with writing up our ceremony, she added such important aspects of me and my husbands lives and just put the perfect little touches into it. She gave me great ideas while planning out the ceremony and made me feel comfortable about changing things last minute if I wanted to. Kris is extremely professional yet I felt like she was a friend and a shoulder to lean on throughout the planning process. During the pandemic, she was one out of few people who remained hopeful that my husband and I will have our special day. Kris has really proved that love will find its way. I am so happy that she really made our ceremony so perfect, a week later and my friends and family are still talking about how great she was and how amazing my ceremony turned out. Personally, my husband and I are not too religious, but my grandmother was and my husbands family is. Therefore, I felt it was necessary to mention god and say a prayer during the ceremony. Kris fulfilled that perfectly! I forgot to mention, even when it came down to getting our marriage license, Kris not only wrote an entire email explaining the process but she even sent us a reminder. She worked so well with my wedding planner and other vendors. There’s just so many great things about Kris to even mention. If your ceremony is going to be as important to you and your significant other, as it was to my husband and I - - look no further! You have found your officiant!

er. During our initial conversation, my husband and I really felt like we connected with her. She was empathetic, asked great questions about us and our relationship, and all around had amazing energy. After booking with Kris, she was extremely professional - she checked in regularly and communicated clearly. It was very easy to work with her! The ceremony she had written for us - was soulful and incorporated so many of the aspects of our backgrounds/culture/family/personalities that it distinctly felt like "us". Given the circumstances with COVID, we unfortunately had to postpone our original June 2020 wedding date and Kris did a wonderful job of calling/texting/emailing to check in on us. She was flexible and extremely empathetic to the situation. With so much uncertainty given the pandemic, my husband and I decided to have a very small, intimate ceremony and we asked if Kris could be a part of our special day. Kris recommended a beautiful location in Spring Lake and the plan went off seamlessly. She followed all the CDC guidelines and was extremely thoughtful in that regard. The day ended up being everything we could've really hoped or asked for. The ceremony felt personal, full of love and sentimental. We feel extremely blessed that Kris was able to be a part of our special day and could not recommend her more highly!

the Knot. I knew when Taylor and I first met you that you were the perfect officiant match for us! We had our initial meeting with Kris and everything went so smoothly. Yes, we talked about how Taylor and I met, what we're doing for our wedding, etc., but we also talked as if we had been friends for years! We just clicked! From there, she got our wedding ceremony out to us very quickly (we had it over a year in advance). The first time I read it, I cried. Kris has such a natural talent. We waited until about 1 month before the wedding to meet with her again when we had things finalized. Instead of a finalization meeting, it truly just felt like we were grabbing coffee with a friend. Per my request, she came to our rehearsal dinner. At this time, she filled out all of the paperwork so we didn't have to worry about it wedding day. She honestly fit in so well with our family and friends that night. Taylor and I were so nervous to read our personal vows, but Kris does everything to make you feel comfortable. She reads your vows before the wedding day and has tissues up at the altar just in case. I read the ceremony a million times before the wedding day, and on the wedding day I was still speechless hearing it. It was honestly the most beautiful wedding ceremony I have ever heard (I could be biased, but even my guests said so)! Kris is the perfect officiant for anyone. She is so talented and can create a beautiful ceremony for any occasion. I promise you will not be disappointed!

And, although we had met with another officiant prior, and had one more set up after, we knew we didn't have to look any further. We had found "the one". The role of your officiant is a crucial one. They can make or break the start of your marriage journey, and when Kris spent over an hour with us on the phone, I knew we made the right decision. She just got us. She was genuine, and fully invested. Somehow, she manages to prepare a ceremony that is truly "you". It is not cookie cutter, it is not like every other, and you are not "just another client". You are her priority, and you feel that way too. I remember choosing Kris because of all the questions she asked. She asks you about yourself, your relationship, asks for stories, and really listens to what's important to you. It sounds silly, but no one else did that. Others rushed us, gave us sample ceremonies to choose from, and didn't ask a single question. Instead, i remember one telling me "I'm top rated on the knot so if you don't book with me right now then you prob wont get me". We left that meting laughing at the audacity. What was important to us was not who was "top rated" but who got us, and would do our love story justice. The first draft Kris gave us, moved us both to tears. It once again confirmed what we already knew...we picked the right officiant. The words written were so us, described our love perfectly, and really had us relive why we wanted to get married. She was always responsive to our emails with questions or quick edits and sent us reminders and thorough instructions about how to apply for our marriage license (one less thing to worry about)! On the day of the wedding, Kris arrived an hour ahead of time to go over some last minute details and then officiated the beautiful ceremony she wrote for us. She took the time to ask us about our story and what we wanted in our ceremony, and we really felt like we “clicked” immediately with her. Kris had excellent suggestions for wording and rituals within the ceremony that really helped us make our decisions. We didn’t even need to talk about it afterwards, we were both in agreement to retain her services within the consult call! After that, Kris quickly drafted her ceremony script and provided us with a copy so we could make sure everything was perfect. Her script was beautiful, and we teared up while reading it because she captured the story of our relationship so wonderfully. The day of the wedding, Kris arrived and was such a calming presence in such a hectic atmosphere. The ceremony went exactly as we discussed, and my wife and I couldn’t have been any happier with how it turned out.
