The head chef and owner, Walter Rice, has been creating decadent and elegant dishes for decades. Chef Wally trained at the prestigious L’Academie de Cuisine in Bethesda, Maryland. After his formal training, he catered for several top clientele such as the artists at Wolf Trap arts center and Hilary Clinton’s Senate campaign. In 2001, Walter established Rice Catering where he designed an array of menus that combined worldly flavors and inspired dishes.
This team offers a plethora of menus that can be customized to best meet your wedding plans. These menus include a smorgasbord of appetizers, entrees, sides, desserts, and more. These dishes are inspired by cuisines from around the world including Italian, Thai, Middle-Eastern, Mexican, American, and seafood. These dishes can be presented however you wish including plated meals, buffets, stations, and family-style.
