The wedding ceremony is an important rite of passage and milestone in one's life and one of the most important elements of each couple's wedding day. I work closely with each couple to create a personal and meaningful ceremony that best reflects who they are and what their hopes and dreams are for their marriage. Each couple is unique and their wedding ceremony should be a reflection of that uniqueness! I guide each couple through the whole process of getting their marriage license, envisioning and crafting their ideal ceremony, selecting or writing their vows and providing ideas and samples for unique rituals. I welcome all creativity, fun and thoughtfulness! After the wedding, I provide comprehensive information on the paperwork required for any name change and legal documents. As a seminary trained and ordained Interfaith Minister and Chaplain, I am uniquely qualified to perform spiritual, secular or religious ceremonies according to each couple's belief system, as well as family and cultural traditions. I can help with ceremony staging and rehearsal direction and work cooperatively with planners, photographers, videographers and DJ's. Each ceremony I have officiated has been unique and special; weddings in the woods, on the beach, in intimate and grand chapels, with kids and dogs, and even donkeys and peacocks! Traditional, offbeat, earthy, nerdy, short and sweet, casual or formal ceremonies - I love them all and thrive on the diversity of the couples I serve. Although I do not require pre-marital counseling to officiate a wedding ceremony, I do recommend it and offer it. My mission is to listen closely to each partner about what they do and do not want in their ceremony. To honor all cultural, spiritual, religious and secular worldviews, backgrounds, traditions and belief systems. To think through all logistics and craft a personal, sacred and meaningful ceremony.
