We loved working with Chas and his wife Barbara, and are so glad we chose them for our wedding. I cannot say enough positive things about working with Chas and Barbara; they were delightful to work with from our first phone call to the end of our wedding reception. ReVrb's online platform allowed us to keep Chas up-to-date on our timeline, our 'must-have' songs, and the general vibe we were trying achieve. He combined our input with the realities of our (relatively small) venue and put together a perfect party for us. It was fun and engaging without being too intense for the space. Several of our guests commented that they haven't had that much fun dancing since for a long time, especially at a wedding. Perhaps most importantly though, Chas and Barbara were so easy to work with. As with all wedding receptions, we had our share of uncertainty and chaos, and they handled it brilliantly. They were flexible, communicative, and created a fun, relaxed atmosphere. If we ever have a need for a DHJ, ReVrb will be our first call.

We absolutely loved working with ReVrb Sound. Chas and Barbara—they are a perfect DJ team! Not only are they both super fun and professional in person, the software Chas uses for song requests was super easy to use! We had the absolute pleasure of having them for 2 nights in a row, as we booked them for a post rehearsal Karaoke Party, and then of course for our wedding day. The karaoke night was a blast, and we had so many folks saying, “this is the most fun rehearsal celebration ever!” Our wedding was no different. The second Chas said “dance floor is open” guests flooded the floor, and Chas kept guests dancing all night! Both are lovable, super easy to work with, and I definitely recommend them for any of your dance floor (and karaoke) needs.

Don't think twice, just book ReVrb! DJ Chas did a phenomenal job for our wedding reception and was professional and easy to work with throughout the process. We had a long reception and the dance floor was full all night! Chas was easy to work with from the beginning, with a transparent and easy-to-use web portal that we could add to over time when it was convenient for us. He was communicative and reliable about the process, letting us know well in advance what to expect, when to meet, and providing suggestions when needed. Prior to the wedding, he put together curated playlists for our review for the cocktail hour and dinner, and was very responsive to our feedback, making last-minute changes as needed. On the night of, he read the room perfectly and turned our short list of song requests into four hours of dancing. He was very organized with the evening's schedule and kept everything running smoothly with appropriate brief announcements, keeping the focus on the couple and the dancing. And he was an incredibly nice person, easygoing and great to work with! Definitely recommend, and will be working with him again for any other DJ needs in the future!

ReVrb Sound did an extraordinarily job at my wedding at Villa Olivia in Bartlett on Saturday. He was very patient and considerate during the whole process. His website is the best. So easy to put in dedications, announcements and songs. Sound and volume were perfect. Could choose all my songs for 5 hours. Got the party started and kept going. My wife (then fiancé) had Chas recommended to her by a friend. After we met with him and talked about what we wanted for our wedding, I knew he'd not only deliver, but that we made the right call in hiring Chas. Chas immediately "got" us as a couple, and understood our music tastes and goals for the wedding. He had the patience of a saint leading up to our big day after we kept procrastinating giving him our playlist recommendations, and even helped us cut together two songs for our first dance. Chas did a fantastic job for our wedding last summer! His online portal made it easy to communicate and he was great to work with throughout the process. I didn’t have an event planner because I hate the spotlight and wanted to keep the itinerary as simple as possible but we ended up adding a few components at the last moment and he knew exactly what to do. He coordinated with the venue and other vendors proactively and it all went very smoothly with no tech issues… he even went out of his way to get a ladder moved out of the guest area when he noticed that it was left behind by the hotel staff which shouldn’t have been his hassle to deal with. He really cared about looking out for us and making it a good experience. The dance floor was a blast and several friends asked for his contact because they wanted to book him for their dates! I hired Chas for my wedding based off a recommendation from my wedding coordinator - and I was NOT let down! From the first initial meeting, throughout all the planning, and then finally seeing the end product, Chas was nothing short of a true pleasure to work with. If you are looking for someone who puts customer service first, has the best taste in music, knows how to keep the dance floor packed all night, and exceeds all expectations - Chas is your guy. After interviewing a few other DJ's for our wedding reception, we knew Chas was going to be our guy within the first 5 minutes of the intro phone call. He took the time to get to know and figure out our vibe rather than explaining what time of vibe he brings (As other larger companies did). His website was setup so that we could very easily put together our ceremony, reception and even the final songs. He showed up for our walk through and made sure that he was prepared for our big day. He was able to read the room and played non-stop crowd pleasers throughout the night. We had some off the wall requests that Chas was able to take in stride and made even more fun. We included the digital display, and this gave our guests the opportunity to see some of our own photos prior to the ceremony and during cocktail hour, as well as sharing some of their own as the night progressed. These photos have been the most fun to look back at afterward. He and his team were able to create some special moments for us that we will never forget, through encouraging folks to get out on the dance floor with us, and by capturing some of the late night dancing. Highly recommend hiring Chas to take care of any of your events.

