Rhein Haus is a Bavarian-inspired restaurant, bar and event venue located on Capitol Hill. A truly unique space featuring a bier hall, dining room, outdoor biergarten, and two mezzanines, Rhein Haus also offers five indoor bocce courts and one outdoor court. Executive Chef Pete Fjosne leads a culinary team creating house-made sausages, pretzels, and an outstanding blend of traditional and unique Bavarian dishes. At the bar, our 25 drafts offer a remarkable selection of German, Belgian, and American beers while our cocktail program features beer as an ingredient. We had a total blast hosting our rehearsal dinner here! We really wanted a more laid back rehearsal dinner where family could relax, chat, and bond over food and bocce ball, while ...
friends could come and go as needed-and we got that and more. The food was delicious: great brauts and pretzels and even tasty salad options and decent veggie substitutes. Cocktails and beer where phenomenal. The ambiance and was great; we were in the upper mezzanine part of the hall, so separate from most of the other customers, but with a fun loft view of the bocce courts. The staff were lovely as well, making sure everyone had enough food and drinks and even letting us extend our time on the bocce courts! It was really just the kind of relaxing experience we needed before the big day. We also didn't feel nearly as nickel and dimed as some of the other venues we were considering. Seattle's an expensive city, so for an informal wedding event, Rhein Haus felt just right.
Had our rehearsal dinner here and kept getting compliments on how fun this place/atmosphere was. The team was easy to work with and we had a blast.
We had our wedding rehearsal party here, with 150 people. Since it wasn't the actual reception, we didn't plan the event to a T, but thankfully Rhein Haus took care of everything. ...
They timed the food perfectly, kept communications with us clear, and generally gave our guests wonderful service. Felix, in particular, is a gem. Everyone had a blast, and as I'm sure you'll read elsewhere in these reviews, the food is incredible. 10/10, would host here again!
