Our officiant was so lovely on the day of, and the process of creating the ceremony was easy and stress-free.
We had the concept of what we wanted so she provided readings and ...sample ceremonies that she felt were similar or relevant to our style and preferences. This helped us shape our ideas into a ceremony, something we had no idea how to do. When we got stuck she brought us back to the purpose of what we were doing, which helped get us going in the right direction again. She was very patient and understanding.
During the rehearsal you could see that she knew her stuff. And during the ceremony she was perfect. She told us that she would be saying something to us during the ceremony, the content of which we wouldn't know until that moment. I won't reveal what she said, but it was poignant and moving and will stick with us forever.
She rolled with it when the groom made a joke, and when thunder rumbled in the distance as we said our vows. She was professional, struck a beautiful tone, and had a great sense of humor. I highly recommend the Reverend Pamela Anderegg.
