After sitting down with a couple different officiants we were unsure that we would find the right one for us. Then we met Erin and we knew right away that she was a perfect fit. It was a joy working with her throughout the entire process of arranging the ceremony. Erin always made us feel very comfortable and encouraged us to put our own stamp on the ceremony. Once the rehearsal and wedding day came Erin did not let us down. She was very professional all the way through yet also maintained a lightheartedness that helped make things way less stressful. Erin is a great person and an equally great officiant. We highly recommend her. Give her a shot, you won't regret it!

From start to finish, Rev. Erin Goodman was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is a genuine and caring person, and these qualities were reflected in every aspect of our time working with her. My wife and I would both be placed in the “spiritual, but not religious” category, and we were unsure of what we could expect from a non-denominational officiant. We didn’t want a traditional religious wedding ceremony, but we were also a bit wary of having a ceremony that felt too “new-agey” for us. In short, we were looking for something that felt personal and pleasant, but still maintained a classic feel. Erin delivered on all accounts, weaving together a ceremony that we loved on that day, and will love many years from now. Erin really took the time to get to know us, and it made all the difference. My wife and I would drive down on Sunday afternoons to meet with Erin in her (very cool) office and talk about what we were envisioning for our wedding ceremony, our relationship, our background, and our hopes for our marriage. Erin is an adept listener, and it was clear that she paid great attention to everything we discussed. We always drove home feeling happy and at ease - not always a feeling you can count on when planning a wedding! Outside of these meetings, Erin was professional and responsive, and it made communication very easy. She was a pleasant, reassuring presence, whether it was months before the wedding, or mere minutes. She lead a beautiful ceremony, made thoughtful remarks, and was incredibly comfortable with our guests afterwards. Thumbs up all around! Rev. Erin Goodman is a great officiant, and an even nicer person. We’ll always be happy that we chose her to steer our wedding ceremony.

Erin is a warm and genuine individual and it was a true pleasure to have her officiate our marriage. Erin was very present throughout our engagement always offering to be available for a chat, a coffee or questions. Erin made it very easy to work together - even sky-ping with us when needed. My wife & I had Erin as our Officiant and she was fantastic! Highly recommended for couples who want to have a custom ceremony w/out some of the traditional hoopla - she worked with us to create a ceremony that we were very happy with. Erin met with us a handful of times before the wedding to get to know us, ask questions about our relationship, etc. - my wife & I can be fairly private with people who aren't our close friends or family but we enjoyed our meetings with Erin. It was almost like pre-wedding counseling, in a way.. talking to a stranger about your relationship, etc. When the time came to write her own welcoming for the ceremony, it reflected our own feelings about each other and the ceremony itself. We were able to work with her to customize everything ahead of time & she was very professional and warm during the ceremony. Our families were both impressed and everything went swimmingly! We had a great experience with Erin. We were out-of-state and therefore really needed to rely on our vendors to guide us through the process. Erin was kind, gracious and extremely helpful in planning the ceremony, considering how to address some difficult issues and then adjusting on the fly to bad weather that hit just before our outdoor ceremony (but everything worked out well!). We highly recommend Erin, especially if you're out of state; she'll take great care of you and help you keep things moving (and help you keep your sanity!).

Erin Goodman was the perfect officiant for our wedding. She offered us a lovely blend of spiritual meaning and personal understanding. My husband and I have been committed to each other for many years, but have not been able to carve out the kind of time a big wedding requires. We decided on a very small intimate outdoor wedding and Erin really made the day special for us! Erin kindly worked with our limited budget and met our needs perfectly. Erin is a truly one of the most kindhearted and sweetest person that I met during my search. Erin, my husband and I sat at a little coffee shop and got to know each other. She was interested in our lives, who we are, our hopes and dreams and most of all our love for each other. We easily chatted for a few hours. Erin has a way of making you feel at peace, like you've known her for years. She created a beautiful wedding ceremony just for us, just how we had imagined it.. She met us for our rehearsal and reviewed everything step by step, performed a wonderful ceremony and mailed our wedding license.. She's great, start to finish.. Couldn't have imagined anyone else being our Officiant.

Loved working with Erin. She spent time listening to our ideas with patience, offered a variety of options for us to think about to personalize the ceremony, went with us to view the ceremony location, and performed beautifully throughout the ceremony. We've heard numerous positive feedback from our friends and relatives that the ceremony was so "us", "touching", "can't get any better than that", and "worthy of remembering for many years to come." Our approach to wedding planning was pretty easy going, low-maintenance - the problem wasn't so much curbing our enthusiasm as making sure we stayed on task to cover all the basics! We weren't exactly sure what we wanted, except to minimize all the stress of planning and have a unique, memorable, simple wedding. Erin worked with us every step of the way, advising us on logistics, giving us little reminders to stay on schedule with the things that had to get done, and helping us to work out the shape and personality of a ceremony that was all our own. We met in person 2-3 times for brainstorming and progressively detailed planning sessions, and stayed in regular contact by email. Her templates and samples really helped get our gears turning to start piecing together the elements of our ceremony, since we really didn't know where to start. We chose not to have a rehearsal, but when the moment came, everything came together with the perfect combination of planning and spontaneity. Erin's words were touching and sincere, and mostly served to set us up for reading our own vows, which was perfect for us. The ceremony was great, but it was really all her behind the scenes work leading up to it which was so invaluable to us, helping us figure out exactly what we wanted and making it happen: organizing and writing it up for us in such an efficient and professional manner, reworking things until it was perfect, and turning a bunch of loosely connected ideas into a cohesive, simple and beautiful wedding ceremony. When the moment arrived it was like magic. Thank you so much Erin, we couldn't have done it without you!
