Not only were his reviews excellent, but from our first conversation on FaceTime, we were very impressed with Reverend Whalen’s professionalism, attention to detail, focus, guidance, and expertise. All of that made our decision very easy! From the very start, Reverend Whalen was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and very quick to respond whenever we had questions. His ceremony structure is perfect and customizable to how you want it to flow. We incorporated everything we wanted to, including memorials and a rose ceremony for our moms. He helped us figure out the kind of ceremony we wanted to and what we even wanted to be included because at first we weren’t sure, but Reverend Whalen’s guidance proved to be perfect to help us build our ceremony. At the wedding itself, he smoothly took care of everything and did a wonderful job with the ceremony itself. And he has a calming voice too so that helped take away some nerves when we stood up there in front of of everyone! But all in all we would 10/10 recommend working with Reverend Whalen - he helped make our day perfect and helped us craft the perfect ceremony for us.

One of the best things, we had a unity ceremony, taking tequila shots together. He came up with a wonderful speech on how love and marriage are like a fine tequila. It was perfect and the guests loved it. Throughout the entire process Michael was everything we hoped for and more. He arrived early before the ceremony, had the marriage license filled out and signed by witnesses. The ceremony itself was exactly what we wanted, he was an excellent speaker and flowed through the ceremony, did the selected readings, our tequila shot unity ceremony. It went off perfectly. Within a couple of days, he sent us a draft of his proposed ceremony, offered suggestions and encouraged us to make any changes that would make the ceremony more reflective of us. He was so kind as to even say a few words and sentences in Spanish and Arabic so that all our guests felt like a part of the ceremony. When we met Rev. Mike in person on our wedding day, he gave us a hug and even asked to meet our parents to offer his genuine congratulations. All our guests were really complimentary of the ceremony.
