Fr Jim was fantastic! We got married on Sept 3, 2022, and he made our ceremony everything we wanted! From our first meeting he provided a thorough explanation of the process, and provided all the materials we needed. He did a wonderful job during the ceremony, and my parents (who were initially disappointed that we weren’t getting married in the catholic church), were very impressed and really loved the ceremony. We loved working with Fr. Jim and highly recommend him!

Fr. Griffin was everything we could have asked for in a wedding officiant at our wedding! Holding our wedding ceremony outside of a physical church at first seemed daunting, but with Fr. Jim's help he made it extremely easy. He was easy to talk to from the first virtual meeting and provided all the materials, information, and guidance we needed to set up the perfect ceremony. He was always organized, attentive, punctual, and flexible if we wanted to make any tweaks and changes. The day of the ceremony Fr. Jim was a great resource and worked perfectly with the other vendors. He gave us all great direction and came fully prepared before the ceremony. During, he struck the perfect chord between a traditional Catholic ceremony while also lightening the mood as needed; this is where his experience and poise came in great! My wife and I couldn't have been happier working with Fr. Jim, and I would highly recommend him if you need a wedding officiant!

My husband and I were married on St. Patrick's day of this year. Father Jim was absolutely wonderful. He worked great with our personalities. He was reliable, extremely responsive in a timely fashion. Great to work with. Receptive to our thoughts and vision. Encouraging. Fr. Griffin was great to work with! When we first met with him he was very clear about how he approaches weddings and what services he provides. I loved that he is a former Catholic Priest, as I am Catholic and my husband is not. While I had always pictured being married in a Catholic Church, we decided that it would be better for us and our guests to be married at the venue. Father Griffin's background made the ceremony more meaningful for me, even though he is no longer a Catholic Priest and we did not use the Catholic ceremony. We wrote our own ceremony based on guidance he provided and a booklet outlining the traditional Catholic ceremony. I liked that I had the option to include the traditional gospel readings and prayers and he provided the resources to review what exactly those passages could be in a traditional ceremony. Although we chose to use none of the traditional passages I felt fully informed in my choices and more comfortable with the format and options we did choose. There was no "what if..." moments because of his guidance. He is also very clear on initial meeting that he does not go off-script and ad lib. Everything he says will be written down and reviewed by the couple prior to the ceremony. This was great for us, as neither of us wanted cheezy anecdotes and jokes being thrown around during this part of the wedding. He delivered exactly what was promised and was a pleasure to work with. Many of my guests noted that he did a wonderful job and enjoyed him immensely. I'd recommend him wholeheartedly!

My Husband and I got married at the Kay Chapel located right next door to our reception venue Hotel Viking. We wanted a traditional catholic ceremony but knew a priest would not be able to marry us outside the church so we called FR Jim. Fr Jim was so very nice and helpful. Everyone said our ceremony was beautiful and that is thanks to Fr Jim! He really made the whole process so special and so easy.

Fr. Jim was the perfect officiant for our May 6, 2017 wedding at Clay Hill Farm. Although we weren’t able to meet in person before the wedding, Fr. Jim walked us through designing our ceremony via phone. He was prepared, organized, and made the process easy and enjoyable. We really appreciated his flexibility and our ability to customize the service. Our ceremony was beautiful, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day! Thank you so much!

Father Jim was simply perfect. The ceremony was very important to us. We wanted to incorporate Catholic traditions while making the ceremony our own. Father Jim was very supportive throughout the entire process, offering ideas and insight when needed. We highly recommend Father Jim!

Fr Griffin officiated our wedding at Nashoba Valley Winery on July 31 and did an amazing job. He was so easy to work with and put together a really beautiful ceremony for us. He was able to incorporate both secular and religious elements into the ceremony. We received many compliments on how nice the ceremony was. We highly recommend him!

Jim is the best and a joy to work with. My (now) husband and I were both raised Roman Catholic but wanted to have an outdoor ceremony and still be able to weave in the Catholic tradition(s) and Jim was able to help us achieve this and make our ceremony a beautiful and memorable occasion. My husband and I grew up Catholic but do not follow the Church. I wanted a Catholic feel to the ceremony which was not held at the Church - Father Griffin delivered. He is very friendly, professional and personable. We do not live close to one another and have conflicting schedules - he was very flexible about meeting times. Once we met him, we knew he was our guy! He reviewed the entire process with us, listened to what we wanted and guided us accordingly. After that it was all via email - which was very convenient! He tailored the ceremony to our style and made us feel at ease throughout the entire thing. EVERYONE asked me about him during and after the wedding. I would recommend him 100%.

Father Jim married my husband and me on September 6th, 2014, and we can't say enough good things about him! He was very responsive to all my emails and answered all my questions promptly. He met with us to go over the ceremony in detail a month before the big day which helped calm my nerves. His fee included him running the rehearsal which went well. All our family members loved him and I can't imagine anyone else having married us. We recommend him 100%!

Growing up Catholic, I was looking for someone to give our ceremony a religious feel, but able to marry us outside of the church. Father Jim fit this perfectly. We met with him and knew we wanted to work with him. He was super easy going and we did everything via email. It worked perfectly with our schedules. You can design the perfect ceremony with Father Jim. The day of the wedding if felt like we knew for more than just the one actual meeting we had. He was willing to meet more, but we didn't need to. We wanted to add a chemistry reaction to our ceremony and he was super flexible to the idea and really was excited for it. He walked us through every step and helped keep everyone calm and happy when anxious with all eyes on you. He was incredible and so professional. We highly recommend him to all others. He does a really really great job.

We originally booked another reverend to perform our wedding ceremony and had to scramble to find a replacement two weeks before the wedding. We found Fr. Jim and are so happy things worked out the way they did! He sent us drafts of the ceremony, and was so gracious about the changes we wanted and the readings we chose! When we asked his opinion about adding things to the ceremony he gave us unbiased opinions that fit with what we wanted. Our ceremony was perfect, and I mean absolutely perfect. Flawless, and just as we had written it. Even now, nearly three months later, our guests still say how beautiful the ceremony was and how wonderful Fr. Jim was! We hired Rev. Griffin to perform our ceremony at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge, MA on 4/27/13. We could not have been happier with his level of service. He was flexible with our requests and extremely professional. We recommend him highly!
