When I read about Deborah on her website, I knew she was the one. She took the time to get to know me and my husband. She was very patient, as I don't know a lot about weddings or how it works. t. When we first contacted Deborah, she scheduled a meeting with us to see if we were a good fit. We ended up staying for over three hours, chatting, laughing and sharing our story. We hadn't even booked her at this point and the fact that she took that kind of time out of her schedule to be with us sealed the deal completely. She is very strict about getting her questionnaire filled out in a timely fashion and than GOODNESS. The ceremony is so important and having a deadline really forced us to sit down and provide thoughtful answers. I'm so glad I didn't leave this to the last minute as the weeks leading up to the wedding were fairly hectic. The questions are thorough and she really allows you to customize your ceremony to exactly what you want as well as gives the opportunity for you to provide enough information for her to craft sentimental and personalized parts as well. The ceremony itself was amazing it was everything I had hoped and more. Our guests kept asking how we knew her and were blown away when we said that we just met her when we hired her! Everything was all about my husband and I- she made us all laugh and cry it was such a special moment we will always remember. Thank you Deborah!!

She gave us the idea of a wedding ceremony box filled with memorabilia and letters to each other on our wedding day and letters we are supposed to open at various times in our marriage. I felt really comfortable working with Deborah, she was always professional, and she worked diligently on her creativity for the ceremony. She had a lot of tips and recommendations that I found very helpful to make the ceremony beautiful. She can easily be reached by phone, email, or in person. It's coming up 1 year for our wedding anniversary. I still daydream about how beautiful the ceremony was and how our guest gave us feedback some of their favorite moments of us during the ceremony.

hough we had visited our venue, we had never met Deborah in person until the day before the wedding. From the first phone call (over an hour) we felt as if we were speaking with an old friend. Deborah made us feel soo comfortable and was incredibly thorough with her questionnaire - which of course helped her formulate the perfect ceremony. She was always available to us via phone, email or video conference. On our special day, she made all of our guests feel welcome and comfortable and was graceful and natural in her delivery. Although we are not particularly religious ourselves, we both had a Christian upbringing and she was able to infuse just the right amount of spirituality, blessings and prayer. I can't imagine a better person to have helped us through this sometimes stressful and anxiety-ridden planning process. Thank you Deborah for making our wedding complete with memories we will always hold in our heart!

The Reverend chuckled and then went with it to provide a ceremony that women cried over and had guys saying they loved every minute of it. We were definitely all laughing at times! I appreciate how light hearted she was, and would acknowledge environmental noises instead of awkwardly continuing through. For example, when a plane flew over and she made a positive comment about it, or when our dog was groaning she gave him a little caption which was so cute. We absolutely loved her and would highly recommend her! She was extremely organized and helped us get our ceremony finalized and vows ("love writings") written months before the wedding, which was huge! It was tough to do at the time, but it was smart of her to get it done early because it would have been a lot harder to write the love writings the month of the wedding when everything gets crazy! I absolutely loved her!

Reverend Young paused the ceremony, stated "you need a hug", and suggested that the couple take a moment to embrace each other. I have played for ceremonies for over 20 years, and I have never seen an officiant who was so attuned to what a couple needed. She gave them the priceless opportunity to relax, take a breath, and to turn and look at their family and friends who were there to support them on their special day! She clearly loves what she does, and you can feel her devotion to making the ceremony special, personal, and unforgettable for both the bride and groom and their guests. I recommend her most highly!

such a special ceremony so thank you Deborah! An added bonus for me was coming home before the ceremony having had my make up done and my eyes looked totally overdone! I did not know the makeup artist had used waterproof makeup and I had no time to scrape it all off. I called Deborah to ask if she knew of some tone down tricks and she saved my day with some helpful hints. I have had the pleasure of knowing her for years. Her forms used to put together our ceremony were so thorough and screamed experience were very much a great tool to have. From our first face to face meeting (only 2 days before the wedding) to the day of I was so at ease knowing that I had cleary made the right choice in hiring the services of Deborah. And she delivered as expected on the day. We had many comments and compliments after the ceremony on how enjoyable it was. She kept the flow going, gave us plenty of moment to take everything in so it didn't feel rushed, was patient and understanding at us having our 17month old running around which made everyone laugh and smile. Her attention to detail even went as far as making sure she was dressed not only in the right colors but the right shade of color too. Young is the perfect combination of practical knowledge and flexibility. She will give you suggestions to make your ceremony personal and unique, but lets you choose what you wish to include or leave out. She is extremely easygoing and accommodating, and she will gently guide you through all steps of the process. We’re so glad that we found Rev. Young. We cannot praise her enough, and we truly appreciate how she made our ceremony so special. It was just perfect.

In leading up to the "Big Day" she shared many wedding and martial tips with us and spent much time preparing and personalizing all of our ceremony elements. Many guests shared with us that it was the most heartfelt and loving ceremony that they had ever attended. There was not a dry eye amongst the guests - and of course my fiance and I shared many happy tears as well. Something I really appreciated was that Deborah prompted my fiance and I to share a hug before the vows took place as we were just oozing with love and it was really comforting to be able to just reach out and give a hug as you naturally would do with the one you love. ;) She also really encouraged us through the ceremony to soak in everything around us from the smiling faces, to the ocean breeze, to the sounds of birds. I can transport myself back there right now and it brings happy tears to my eyes.
