Rev. Scott Awbrey is a Colorado wedding officiant who performs weddings in Denver and along the Front Range, and throughout Colorado, including Colorado Springs, Estes Park, Aspen, Vail, Breckenridge, Steamboat Springs, Grand Lake and other Rocky Mountain sites. With more than 25 years of experience, this nondenominational minister and wedding officiant has assisted hundreds of couples with their wedding. He performs ceremonies that are religious, spiritual, or - as many couples want - "spiritual, but not religious." He makes each wedding as meaningful and fun as the couple would like. Every ceremony is personalized, highlighting the couple's love story and celebrating the joy in their hearts and the promises of their marriage. But ALL OUR FEARS VANISHED when he began to speak to our guests in preparation for and prior to the entrance of the bride and groom. Rev. Scott gave the most personal and touching ceremony any of our 115 guests had ever been to. He took his time and didn't rush their story or vows. It was a 45 minute ceremony filled with laughter at his humor, tears because of his tenderness in telling their story and his acknowledgement of the support they have received their entire life by loving family and friends, and the shear joy at our daughter and finance's expression on their faces of love for each other. I am a wedding officiant and nondenominational minister and have performed hundreds of weddings. I love supporting couples in creating a ceremony that honors their love story and the promises of their marriage. In addition to my wedding work, I have also served as a minister, counselor and chaplain, and I volunteer for a local community kitchen. I like to bike, play tennis, hike, and meditate, all of which keeps me ready to do the work I love.
