My goal is to make your ceremony planning process fun, romantic, memorable, and stress-free. You can expect to find me personable, prompt, knowledgeable, experienced, and open-minded. This is YOUR ceremony and just like your relationship, it should be crafted to reflect your values, spiritual needs (or non-spiritual), heritage, hopes and dreams, and your love story! In addition to weddings, I officiate baby blessings & vow renewals. If you need a quick signing of a marriage license with no ceremony, I offer a "Get Hitched Quick" service in the Port Jeff area. I now also provide virtual weddings and marriage license signings.

very aspect of our ceremony, presented us with ideas and unique approaches that people are still talking about. Every person that attended has shared with us different components of the wedding that resonated with them (many to the point of tears, laughter, or both. She even gave us the idea to reveal our baby’s gender during the ceremony with colored sand which blew people’s minds. It was so special and it was all her. She has an incredibly calming presence, her humor is natural and universal. Nothing that she does feels forced or out of place.
We were so lucky to have had Sarah as our officiant. I’ve been in many weddings, attended many weddings, and I can without the slightest hesitation say with certainty that she is the best I have seen. Her professionalism, punctuality, organizational skills, writing, speech, amiability, attention to detail, and creativity put her in a class of her own.
It is easy to see that she loves what she does and her personality is the icing on the cake. We basically sprung our wedding on her a couple weeks before and you would think she had a year to prepare seeing the final product of her work. She will make your day special and you will go into it feeling confident just knowing she’ll be standing up there with you. We were so blessed to have her saying she was a “hit” is a huge understatement. She will craft you an unforgettable ceremony and make it literally whatever you want it to be. I cannot imagine there is another human being more deserving of the highest level of recognition that officiant’s are honored with. She told our love story so perfectly. You can trust in her. We did and she was the catalyst of a day I will remember for the rest of my life and I know my wife feels the same way.
Do yourself a favor and hire her so that you too will have people telling you how unforgettable and special your day was. She is the Yoda of officiants. If I didn’t have work in the morning I would fill every space of this review box because that is the amount of effort she puts in and her participation and presence was truly priceless. Since we live on the west coast, we skype interviewed our officiants to make sure we had someone who we clicked with. And what was supposed to be a 30-60 min interview turned into a 2+ hour conversation of laughter and emotions. She was just amazing from the start. While I am a very outgoing person and getting my thoughts and feelings is very easy, she was even able to work incredibly well with my introverted husband. She made us feel completely at ease, like a friend we've known for years. She then took everything we talked about and turned it into something we could share with our loved ones. The first time I read through our ceremony, I cried. And on the day of our wedding during our ceremony, I did it again. Most people only get complimented on how beautiful their ceremony was (if they get complimented at all), but so many of our guests told us how touching it was and how much of us was in every detail. . In the interviews we found the others to be either boring, pompous or kind of rude, or a mix of all three. Sarah was warm and inviting from the beginning, and she never suggested the ceremony was about her and her words but was adamant that the ceremony was 100% about us and our love. And that came shining through on our day. Even my mother, who was disappointed we did not get married in a church, said it was the most personal, beautiful ceremony she had ever witnessed. When an Italian mother forgets about a Priest marrying you and brags to her friends about your "super special ceremony," that's when you know your officiant was special!
Sarah was easy to work with and was always available by Skype, phone or email as we don't live on LI. I especially liked her building the ceremony around our "love story" and the flexibility to make the ceremony as religious and spiritual or non-denominational as we wished. She provided a ton of different readings, poems and ideas to include in the ceremony and it was so easy to tweak and tailor it as we wanted.. We also didn't want a long ceremony and tried to keep it under 20 minutes. Despite it being a bit shorter than most, it was not rushed nor did Sarah skimp on "quality." We were also able to add in things that let our personalities shine through, like having family and friends surprise us with readings and a "Warming of the Rings" ceremony so all 4 parents were involved.
So many friends and family approached us right afterwards and told us how much they loved the ceremony and how special it was. We have been reliving random moments from the ceremony for the last month, and can't thank Sarah enough for the amazing memories she has given us and our families. We highly recommend her.

could have been a stressful and difficult planning experience with our time constraints turned out to be an absolute pleasure because of Sarah! She was so quick to respond every time we needed anything, and she genuinely cared about our "Love Story". When we met with her to go over our story it was such an enjoyable experience, we decided to continue to go over what we love about each other regularly privately. :)
Before the Ceremony began, she came in to the room where the Wedding party was trying to get organized and took over with getting everyone together. We did not have time for a rehearsal prior (and I don't know too much about weddings myself!), and she did a phenomenal job with such a quick line up to get us out there as we were running a few minutes behind.

Since then, I have officiated over 400 ceremonies & have met many wonderful couples whom I now call friends. I have been honored with The Knot's Best of Weddings Award for the past 4 years, featured on TV & worked alongside celebrity wedding planners. These great honors allowed me to expand my business & welcome on three associates.
