An hour meeting turned into a 2 ½ hour meeting, with a clear wedding vision and zero doubt about Rhonda Kaplan as our wedding florist. I immediately knew we were in good hands. Rhonda is patient, passionate and a floral perfectionist. She brought our vision to life with ease. When she delivered the flowers to the bridal suite, I was completely speechless. We received so many compliments about Rhonda’s floral design all throughout our wedding venue. Her attention to detail truly made our wedding turn out more beautiful than we could have possibly imagined. Rhonda was a dream to work with from the start and well beyond our wedding, I truly hope our paths will cross to work together again. I was long distance planning and even facetimed with me while they were there to explain her process and ensure me that everything would be just right. I knew I wanted simple but beautiful flowers to complement the day not take over the day and Rhonda knew exactly what to do to meet that mark. Our bouquets were beautiful and the centerpieces were exactly as we discussed for both events. She took the time to hear me out to make sure she fully understood what I was imagining and agreed to take on something new and made my vision become a reality, really she absolutely nailed it! ill can't get over how beautiful and perfect the flowers were. We had so many unique arrangements besides the typical bouquets/boutonnieres, including flowers for our homemade wedding arbor, ceremony doors, and a swing. Rhonda wanted to see what we made for our wedding beforehand so she even came over to the wedding site which was at my in-law's property for a site visit and to see the arbor so she could get a good vision for what to do. She is soooo creative and so easy to connect with. Hiring her was the easiest decision I've made. We met twice beforehand and I love how personable and casual our meetings were in her home studio. I emailed her some inspiration photos from pinterest that I really loved, and she took my vision and made it come to life but even more beautiful than I could have imagined! She showed up early and ready to work the day of our wedding, and just did the most spectacular job. Rhonda, thank you again so much for the most perfect flowers for our special day!!

I loved meeting with her and she even took me and my now mother in law to the flower warehouse so we could pick out the types of flowers we wanted. It was great to work with an actual person rather than a large company, as Rhonda does everything herself from her own home. I cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking for a florist!

an amazing friend in a time of crisis. When she received the flowers for our special day she received the wrong color of one of my favorite flowers. She went above and beyond and called all over to find the correct flowers. She found them and was able to relieve me stress. While searching for the flowers for our special day I really had no idea what I wanted, but Rhonda was able to help me visualize the colors and the display. it was at an old steel mill called Carrie Furnace. She made me a gorgeous floral crown to wear instead of a veil. It was the perfect accessory for my dress. I felt like a Greek goddess, ha! Bravo to this florist, prompt, organized, creative, hard working and kind. Highly recommend!

The florals at my wedding were unique, elegant, and a major part in all our best wedding photos. From scaling my bridal bouquet to fit my size, to creating an arrangement for my escort cards that employees at the venue were taking picture of because they had never seen anything like it, to even remembering one of my favorite flowers were peonies, that I had mentioned in passing and making sure I had some peonies for my bridal room, her attention to detail, incredible sense of design and scale, and professionalism, was so far above and beyond anything I had hoped for. Rhonda was a true partner in making my wedding exactly as I wanted it. But best of all, she is a lovely woman, with a beautiful heart, that I am sure I will remain friends with. I cannot recommend Rhonda highly enough for your wedding or any other event, or special occasion you may have. You simply will NOT find a better floral designer.

s with me from the first meeting and throughout the process, up until the actual day. Rhonda got my concept from the beginning. The second meeting, I met with her and her assistant to pick out the actual flowers to be used. Rhonda was good about letting me know which flowers would put me over-budget, and which would be out of season by my big day. The day of the wedding, Rhonda's very talented assistant did the actual cutting and arranging of the flowers and helped to set up my other decor. Weeks later, my mother is still saying she "had never seen such flowers before," and my dad wrote me that it was "incredible," and he "can't recall even a fairy-tale wedding ever being more so." I know this was possible, only because of these artists, in orchestra with my other vendors.

een super stressed about the flower situation! I told her my budget was $2,000 and she made it work. She probably spent HOURS making all the little floral arrangements that i asked for! Instead of one big centerpiece per table, i had tons of little vintage vases spread out across rectangle tables. To deliver this amount of flowers & vases must have been NO EASY FEAT but she did it on time and the dining room LOOKED LIKE A MAGAZINE COVER. it was really really beautiful. Here were the unpleasant surprises: I paid to rent an aisle runner from her, and it was PAPER. WHAT? a paper aisle runner? I was NOT happy about that surprise. if i was going to get paper, i wouldn't have rented it, i would have just bought it myself. Second unhappy surprise, we had emailed back and forth about "spray roses" in the boutonnieres, even sent a few pictures back and forth. But when the boutonnieres arrived they looked cheap and had one little green freesia bud. it looked like a weed. there were no roses. So I told her she better put roses on the boutonnieres before delivering to the groomsmen! She made a comment to her assistant that made me seem like i was asking too much- and i had to remind her AGAIN that we had documented email correspondence about the roses she was going to use! The third unpleasant surprise was - my bride's bouquet was SMALLER than the bridesmaids bouquets! And even though it supposedly held hundreds of dollars of more beautiful flowers, in pictures, it looks like we're all carrying the same bouquet! That did not make me happy. Overall I think those things could have been resolved with different communication but in the end, those 3 details were only a small percent of the good job Rhonda did on my wedding day (and the days leading up to it, where we met a few times, picked out flowers, designed a mock table, etc.) she was very helpful and encouraging!
