We really wanted a mix of both religious and non-religious wording throughout the ceremony and he had so many suggestions that fit what we were looking for perfectly. I didn’t have to walk him through anything, or explain where anything was - he took the lead and made the day seamless. THE most important part of your special day is the ceremony, hands down, as the ceremony sets the tone for all the festivities to follow, as well as your next chapter. After much research, my Mom found Reverend Gary through Google searches and thank goodness! You cannot put a price tag on meeting someone like Reverend Gary, he is THE BEST! A major "must have" for us was we wanted to personalize our ceremony. Time and time again we attend weddings where we feel the verbiage is predictable and the readings are outdated. We shared our hopes and dreams with Reverend Gary and he was in complete support of our ideas and truly brought them to life. Several times throughout the process we revised drafts and spoke on the phone, which created a sense of indescribable comfort leading up to our special day. From the very first meeting, which we left on cloud nine, and we knew this was the perfect fit! The ceremony was everything we had hoped for and more! Every one of our wishes became a reality and we both walked down the aisle in complete amazement that we got to have our dream ceremony. Immediately following the ceremony, Reverend Gary was the talk of the town and our guests were shocked to hear that we had not known him for years. To this day, our guests still ask us about how we met him! We think that says it all :) Gary, your presence, light-hearted energy, and spirit set the tone for the entire day. One week before the wedding, Gary scheduled a call with us to go over any additional logistics and name pronunciation (which we didn't even think of!) The day of the wedding, Gary was terrific. He showed his sense of humor, compassion, and captured our personalities throughout the ceremony. After the ceremony, he congratulated us and told us to expect our marriage certificate in less than 1 week. I 100% recommend Gary!!

We reached out to separate couples who's weddings we had attended recently that each had an outdoor ceremony because we really enjoyed their officiants. Turns out they used the same person; Rev. are as a couple. We go to A LOT of weddings and we didn't want it to feel like any couple could've been standing up there like a plug and play bride & groom. To say Gary captured us as a couple would be a gigantic understatement. We cannot even count the amount of people who asked us "how long have you known your officiant for???? Are you related???? He was amazing!" after the ceremony. Despite having only talked to Gary a few times on zoom prior to our wedding day, it truly felt like Gary had known us for years. We booked him about a year and 9 months before our wedding date and throughout that time, he checked in on us multiple times to see how we were doing and if we had any questions he could answer. The day of the wedding, he officiated our ceremony perfectly. My husband and I are both introverts and were very nervous and he made us feel comfortable. After the ceremony, nearly all of our guests commented on how much they loved him and how beautiful the ceremony was. In fact, my grandma now quotes things he said during our ceremony because she just loved how he phrased things. If you are looking for an officiant, hire Rev. Gary.
