After looking at Rich's pictures, I got to again enjoy the fall beauty of the Berkshires, the funky qualities of the animals, and the happiness of the occasion. Rich documented the day without words and captured every emotion. His pictures emotionally touched me - it was then that I cried at my son's wedding.
Prior to the wedding, Rich spent hours getting to know the location and Mike and Sarah. They walked the area, and he enthusiastically talked about great opportunities for photo shoots. On the day of the wedding, I hardly ever noticed his presence. His post production showed his ability to capture light, reflections, details, and humor. He was a pleasure to work with and was reasonably priced. I have received many complements on his work.
We planned our wedding with short notice, and with only 6 weeks to go we signed Rich on. His portfolio supported our idea of a fun event, capturing mostly candids of guests instead of lots of formal shots and table shots. The results were amazing...lively, colorful, spontaneous, fun.
Equally important is that Rich was easy to work with. Tell him what you want and he'll blend into the woodwork and make things happen.
One look at Rich's photographs online had me hooked before I even met him in person. His shots are unexpected, artful, and beautiful. My husband and I weren't disappointed!
Rich took amazing photos of our special day and wasn't ever "in the way", like some photographers are. I asked for very specific shots, which he was able to deliver in stunning fashion.
Our photo album, filled with Rich's photos, is a masterpiece of amazing shots and a great reminder of the happiest day of our lives!
Rich was incredible, Honestly there is not a phot shot that he missed for our wedding. He made our experience fun and formal at the same time and I would recommend him to anyone. In fact my cousings wedding is comming up and he is also doing the photo's for that! He let us do the talking and he also had some incredible ideas for shots as well, We recieved a cd with well over 300 photos on it and we were able to print and pick what we wanted as well as do what was needed with the discs. They are ours to keep, I highly recommend the book of wedding photos that Rich does, It comes out incredible and it is more memerable than making your own!!! Rich gets an A++++ in my book and I will continue to recommend him to everyone:) We are now expecting a child and he will be doing the pregnancy and family photos to come:)
For my wedding, photography was one of the most important things to get right. I was so happy to find Rich. I really like the photojournalism style of wedding pictures, and wanted to find someone who could infuse a sense of humor into our pictures while also keeping them aesthetically pleasing. Rich did all this for us.
He was extremely open to our input - what kinds of shots we wanted, what kinds of backdrops we might want for our shots, etc. It ended up making our photography very personal to us.
We ended up with about 300 quality shots from the day, which were given to us on a disc that we could do whatever we wanted with. It was a great way to select the ones we wanted prints of, and made it easy to do things like post our photos to Facebook.
If I had to come up with one criticism, it would have to be that the "staged" photos - the formal shots of our families and the like - took somewhat of a long time to coordinate, making us later than we wanted to be entering the reception. Also, I ended up being the one directing who was in what photo at what time. I kind of enjoy doing this, so it wasn't a big deal for me, but if you are on the shy side I would recommend creating a list of exactly who you want in which shots in which order for your formals to speed things along.
Again, I cannot overstate how happy my husband and I were with the photos from our wedding. Thanks, Rich!
