband and I decided to get married, and she was the first and only person I thought of to marry us. She is genuine, trustworthy and accommodating in every way. We had a destination wedding in Sedona, AZ. We got married on top of a large hill in the middle of the red mountains. She was willing to fly where ever we wanted to go. She also did the research on the marriage license rules in AZ, and all of the things I wouldn't have thought of. At the end of the intimate ceremony, she even recited the words to my husband's favorite song by Etta James, (this brought tears to his eyes.) Our wedding day was of course very unique, but she made it even more special! I highly recommend Diane Walker to be your officiant for your special day!!

Diane is incredible! Flexible and fun!

My husband and I found Rev Diane here on the Knot, and met her for a consultation soon after. She was very personable, calming, and kind. Immediately we knew Diane was the one we wanted to marry us. Me had a very non-traditional ceremony, focusing on our love for one another. Diane was on board with our ideas and provided us with beautiful material that she would read in order to make our ceremony unique to us. She got to know us both, taking time to find out details about is as individuals and about our relationship. We wanted to do some sort of unity ceremony, but again being non-traditional we didn't want to do sand, or candle, etc. So Diane actually came up with the suggestion for us to do the Wine Box ceremony, which was PERFECT for us and fit our venue quite well. Diane made time to come to Lexington to do our rehearsal and she made sure everyone knew their responsibilities, and ensured a smooth flow to the ceremony. The day of the wedding, Diane was punctual and professional. She had a calm reassuring manner and helped to settle my nerves! Her advice was to "breath and just look at the man you love" and she couldn't have said anything better! Diane did an amazing job of offiating our ceremony. She delivered sweet messages, captured our personalities perfectly in her story about us and how our relationship came to fruition. She added humor as well as eloquent delivery and timing of the ceremony. We could not have been more pleased with our officiant and would recommend Diane to anyone for whatever kind of ceremony!

Rev. Diane Walker was an absolute joy to work with - in emails, phone calls, in person, and at our wedding. She was incredibly accommodating, kind, calm, and just wonderful! She stayed calm and joyous even after getting lost on the way to the venue, after we had to come up with new vows just minutes before the ceremony, and even after putting up with me while I was being incredibly indecisive about everything. She helped to guide me, mentor me, and prepare me for the big day. She was a true professional and seemed to take genuine pleasure in being a part of our wedding. I couldn't imagine having anyone else officiate our wedding. Both families still rave about her, 3 months after the wedding. I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone!

Our original officiant basically cancelled (didn't call or email me back) three weeks before the wedding. So I was on the hunt and came across Rev. Diane's card at our wedding venue. I called and she was pleasant and wonderful to talk to. She put my mind at ease. And because we had already planned on the budget based on the other officiant, she completely understood and worked with us so that we would have someone there to marry us. She was prompt and kept up with me and was such a joy to work with! I would recommend her to anyone that is looking!
