Ricardo and Haley were exceptionally helpful in guiding us through the planning and execution of two completely different style weddings in the past year. Our oldest daughter was married in Dallas at the Hall of State where all components of the wedding were up to us. We hired all of the vendors under the direction of Ricardo who produced a stunning New Year's Eve Wedding and Reception! The Lorraine Tomas Group possess the qualities that you expect from your planner; they are very knowledgeable about wedding resources and also patient and kind throughout the planning process which can sometimes get a little rocky along the way!! Our youngest daughter chose a venue in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The destination event was challenging in new ways that we had not encountered in the local wedding. In the end, we hosted 120 guests for 3 days of pure joy in a beautiful setting! Again, Ricardo and Haley were prepared to negotiate every aspect of this event in another country with a language barrier and a different culture of planning!

Ricardo was literally the planner of our dreams! One short review could not possibly cover all of the great things about Ricardo and the Lorraine Tomas team, but I'll give it a shot. First, Ricardo's vendor recommendations, relationships, and management were amazing. After our very first conversation, he had a perfect understanding of our vision, so much so that we went with his #1 or #2 recommendation for literally every vendor. When we told the vendor contacts who our planner was, the reactions were priceless -- ranging from a simple "Yay, we love him and you're in good hands!" to a sigh of relief and "Oh, thank god!" Our photographer (a cousin with a top-tier luxury business) was singing his praises from the moment he sent his first draft day-of timeline. On the two occasions that a vendor was being difficult, all we had to do was forward the email to Ricardo and he'd immediately reply "I've got this" and work his magic to make the issues go away. Second, he thought of every detail that never would have come to our minds, always with a smart idea on how to address them. (Do you want salads pre-set or delivered during the cocktail hour? Where should guests leave cards and gifts? Who should be invited to your hotel suite for getting ready photos? Who will take your leftover cake and liquor at the end of the night?) Even for a big wedding with a ton of moving parts, he was so prepared that we got to enjoy the entire day without making a single last-minute decision, allowing us to be totally present and calm throughout. Finally, he handled the two of US perfectly. We are two very different personalities -- a head-in-the-clouds romantic ADHDer and a neurotic human spreadsheet. His gentle reminders of deadlines and to-dos kept us accountable without adding to our stress. After every planning call, I would turn to my fiancé and say "I feel so much better." I met Ricardo Tomas with Lorraine Tomas Weddings in 2020 when he was coordinating my good friend's wedding. I was in the wedding party, so I spent all day with Ricardo. I saw how attentive he was all day and throughout the evening and how smoothly the wedding ran. Fast forward two years to my wedding. We needed a coordinator to make it easier on ourselves. Plus, we were planning this Dallas wedding from Massachusetts. I reached out to Ricardo because he made and impression two years prior at my friend's wedding. We hired Ricardo with Lorraine Tomas, and it was the best decision. The wedding wouldn't have gone as smoothly if it hadn't been for him and his team. He met with us virtually several times to go over ideas and details, and he sorta eases you in guiding you to what decisions need to be made based on how far out you are from the wedding date. Every time we were in town, he would meet with us at the venue to walk through the space and details. Ricardo gave us great recommendations on vendors and even got us quotes. He also gave some great ideas and suggestions I would have never even thought of if it wasn't for him. On the day of the wedding, he was literally everywhere in a good way. Whenever you needed him, he was right there. He handled everything, and we didn't have to really worry much about the timeline or the event. He made sure we were taken care of, and all we had to do was enjoy the day. We couldn't have gotten through the wedding without Ricardo's guidance, suggestions, and expertise. We wanted a surprise wedding with a number of somewhat unconventional twists. It was a real operational challenge. Ricardo delivered!!! His depth of knowledge of vendors, facilities and eye for unique artistic touches was amazing. We had close to 150 attendees from all over the country. Many of these folks are wedding attendee veterans. That said, we’ve had countless comments that this was the best wedding they have ever attended (we even got the same comment from a few vendors). Ricardo did an amazing job!

The Lorraine Tomás team of Ricardo, Rebecca and Haley were amazing! We live in Dallas and decided to get married in Las Vegas. Ricardo made the first trip to Vegas with us and prepared an itinerary of venue visits in order to finalize the ceremony and reception locations. We made a second visit for tastings, floral selections, entertainment and venue details. Once wedding week arrived, all the major details were finalized and we were able to concentrate on having a great time with our guests. Our weekend consisted of a Bar Crawl, Welcome Reception, Las Vegas Show, Ceremony, Wedding Reception and final Brunch. Last-minute details were handled by the trio and we had a beautiful ceremony! Ricardo and his team were simply the best. Being a gay couple, it was important for us to have an all inclusive team. Ricardo was this and so much more. He was attentive, helpful, and charismatic when it came to his love for weddings. We cannot imagine planning and executing our special day without him. If you are planning any wedding, hiring a month of coordinator is 100% worth it. So many details go into planning that last month and Ricardo made it very easy. He knew all of the questions to ask and made sure all vendors were ready to go and knew the timeline. I absolutely loved working with him and would recommend his planning services to anyone!

Ricardo kept our big day running smoothly and took so much stress off of us! He even steamed the bridal party dresses when we couldn’t figure out the new steamer we bought for the wedding! Ricardo was great at communicating with us and our other vendors! 10/10 recommend!

