Rugosa hd the perfect garden area for the ceremony with an archway of trees, which Rhonwen captured beautifully. So many fotos of our guests with us and with each other. She worked within our budget and stayed longer than we had paid her for. She was wonderful. Even now, our guests have commented on how she never stopped taking pictures. I was impressed by her efficiency in positioning herself: as me and my bride would be moving from one table to the next to talk with guests, she whould move with us while also shooting past us to the perimeter for other activity worth capturing. She was amazing. Rhonwen was so helpful to a bride in need, I was alone and she saw that my veil was wrinkled while trying to take pictures of it, she collected a steamer and began to steam my veil! I wanted to cry! At the ceremony and the reception Rhonwen made sure every moment were captured and also made sure me and my husband had some magical pictures. I received my proofs and I was jumping for joy at how gorgeous they were. I would recommend to Anyone! My beach wedding pictures are amazing. She was the one who noticed a ribbon tied to my deceased mother's bouquet which we used to tie the back of my dress! She asked for a list of names of the wedding party and family prior to the big day and was instrumental in gathering everyone for all the pictures. Personally, I like symmetry: so I wanted even number of people on each side, all men had hands in pockets or hands crossed in front of them. She asked about this prior to the wedding. Some people like more off-the-cuff/less formal pictures. It is all based on preference and Rhonwen knows those questions. She has a passion for photography and it comes out in her work. She's not just in the business for the job, you can tell that this is what she truly loves. From the first time I reached out to her, she was always very responsive and in a timely manner. Once I booked her, I gave her a detailed list of all the shots I wanted. She then created a down-to-the-minute timeline of the day, including travel time from location to location. She had this with her at all times during my wedding day and referenced it often. She met my husband and I at our wedding location a few weeks before the big day to scope out first look locations as well as locations for bridal party shots and family photos. She arrived early on the wedding day. She took all the pictures I could ever want plus more. She has the artistic eye to know what is going to look the best. She knew I wanted symmetry so she made sure everyone was set in place. Further, we had some extra time since we got through the list of bridal pictures quicker than we had planned, Rhonwen put us in some different/funny positions for some photos. These ended up being some of the favorites! I recently went to a wedding in Connecticut for a close friend and I know she spend A FORTUNE on her photographer. It seemed like every time I turned around the photographers were standing looking down at the photos they had taken and would take a few shots of the dance floor every now and then. I couldn't believe it!! All I could think of was how Rhonwen was constantly snapping photos at my wedding, I don't think she ever took that camera away from her face the entire day! She was very responsive to special requests and made sure that they were covered on the big day. I wanted a picture of our rings with the Boston Globe from the day. Also, pictures with my grandmother. After the wedding, she uploaded and edited all the photos very quickly. I wanted to order thank you cards with a photo we took during our first look and she responded quickly with this photo. The edited images came out beautiful! I HIGHLY suggest getting a second shooter. Rhonwen was with me while I was getting ready and Rhonwen's other shooter was with my husband. My guests raved about Rhonwen. They said "she was everywhere!!" She was constantly moving, taking photos, but still very professional. She wasn't intrusive during the ceremony, but she still got amazing shots. She was all over the place snapping away during the cocktail hour and reception.

It took a little over a year and a half to receive our edited 'preview video', which is about 8 minutes long, and we still have not received our full video (our wedding was Dec 2016). I would suggest putting in your contract a timeline for receiving your pictures and/or videos.

l to the wedding. We had not hired a videographer and were scrambling to get the ceremony and reception videotaped. Someone recommended Rhonwen and when I called her, she jumped right in. What a pleasure she was to deal with! She assigned a sound engineer to work with us. We met Mark on the wedding day and found him to be polite, respectful and very professional. The finished product was so much more than we could have hoped for. The video and accompanying music are absolutely beautiful. We showed it to Grandma and the entire Nursing Home community recently and got to relive one of the best days of our lives. Thanks Rhonwen and Mark for being part of our day.

on to gather photos for our centerpieces. Working with dogs and cats is not easy. But Rhonwen was extremely patient and very creative in capturing each animal's personality. We were blown away when we received the pictures. Our guests loved the personal touch of each photo at the reception tables. For the wedding, Rhonwen was amazing. She took the time to discuss which photos we wanted to include, captured those then helped to guide us towards some additional fun shots. Even with the threat of rain, she captured some beautiful beach photos. At the reception, I don't know how she did it, but she was everywhere! I heard repeated comments from guests complimenting the commitment and creativity of our photographer. We were all impressed with her ability to maneuver and capture so many fun shots. We love the photos! They're full of creativity, beauty and capture us perfectly. Overall, we're so happy that we chose Rhonwen as our photographer and we couldn't have been happier.

y picky and detail-oriented and when she came to meet with me and my then-fiance, she took careful notes on the kinds of photos we wanted, the things we like and didn't like, and she even tried to learn everyone's names of who would be at the wedding since we were having a very small, intimate family ceremony. That alone blew me away -- from all of my friends who have gotten married, I have never heard of anyone having a photographer who tried to learn the names of people who would be in the wedding. My husband and I are also fairly shy so I was worried our photos might look posed or awkward, but Rhonwen made us feel incredibly comfortable. I can not give enough praise for the photos that Rhonwen captured. They are magical. Moreover, since the photos we had planned to take after the ceremony were taking longer than anticipated, I didn't think we would be able to visit our final location for a few quick photos on this bridge across a marsh that is very special to me and my husband. However, Rhonwen herself insisted we go there and take pictures on the bridge -- some of the most beautiful photos from our day were captured on our way to this bridge amidst a grove of trees with the afternoon sunlight pouring in. This would not have happened without Rhonwen's insistence. She ended up staying late just to capture those photos and I could not be more grateful -- they are so beautiful and so special to us! It's clear that Rhonwen cares about the photos as much as the bride and groom, and that becomes apparent in her work and the all of the wonderful moments she captures. We love working with her so much that we booked her for our October reception as well!

She also was amazing in being responsive to out comfort level, given that we are usually the more camera-shy type. On the day of, she was everywhere, capturing everything. She didn't miss a single photo we wanted (and then some), and they all came out extremely beautifully. She even made sure to grab us a few times when the natural lighting was just right (different points at sunset), so that we could truly capture that 'perfect Cape evening' feel during the wedding. We would certainly use her again, and are so, so, so happy with her work. Also, a disclaimer on the comments below: Most photographers take 3-4 months to get all of the photos out at this point. Rhonwen mentioned we might get the photos in closer to the 2-month mark, so we did follow up around then (and had received the FB preview by then) but were not surprised or disappointed to have received them in just under four months, as it would not have been faster anywhere else. No matter which photographer you choose - please plan on being patient!

easonable. I really appreciated her personal service both before the wedding, during and after. On the wedding day she was on-time, had an assistant, and ready to take on a challenging wedding. Hurricane Sandy was coming ashore and with the wedding in the late afternoon the lighting was dim. Anyone can take good shots on a nice sunny day, but it takes a talented photographer like Rhonwen to know how to use ambient light and take stunning photos. Although I am happy with the quality of the photos I have to say one of the best compliments I've heard from our guests (more than one mentioned this) was that she seemed to take lots of photos, but was never once intrusive. The fact that she was able to take the photos without interfering with their enjoyment of the wedding and get some great shots was important to us. She is highly recommended.
