Based in Carmel, IN, Rev. Dr. Shelly Wood is an ordained Presbyterian Minister who officiates weddings. She has married couples from all walks of life, and loves making each wedding meaningful for them and their families. Whether you want traditional rituals or a low-key ceremony with your own vows, Shelly will make your big day reflect your personal, love-driven journey.
Rec. Dr. Shelly Wood is a senior pastor at Orchard Park Presbytarian Church. She completed her Doctorate of Ministry at McCormick Theology Seminary in May 2016, and enjoys creating a sense of community in the church. She also holds a Master’s degree in Counseling and works as a professional life coach, furthering her passion for human connection and strengthening loving bonds.
Shelly offers two different packages for soon-to-be-wed couples. One includes three one-on-one meetings, for a chance to get to know each other and plan your wedding. Her second package includes three additional meetings for pre-marital counseling, to get you and your partner emotionally ready for your married life. Shelly happily officiates single-faith, interfaith, and nondenominational ceremonies, and will work with you through the creative process to give you the wedding of your dreams.

She tailored our wedding ceremony service to us specifically in a way that truly captured who we are as a couple (our beliefs, feelings towards one another, etc.). Where we were unsure of protocol , she made suggestions and guided us. She also shared many helpful ideas. Working with Shelly was a true delight.
