She listened to the comments we made and the details we wanted to include, and radiated an aura of calm that helped us tremendously the day of. Oh yeah, and she didn't bat an eye when my husband decided he wanted us to write our own vows a week before the wedding. Jill for the first time in January, I had a very nice conversation with her that put me at ease and I knew that both my fiancé and I would want to have someone that would keep us calm throughout the ceremony. My fiancé later met with Jill and was equally impressed. Jill was helpful in sending samples of different vows and readings that we could choose from and gave us some very good suggestions. After our meeting, Jill put a draft together of the Ceremony set up and she really did a wonderful job capturing both our personalities. We wanted to have a more modern feel instead of the traditional format. Our family and friends were incredibly impressed with the heartfelt ceremony, commenting that Jill had a very refreshing way of talking about the bond of marriage...creating a unique and happy moment for everyone in attendance. emony. We loved her personality upon meeting her: she is dynamic, warm, and funny. Leading up to the day, she was always great at responding to e-mails. We wanted to incorporate some Catholic & Jewish traditions into the ceremony, which she was happy to include. She was super flexible with everything we asked and wrote up an amazing ceremony draft. The draft was sent to us a month before the wedding, so we had plenty of time to look it over. Honestly, there were no changes that had to be made, because the draft itself was so great! On days leading up until the wedding, Jill checked in with us to see how we were doing. On the actual wedding day, she made it a point to introduce herself to our friends and family. She was a calming force throughout and made us feel at ease. The actual ceremony was SO AMAZING. We got A TON of compliments on the ceremony and Jill. We had family members saying they want to get married again just to have her officiate. Out of every detail of our wedding, we definitely got the most compliments on the ceremony. Jill is worth every single penny, and if you want to start your marriage off in a meaningful way, please book her.

The one issue we had was with the ceremony draft. She shared the ceremony draft with us about 2 weeks prior to the big day. I had some edits, including correcting names of family members that are no longer with us and adding a paragraph that was close to our hearts that explained our unity ceremony. She confirmed receiving the updated draft; however, at the ceremony, she did not read the revised copy. In the grand scheme of things, only my husband and I, and a few family members were aware of the mistakes, but it was a little disappointing to hear the wrong names read of our past loved ones. I would recommend Rev. Jill. She was very fun, and made the ceremony light, but serious and important at the same time. We had a beautiful ceremony! We are very grateful for her services.

Our first meeting with her was via Skype as our schedule give us room to meet with her in person, but her personality came through and she made it SO easy to talk to her. She was accessible via email and text (I preferred email), and leading up to the wedding, she reached out to ensure we were finalizing things on our end. She showed up promptly and was so comforting to me prior to the wedding. Prior to the wedding, she walked my parents through what was expected of them and calmed everyone’s nerves. She put together a great ceremony that was personal and unique, and we got so many compliments about her throughout the night! She had a great tempo throughout, and she was great on her feet. Thank you, Rev Jill, for marrying us and adding to our perfect day!

When we got engaged, we immediately knew we wanted to book her. We didn't even want to consider anyone else. We met her at a local coffee shop where we chatted about the wedding day. We already knew she did amazing ceremonies but we learned she was also so funny. We just hit it off with her and booked her right away. As we got closer to the wedding, she sent us a draft of the ceremony. It was just so beautiful. I started tearing up just reading it. Reverend Jill captured exactly what we wanted for our ceremony and the day was perfect. After the wedding, we had many friends and family comment about how Reverend Jill did an amazing job and how her style of speaking is very engaging. We completely agree. (outside other people's weddings) we had each other in STITCHES laughing over coffee for almost two hours. Jill is incredibly personable and she wants to understand her couple so she can best serve them. After coffee and some conversation Jill probably could have written my maid of honor speech: she's easy to be open with and very adaptable. We told Jill that while we were very open to an atypical ceremony our parents didn't want to feel robbed of that formality--- she was able to help us strike the perfect balance so everyone was happy. In addition she suggested a handfasting ceremony (where we would "tie the knot") and it wound up being a place where we could incorporate my deceased father-- we made the handfasting cord out of his neckties and weighed it down with his wedding ring. It was a special touch that Jill really opened the door for. Jill is open to whatever type of ceremony YOU want so fear not: traditional, nontraditional, religious or nonreligious-- Jill is a great choice for an officiant.

(We wanted our ceremony to be less “mass” oriented and more about a celebration of our relationship, our family, and everyone who had brought us to that point in our lives.) Still, it was important to us to have some religious ties that we had been raised with. Needless to say, what we were aiming for was a pretty tall order…but not for Reverend Jill! She met early with us to discuss the ideas and traditions that we wanted to incorporate, (on a side note, she is the most fun, down to earth person you’ll meet!) and assured us that she would revise our ceremony script as many times as needed in order to make it perfect. Together we developed a rough draft of our ceremony, and revised it back and forth about five or six times, each time without ANY pressure or worry. When we finally read through our final version of the ceremony, my husband and I cried. It was the perfect celebration of our relationship, our family, and our friends—just what we had asked for, and just what Reverend Jill had promised. The day of our wedding, there wasn’t a dry eye in our crowd. Everyone—including our very Catholic families—said it was the most touching ceremony they’ve ever attended. In fact, I already had guests at our reception telling me that they want to hire Rev Jill for their wedding! I’ll be 100% honest when I say that having Rev Jill for your ceremony is the best decision you can make. She’s personable, articulate, and has an easy-going charm that will put any last worries at ease on the day of your wedding. I'd recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat (and already have to my newly engaged friends!). She'll make your ceremony a beautiful one, and you’ll remember it forever!
