For 15 years, I’ve had the honor of standing beside more than 1,800 couples as they promised their hearts to one another—each love story unique, each ceremony a once-in-a-lifetime moment.
I welcome ALL couples—Non-religious, Religious, Spiritual, Interfaith, LGBTQ+, wherever your heart leads you—because love knows no boundaries. My role is to listen to your vision, honor your beliefs, and craft a ceremony that reflects your love for each other.
When we work together, I’ll guide you through the entire process with care. You will receive a customized first draft filled with wording options that capture the heart of your story. Keep only what resonates—because beyond the legal “I do’s” and Pronouncement, every detail is yours to create.
Whether your ceremony is an elopement under a starlit sky, a small gathering in a quiet garden, or at a fancy venue with all your family and friends, it will be filled with meaning, beauty, and joy.
As a seminary-trained (2-year program) and ordained Interfaith Minister, I honor all paths. The legal authorization, as per Pennsylvania's strict marriage laws, allows me the privilege and responsibility of being fully licensed in all 50 states and territories. Your marriage license will always be valid with my signature.

I was born and raised in the heart of Lancaster County, PA, and it’s still the place I call home. My background is in Social Work and Communications, and I’ve had the honor of serving as a hospice chaplain—an experience that deepened my compassion and appreciation for life’s meaningful moments. When I’m not with my family (including my little grandson, who keeps my heart full), I dive into writing. Creative storytelling brings me joy, and I’m currently bringing several books to life.

I love what I get to do for a living and words do not fully express my gratitude to all my couples and fellow wedding professionals who bring so much love into my life. This journey began in 2010 a few weeks after I graduated from an Interfaith Seminary and was formally ordained. Never did I expect that first wedding to make such an impact on my life and my career. In the sacred moment of their vows, I found my passion for weddings and have officiated ever since. When I'm not busy with weddings and family, I also enjoy Hallmark love movies, nature, dancing, singing, and creative writing.

Kelly Jo helped us create a personalized and poignant ceremony, expressing our love and union. She even included a part for my husband's 4-year-old son to come up and we all made family promises to each other.
The ceremony was beautiful and afterward Kelly Jo came down to tell us how much she enjoyed officiating it! We equally enjoyed her officiating it! We couldn't have asked for anyone better.

ears ago and after a pandemic and a postponement, she guided and supported us through the entire experience. We knew that we wanted a heartfelt ceremony and Kelly helped us craft just that! She provides so many options to choose from and truly customize the ceremony to each couples love story. Not only did our ceremony bring tears to our eyes, but it provoked such sweet emotion from every single guest in attendance. Kelly is truly the most professional officiant we have ever seen, and we would wholeheartedly recommend her to any couple in search of an incredible officiant.

to COVID restrictions, Rev. Kelly graciously still made time for us on our original date to marry us in front of a few family members two days after a pretty big snow storm! We appreciate greatly that we were still able to keep our wedding date and it would have never happened with Rev. Kelly! We plan on doing it all over again in April so everyone can share in the joy of our marriage ceremony but we did not have to wait months to become husband and wife because of Rev. Kelly. She did everything in her power to make sure we were married. And I could never thank her enough!

gious, and she prepared the most beautiful vows for us to exchange that focused on our love for each other. She was very responsive and exceptionally helpful with offering advice on how to obtain our marriage license virtual since the courthouse was closed to the public due to COVID-19 and current CDC guidelines. She responsibly kept her distance during the ceremony and everything went off without a hitch. It was the perfect day for us, and she helped bring it all together!

My favorite part was the reflections she reads and they were actually letters sent to Kelly about why you love the other person and she doesn't read them till the ceremony. It was beautiful! Not a dry eye in the place!!!

d how it all started for her is so heart warming and it is easily seen how passionate she is about her work. We knew we didn't want anyone else to marry us.
Kelly gave us multiple options for our ceremony layout, where we could customize it as much as we wanted to and make it ours. When the day came, the ceremony was so perfect and exactly what we wanted, it moved my husband and I to tears and I don't think there was a dry eye in the room.
I know Kelly has done a lot of weddings and has seem many couples say "I do" but she felt like a close friend and we could see how happy and excited she was for us. Kelly made our day exactly what we envisioned, and I couldn't imagine having anyone else marry us!!