My daughter was finishing Medical School out of state and planning a wedding at the same time. Thank Goodness for Ricardo! In addition to great monthly planning updates, our monthly Zoom calls kept us on task so there were no omissions. The vendors he suggested were all 5 star. What sets Ricardo apart is he is an actual Wedding Architect. He set up the room from an aesthetic point of view which made the wedding different from any other we have attended. Ricardo and Rebecca with Lorraine Tomás are the best wedding planners in the business! My husband and I started planning our wedding in the fall of 2019 after we got engaged. As much as we knew we would be blending our lives together as husband and wife, our wedding had the tall task of combining two cultures, two families with very different needs and wants, and a very large guest list. Ricardo and Rebecca were our first choice for wedding planners because of their attention to detail and relationships with vendors in the wedding industry. Our wedding was five events total, with two separate religious ceremonies. Rebecca and Ricardo listened to our vision and guided us through picking our venue, negotiating contracts, wardrobe choices, food tastings, stationary needs, and more. We had to plan our wedding in the Dallas area with us living in North Carolina amid the pandemic, and Rebecca and Ricardo were always available for a Zoom or video conference. They answered every call, text, and email we had (and there were a lot!). When our wedding was postponed from September 2020 due to the pandemic, Rebecca and Ricardo quickly unplanned our first wedding and had all our vendors confirmed for our new date in September 2021 within a week. We had more than a dozen vendors to keep track of between all the wedding events, and the relationships that Rebecca and Ricardo have formed with other wedding professionals ended up saving us money in the end. Every detail of our wedding weekend was perfect, and their team worked tirelessly from putting together welcome boxes all the way to the sparkler exit to make sure it was everything my husband and I had envisioned. We received so many compliments not only about the beautiful décor, the attention to detail, and level of organization, but also about our wonderful wedding planners who made it all possible. Our wedding would not have been the same without Ricardo and Rebecca with Lorraine Tomás!

Hiring Ricardo was one of the best/easiest vendor decisions we made. We hired him for “day of” services so that we could enjoy our wedding day and it was money well spent. This also including helping up plan out timing of the days leading up to the ceremony, as well as the ceremony and reception. We had 1-2 meetings with Ricardo initially and a Zoom meeting about a month before our event. I am naturally an anxious perfectionist, so having a calming force like Ricardo for our wedding weekend was must. I had 100% confidence that everything would go off without a hitch, and it did! Ricardo also knows and has worked with pretty much everyone in the business, so he is able to flawlessly execute the perfect day. He also thinks of every possible detail you probably WON’T. Not only is he THE BEST wedding planner in Dallas, we now have created a new lifelong friend.

The best day! Ricardo made our wedding planning stress free and fun! He thought of everything for our destination wedding and he brought so much professionalism and expertise to our day. We absolutely had the fairytale wedding of our dreams and could not have done it without Ricardo! He handled everything!!!!!! I was not asked a single question on my wedding day, as Ricardo handled everything behind the scenes with ease. He set up and packed up our reception items before I could even offer to help! He started at 8am on our wedding day, organizing and setting up, and finally sat down for the first time at 2am, after he packed all of our items to be shipped home the next day. Lena Al-Rashed , Married on 10/12/2019 5.0 Wedding Day MVP! I don’t know if our special day would’ve even happened without Ricardo. He helped make sure every little detail was taken care of and perfect. All the way down to getting a lip liner stain out of my dress 20 min before walking down the aisle!!!🥰 The day of, he coordinated everything with my vendors and was SO attentive and helpful not just to my husband (yay) and I, but also to my entire family and wedding party. From start to finish he was so sweet and and so accommodating. Honesty, if you don’t have Ricardo as your wedding day architect, I’m sorry, but you’re doing it wrong.

Creative, organized, calming force I am so grateful we hired Ricardo as our planner. We hired Ricardo for our day-of coordinator and he was a lifesaver. Truly the one wedding expense that was more than worth it. I don't know what I would've done without him on the day of the wedding. He took care of everything with the vendors so all I had to worry about was relaxing and primping with my bridal party. He made sure everything ran seamlessly and he was always available to answer a question or provide something from his extensive "emergency kit." He even coordinated his accessories to compliment the wedding colors. He really does think of all the little details. I can only imagine how spectular a wedding would be if you had him as the planner for everything. He is just an absolute joy to work with as well.

Ricardo is the single reason I didn't lose my mind on my wedding day. Before the wedding he was helpful and prompt when replying to my questions and during the wedding everything was masterfully coordinated by him. His eye for design and talent for making a simple wedding spectacular is the single biggest reason I would choose Ricardo over anyone else.

I can honestly say I believe Ricardo Tomas is one of the best wedding planners in DFW. He is sincere, compassionate, and will do anything to make his brides happy. He pointed me in the direction of the best vendors in the area, and because they have enjoyed working with him so much, they treated me very special and I even got a few discounts here and there (can't guarantee that will always happen, but it was a nice perk!) My reception went very smoothly and our families and wedding party enjoyed working with him and his team very much because of his calm spirit. He has several levels of service to acommodate any and all brides. I highly recommend Ricardo to any bride that wants to feel like a queen on her wedding day.
