The moment I spoke with her I knew she would be a great fit for our wedding. She radiated warmth, friendliness, compassion, and a wealth of experience and knowledge every time I contacted her. She even worked with me to add more creative ideas and personalization to our ceremony. She helped our rehearsal practice flow more smoothly and eased my mind for the ceremony to come the next day. We had a Harry Potter themed wedding and she delightfully surprised us by wearing a Gryffindor scarf with her officiant robe and by announcing us as Mr. and Mrs. with the magical flick of her wand. We also greatly appreciated the work she put into reading our ceremony. Standing at the altar, it was apparent she had studied the material and had prepared with appropriate pauses and inflections. She did not just simply stand and read the scripting, she infused it with life and gave each word a powerful meaning of its own. I cannot emphasis enough how much that meant to me. I wanted our scripting to feel familiar and flow like a traditional wedding ceremony but be completely, uniquely ours in word and tone. If delivered without this understanding our scripting had the potential to sound silly or not as meaningful. However, I am so happy to say that LuAnne understood the subtleties I had envisioned and paired it with authenticity and reverence. Simply said, she did a beautiful job. LuAnne accepted our invitation to stay for our rehearsal and joined our party as a welcomed guest. Before she left for the evening she surprised us once again with a beautiful copy of our ceremony scripting for a keep sake we will cherish for years to come knowing it was the copy she used to start us on our new journey together. I encourage anyone considering LuAnne to book her immediately. She was a pleasure to work with and felt more like a well know, dear friend marrying us than a hired officiant.
