rvous going into the process of finding the right officiant as we haven't built any solid relationships with one yet and we did not want to go the friend or family route as we wanted a more traditional ceremony. We met Rob over zoom initially and he made us feel comfortable and excited to have him as an integral part of our day. From that day forward we knew we wanted to work with him. We then met in person where we hammered out all the details of the ceremony and it was so easy with his guidance. Not only did he keep it traditional he added a very good personal touch including the story of how we met and a few of our goofs along the way. Many of our guest came up to us after the ceremony asking " Where did you find him!? He did so good!!" And when the time came for us to stand at the altar with Rob, he brought another level of professionalism, kindness, and humor that set the tone for the attendees and made us feel as relaxed and happy as possible. In addition, his tone and approach acknowledged the importance of religion and spirituality without one faith or tradition taking precedence over another. That was significant to us, as we had family members from Protestant, Jewish, and Catholic backgrounds. Rob made all of us feel welcome.

We are non religious and Rob catered to our every request, and went above and beyond with every detail. He made our ceremony so personalized and so special. If you need an officiant who cares, and you want your ceremony done right- you have to hire Rob! We also hired Rob for family funeral services as well. Regardless of the moment, he makes it special, personalized and he becomes apart of your family.

This was something that I was initially struggling with when choosing an officiant because I didn’t want just anyone to marry us. My fiancé and I wanted someone to marry us who was an ordained minister and someone who felt like a friend. This is exactly what we found in Reverend Rob. We met Reverend Rob over Zoom initially and chose to pursue pre-marital counseling with him before the big day. Not only did this give us an opportunity to get to know each other better, but Reverend Rob offered valuable insight and tools to strengthen our marriage, and even took the time to meet us in person during our trips out to Arizona, which meant a lot to us. During our meetings, Reverend Rob asked great questions with a genuine interest in getting to know us and the type of ceremony we were looking for. He listened intently and developed the most beautiful wedding address that fit us perfectly. He offered to attend the rehearsal, which was so lovely, because his presence offers a sense of calmness. He guided us through the ceremony and gave us great insight on how to calm our nerves for the big day. Overall, Reverend Rob is simply the best, not only as an officiant but just as a person. You only have to meet him once to see that he has a heart of gold and a genuine interest in the well-being and happiness of others. I’ll always remember him and the way he made us feel each every time we were with him.

Thankfully, I came upon Rev Rob through a Google search and from our first conversation, my then-fiancé and I felt we’d gotten lucky. He is one of those types of people that make you feel understood – so much so that at one point it brought me to tears. My husband is Hindu by upbringing and I’m Episcopalian so we did two ceremonies, one Hindu and one Christian. Rob’s son’s wedding was conducted in much the same way so it was almost as if it was fate that we’d found him. Rob really took the time to get to know our relationship and he scripted a beautiful ceremony that we felt really reflected our vision. He even participated in my husband’s baraat (groom’s procession) before the ceremony. He was also very understanding about our postponement because of COVID – our wedding in Colorado was postponed a year, during which he moved to Arizona, yet he still made our new date work.
