Located in the heart of Dripping Springs, The Wedding Capital of Texas, The Liney Moon is a unique wedding venue and boutique hotel/vacation rental close to all of the amazing attractions of the famed Texas Hill Country! Situated on a secluded eight-acre gated property with a modern chapel, indoor and outdoor spaces, brand new pool, fire pit, yard games, and plenty more, couples will be wowed by this destination!
The Liney Moon can host up to 150 people for your engagement party, wedding shower, rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception. The newly-built Scandinavian-design "Moon Chapel" with a hill country wooded backdrop serves as the perfect place to say your 'I dos' among your friends and family. Experience your momentous occasion surrounded by nature, owing to the simple, modern industrial-style architecture and open-air feel of the space.
In addition to the chapel, the property can also sleep up to 60 people across three sections of the property including the main "Stellar House", the 10 "Horseshoe Cottages", and the 3 tiny home "Triplets". The Stellar House offers the perfect location for an intimate wedding or engagement celebration, with sleek, open concept indoor common space, an inviting outdoor kitchen, huge covered patio, yard games, fire pit, and swimming pool. The Stellar House also offers the perfect lodging for your wedding party or family with sleeping capacity for 22 people. The 10 Horseshoe Cottages and 3 Triplet tiny homes offer private accommodations for up to an additional 40 of your closest friends and family so that they can stay close to the action for your entire wedding weekend!
At The Liney Moon, you're welcome to design your perfect celebration any way you would like including designing the spaces, bringing in your own vendors, using different parts of the property, etc. We can provide recommended well-regarded, local vendors of any type, but we promote flexibility and privacy above all. Feel free to bring and incorporate your furry friends as well!

y space is beautiful. The back patio is amazing with so much room we were able to fit 90 guests, a 5 piece live band, and a full catering team. The land itself is beautiful and it allowed us to have the entire wedding weekend in one stunning location where our guests had the freedom to hang out on site or go and explore Dripping Springs and the surrounding area. 5 star wedding venue!
The actual rooms and living situation is why we are giving The Liney Moon a 4 star review. Throughout the weekend our guests had to take cold showers (including the bride hours before the ceremony), there were some structural issues with one of the spaces that caused a safety fiasco on the very first night of our stay, however the management team was very willing to fix the issue quickly. And our communication with the property manager was sometimes excellent and sometimes took days and follow up messages to get an answer we needed. It did not always feel like a luxurious hill country hotel that doubles as an event venue. 3 star hotel experience.
The primary suite comes with a steamer, hair dryer, a great spot to get ready. And the Kitchen was an amazing space to use to make our big Sunday brunch and for our caterers to utilize for our reception dinner.
Despite a few issues, it still is a great spot to gather all of your loved ones over multiple days to celebrate and connect with. But for the prices they are asking, you deserve to know what to expect, good and bad, going into your event.

- it was absolutely perfect! The horseshoe cabins are adorable and private, and the triplets are perfect for families. The Stellar house slept my entire family, and was a great place for me and my girls to get ready the day of the wedding. The ceremony site is BEAUTIFUL and you don't need much decor because it's stunning just the way it is. The Stellar house also made an amazing reception area. We served the food buffet inside the large kitchen and set the tables in the yard, and the porch was the dance floor. We loved everything about The Liney Moon, and want to return with all of our friends and family again!

g. We did our rehearsal dinner onsite - which couldn't have been more perfect. The property is GORGEOUS. We worked with Dillon who was so gracious to let us take 2 tours prior to our weekend to ensure we felt confident and prepared going into our weekend! Our friends and family were as impressed as we were with the immaculate decor and overall thought that had gone into the layout of the house and cottages. The outdoor gathering areas were large enough for up to 50 people and easily more (with proper planning). There was a Foosball table that everyone LOVED along with washers and bags that kept our guests entertained, during the day everyone was sunbathing and swimming in the pool. It's small, but does the trick if you're trying to cool off! We've already decided that this is where we will rent and celebrate milestone anniversaries! and the 10 cabins were in final stage of construction. Over that next 15 months, they added an additional three 6 person cabins and a pool. We were able to have our rehearsal dinner there with ~70 people, and the kids loved the pool. There was plenty of room to cook without having people in the way. The cabins were so cute and comfortable for those with kids or older adults who didn’t want to be in the party house. I used one of the 6 person cabins as my bridal suite and it worked perfectly. We had a full kitchen to enjoy snacks and mimosas as my bridesmaids and I got our hair and makeup done. I can’t wait to stay there again whenever we visit Dripping Springs!

eekend. We envisioned a location that would allow most of the guests to stay the weekend and pictured it as a fun weekend where we happen to get married in the middle of it. We found that with The Liney Moon. It was absolutely perfect! Caroline and Dillon were both amazing and easy to work with and really let us have the freedom to achieve our dream wedding. We had about 32 people stay the whole weekend and had 45 people at the wedding so it was just the right amount. All of the guests talked about how perfect the whole place was! We had our ceremony under the pergola between the cottages and then had the reception in the "backyard" of the Steller House. I really can't say anything bad about The Liney Moon, it was perfect!

party stayed the weekend; and we rented out all of the cabins for family and close friends. Caroline obviously put a lot of thought into this location and the setup and it shows! At the end of the weekend I just wanted to stay and move in, it had the level of comfort you would have at home. We had quite a rowdy group of people at the house and in the cabins but you could still sneak away and have some quiet time in your room and just relax! Finding and booking this location for our wedding was a blessing and I am so happy that we were able to stay in such a relaxing and comfortable house! The cabins were in walking distance of the house so everyone would come down to the house for breakfast and sit at the large patio space!
