Rhapsody Music- Harp and Piano

I absolutely love weddings- I have since I was a little girl-- I love being in them, going to them, anything to do with weddings! When I was about 11 years old I was asked to play for my first "event" on the harp. If I remember correctly it was a favor for a friend and it was just simple background music-- but for me it was such a exciting task!! That's when I fell in love with the music aspect of weddings and receptions. I remember realizing just how vital music can be for an event. Fast forward, several years later- it's still a very strong passion of mine. I LOVE working with brides, letting them share the songs they have always dreamed of walking down the aisle too, or telling me " I don't know the name of it, but it sounds like this" and us pulling a search and rescue to find that perfect piece. I love how detailed brides can be when it comes to music- knowing exactly what they want and how they want it to sound. On the other hand, I've worked several weddings where the bride doesn't have any special selections- they just want something that sounds pretty and appropriate-- and both types of brides are great! I will work with you. Whatever you want, whatever you need I can make it work. I can play by ear, as well as music. Weddings are both visual and auditory. There are beautiful things to see at weddings, but when you incorporate the correct music that catches the vibe and the emotion behind a wedding-- that is breathtaking.