ReVrb was fantastic to work with! When contracting with them, they explained their process really well for information/preference gathering, and their process was very easy through their user portal. After the final consulation before the wedding, my (new) wife and I felt very confident that the DJ would be playing the music we wanted and how we wanted it. The wedding went smoothly, and the DJ used his professional experience and intuition to keep everyone dancing and having a great time! Also very important and often overlooked, they made sure that everyone could hear the ceremony with their mic and speaker setup. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

Congratulations! You can stop looking: you've found the best DJ EVER. (You have also, arguably, found one of the best humans ever.) I am also a wedding vendor (photog) and so I have been to A LOT of weddings and seen A LOT of DJs, and I'm here to tell you, if you're looking to have the kind of party where guests are still calling you 2 months later to tell you how good the music was, and how it was the best wedding they've ever been to, then Chas is your guy. He is a total audiophile, his music knowledge is extensive, he knew every last song we requested right down to the most obscure, all the cues during the ceremony were flawless (he comes from a sound design background), and he knows how to get the dancing going and keep it going. Also? He's a total mensch. The nicest guy, so much integrity, and a rigorous work ethic. He cares, he wants it to be perfect for you, and it was.

I booked ReVrb Sound for my wedding on 9/18/21 and had an amazing experience! They use a website that allowed us to choose our own songs, specify songs that we did not want played, as well as enter our timeline, any specific announcements, etc. This tool helped keep all our information organized and easily communicated. Chas was an absolute delight. He made the preparation for our event go so smoothly. I love how he uses technology to make curating your playlist for the event so easy. Chas and his ReVrb Sound is the DJ that you want at any of your events! From the get go, he is asking about the styles of music that you are interested in hearing from and clarifies by providing a variety of samples to you for approval. He uses easily understandable software for the couple to upload “must play” or “don’t play” songs that span traditional wedding hits and more obscure tunes. During the actual day of the wedding, you don’t have to think about a thing and can just let the good times roll. It's apparent that Chas is factoring in many things when it comes to what he plays: bride and groom requests, guest requests, timing of the evening, crowd responses, and the need for breaks. He will definitely manage the vibe of your event very effectively. Our venue was cramped when it came to floor space for dancing, but Chas got the crowd worked up and pushing back furniture to create the room we needed. Our number one concern with the after party venue we chose for our wedding was that people wouldn’t dance in it - Chas easily fixed that problem and gave us exactly the night we were hoping for. My wife and I will occasionally remark that one of the greatest last minute decisions (or just decisions?) we hired him. We highly recommend making him a part of your event!

We had a COVID wedding which was in so many ways atypical. We brought on Chas before COVID and then were not sure if we were going to be able to accommodate him or any other staff due to our event size restriction. Chas stepped it up and made us a full out DJ'd playlist that included all the songs our folks wanted, and progressed through the night exactly as a DJ would have imagined. It was perfect and we cannot thank him enough. No spotify playlist would have matched the expertise of Chas!

Chas is the absolute BEST DJ and he made our wedding party rock! I was very concerned about music/wedding DJs and Chas came highly recommended from my wedding coordinator. He was super flexible and even made time to meet in person with my fiance and I during our planning stages. His website and planning portal was super easy to use. (I gave Chas some very challenging playlists and he executed them perfectly!) He listened to all our input and never tried to push any music that we did not want. Most importantly, he had the dance floor partying the whole time and several of our guests commented on his awesome DJ skills and wished we could keep the dance party going longer! Chas was awesome. He was instrumental in making our wedding reception a great party. We received such positive feedback from our guests. He is extremely professional, responsive, and accommodating. There was absolutely no drama or fuss; he made everything easy, working effectively with the reception facility in the background and finding the music we requested. He is also a very cost effective option particularly given the high level of service. We asked him to play a list of "required" songs in a wide range of genres and he expertly incorporated the songs into the evening without making the music seem random. For the rest of the music, we asked him to play a couple genres of music and deferred to his experience and deep knowledge of music to select the right songs. He is able to read the crowd and play music that keeps people on the dance floor. He is also a great character on the microphone if needed.

Chas was spectacular! With just a short conversation about our vibe for the wedding and our first dance he seemed excited and prepared with a full repertoire of songs. We felt very comfortable giving him the reins and having him make announcements to keep the party moving. We would highly recommend him for any event you have coming up!

