Had an excellent and easy experience hiring a DJ for our wedding reception through Rhodey Starks. We got so many compliments on Grant Jones, and he definitely kept the dance floor alive all night!

I can't say enough good things about my experience with RhodeyStark Events!!! Omaur was the absolute BEST to work with for our wedding. He was a recommended vendor at our venue (Hidden Greens in Hastings, MN). One of our biggest priorities was the music and Omaur nailed it. He was there from the ceremony to dinner to the reception and it was truly the best time! He plays amazing music and even had us compete a detailed questionnaire that let him know exactly what we wanted to hear. We also let him just do his own thing at times and he fit the vibe perfectly. I seriously cant recommend him enough. If you need a DJ - Omaur is your guy!!!

Omaur is the man! He quickly picked up on the type of music/vibes we were looking for and he was a perfect fit for our high energy crowd. My husband comes from a big Latino family and Omaur made sure to include a good mix of Latin music, which was super important to us. We received many compliments on the music and dance floor! Many people told us it was the best reception they had been to. Omaur even surprised us with playing the final song "Forever" which was the same as our recessional song and meant a lot to me. We would highly recommend Omaur to anyone!

We couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our forever special day. Omaur brought the tunes, the energy, and the genuine touch to this day. I'd not only recommend, but I'd tell others to hire for their special days!

Omaur was amazing! We could not have been happier with his music, professionalism and his understanding of what we were looking for. We received so many compliments on the music and his professionalism. We would hire Omaur again in a heartbeat

Omaur was an awesome DJ! DJs are so crucial to a wedding and Omaur did a great job. He kept us on track with time, listened to our every need, and most importantly kept everybody dancing! He was great with the crowd & we got so many compliments on what a good job he did. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ!

Omaur DJ’d my wedding on July 17th and the man absolutely knocked it outta the park! He was punctual, super nice, and was able to read the room perfectly for all my music for the evening! He made it so easy on me through out the entire process and did amazing!! Thanks for rocking our tailgate wedding and joining us on our special day!

I know Omaur Bliss best from the yoga and fitness community ... but I cannot recommend his DJ services (through RhodeyStark Events)more highly. Omaur is professional, yet creative and fun. He is energetic, crowd-pleasing, and has impeccable music knowledge and taste. You would not go wrong hiring RhodeyStark for your event.

Omar was THE BEST! He came to our house about a month out and coached us through the whole event. The day of he was insistent on showing up early and helping out to make sure everything went smoothly, which I really appreciated. He lead the evening along perfectly as our MC and kept everyone & everything on schedule. He was spot on with the music selection and really helped to get the party started once all the other milestones had been completed. We are so grateful we went with Omar and know you will be too!

DJ Omaur Bliss (aka RhodeyStark) is not only an extremely talented DJ, but a consummate professional and all-around lovely human being. My husband and I had met him at galas/friends’ weddings prior to our ceremony in June 2018 - Omaur is only one of two vendors (the other being our hair/makeup crew) that I knew I wanted to work with when we started planning. We didn’t pick a ceremony date until we knew his schedule! Music has always been an important part of our lives; our event soundtrack was really the ONLY component of our wedding that I wanted a lot of control over. I needed a musician in whom I had complete trust, and I had that in Omaur. He was incredibly easy to work with even though he was literally planning his OWN wedding at the time. Our event was a huge success in no small part due to DJ Omaur. We had a large crowd of all ages, and he excelled at “reading the room” to gauge what music would be best received throughout the entire gig. Rave reviews from all of our guests! Hire this man! So, so worth it.

Omaur was a fantastic DJ!! He was exceptionally easy to work with and diligent in creating a playlist that resonated with not just us as the wedding couple, but our families and friends as well. He was also instrumental in choreographing the ceremony itself and his improvisation skills were second to none. He has outstanding taste and knowledge of all musical genres. Overall we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Omaur was fantastic! He was so easy to work and communicate with. A phone call before we booked him meant that we were fully on the same page about what we were looking for in terms of music choices and emceeing. On the day of, he was on time, professional, and easy-going. He was able to keep the crowd dancing and engaged with excellent music curation. I would whole-heartedly recommend Omaur and RhodeyStark Events for DJ services.

RhodeyStark Events were created in 2014 to elevate the state of events from mundane to memorable by encouraging authentic energizing engagement, connection, and inciting dance parties of any demographic and age. Omaur Bliss is an open format DJ and producer who fuses Old School, EDM, Hip Hop, Reggaeton, Funk, Country, and Pop to create an infectious dance party. When Omaur isn’t rockin the crowds he spends his off time working out, eating too many egg rolls, and going on fun excursions with his wife and son.