I have so many good things to say about Chas from ReVrb sound. He has been incredibly accommodating to us for making our wedding day special. For starters, Chas curated a disco/funk collection which we requested, and made our guests feel like they were in Studio 54. He was able to do this without much guidance - just knew what to do, which speaks to his talent. In addition to this, I was truly impressed by Chas's professionalism. Chas came highly recommended, and I can see why. Our wedding went beautifully and sounded amazing. Loved all that Chas and his team (Yay Barb!) did to make our event amazing. Email communication was super quick in response and very professional. We had some song requests that were outside of the norm, Chas helped us track down the needed music and wove it into the evening perfectly. We also got a photobooth, and LOVE the guestbook this created. So much fun!

CHAS IS THE BEST! Chas not only dj'd our reception but also helped with the ceremony and cocktail hour music. He got our mics for the ceremony all set up and positioned the speakers perfectly. He also hooked us up with a photo booth and props. The photos are hilarious! His staff was lovely and friendly. Chas even was able to set us up with uplighting when the venue told us our lighting plan wouldn't work. I would highly recommend his services. I know if I host another big bash I'd be calling him up first thing!

Why stop at 5 stars?! My review is a little different having come from the wedding business I had worked along side Chas for many years, but that is even more of a compliment because out of the hundreds of DJ's I had worked with over the years, he was my favorite by a long shot. From beginning to end everything went so smooth! The online portal was an excellent tool, and was great in making sure that we had all of our "i's dotted, and t's crossed" and was an excellent way to communicate! He was incredibly flexible with our ceremony changes, from outside, to inside to back outside again (who plans an outside wedding in Illinois in October? This girl). He even worked on a secret project with my dad that was executed flawlessly! The dancefloor was PACKED all night, MC-ing was on point... everything was perfect. When we started planning our wedding reception, finding a DJ was the hardest part. I called several companies, was put on waitlists, and played phone tag for months. Finally I was put in contact with Chas at ReVrb Sound, and he was a lifesaver, or in this case a Reception Saver. Right from the beginning he was easy to communicate with, even with my busy schedule, and was incredibly accommodating. Setting up song requests and suggestions was very easy through their client portal, and we were able to hammer out all the details effortlessly. The day of reception his team were all incredibly helpful and professional during set-up. Not only did Chas DJ/MC our event, they also provided the most amazing Photo Booth ever, and a Media display. Since our Ceremony was an elopement it gave a chance for our guests to see the pictures from our ceremony, and post their own pictures from the reception using our hashtag. They were both total hits with all our guests. Our reception was Lord of the Rings themed, and ReVrb really rose to the occasion with helping us find amazing backdrops for our guests to have fun with. After the event we were able to get copies of all the photos via Google Drive, and they are some of my absolute favorites from that night. We can’t thank DJ Chas and his team enough for making our Reception a night that guests are still raving about. The sound set up was perfect, and he was great at reading the crowd. The dance floor was full all night, and they really helped us have the perfect reception. We couldn’t have found a better DJ, and now we have so many happy memories from that night to cherish. ReVrb Sound really make our very non-traditional block party wedding a rocking affair! Chas was so easy to work with, and he and his assistants were great fun at the event. The process of song selection and timeline set-up were incredibly simple. We had quite a range of musical tastes, and Chas made it all fit together. The photo booth was a huge hit with guests of all ages, and we are very much enjoying having copies of all the pictures that were taken. Chas and his wife were absolutely amazing. We had a wonderful wedding and I think half of it was due to them. They listened to us about our taste in music and played our songs at the appropriates times (when the groom was on the dance floor, during dinner, etc). The music during the wedding could not have fit us better. Beyond being a DJ, Chas went above and beyond to ensure that the timing of events during the wedding happened on schedule. There were many details about the progression of the day that I had not completely thought through and Chas ensured it went smoothly. Chas was great from start to finish. I knew he would be a great fit for us from our first conversation - genuine, considerate and professional. A lot of DJs will fight you over creative control, but he does a great job of making the sure the wedding is what you want it to be. He played everything we wanted, had a great feel for the room and made the night so, so memorable. We got so many compliments about how the wedding felt so personal to us, and the music played a huge part in that. And on top of everything else, Chas is just a really kind, good person. Chas is hands down the BEST DJ! I was super skeptical going into this, cause I feel like DJ's are so cheesy and bad, so I feel bad I already came in with some blinders on. I was so quickly put at ease, as Chas was SO wonderful to work with. We had some silly non-traditional elements we wanted added in and he made it our dream wedding! Everyone was saying how he worked hard to let songs not go on for too long, and run into the next, and really read the room to keep people dancing all night long., Not only that, he and his wife Barbara kept checking in on me to make sure I was doing ok, and that we got everything we wanted.
