ding officiant in many ways. If you are reading this review, you are probably most focused on an officiant’s delivery during your ceremony. He completely crushed this. He was graceful, smooth, funny, and very charismatic. People at our wedding asked us how we knew him because it seemed like we had been family friends for years. His timing was perfect and he directed everyone very well. He had to deal with intense wind gusts during our ceremony during our otherwise perfect day and he made it look easy. And most importantly, he ducked out of the photographs of our first kiss :) However, Richard’s value was not just in his actual ceremony presentation. Both before and during our wedding, he took care of all of the little details and helped us feel that everything was in good hands. Before our wedding, he always came very prepared to our Zoom meetings with many helpful details. He was sensitive to the unique style of ceremony we were looking for and never tried to push us in a certain direction. He helped us talk through different ideas and provided great context as he has been part of many weddings. And after our wedding, he worked with our witnesses to take care of our marriage license so we did not have to worry about it at all during our wedding. Thank you Richard for being such a highlight of our special day!

He was really nice and so excited to meet us to review what we were looking for in terms of ceremony. We were exchanging vows at our venue and hoped for an outside ceremony (weather permitting). He made awesome recommendations. The day of, he took charge and ran our rehearsal and welcomed our guests with a cheerful speech. The ceremony was awesome. He incorporated our unity heart and special requests with ease. Our guests couldn’t say enough about how personable he was. He made our day that much more unforgettable. We contacted several officiants before we selected Richard for our ceremony and we are so glad we waited for the right one. We highly recommend Richard.

The process of writing the "script" was easy because he had an in depth "menu" of choices so that we could customize our ceremony. We performed an untraditional wine box and love letter ceremony (off the "menu") that he embraced with a lot of excitement. He helped us create this part of the script too. He was also very knowledgable on the whole process including the staging of the ceremony… where our bridal party would enter and stand and which seats our immediate family members would sit in, run of show, etc. Richard made the whole process fun and un-intimidating (as we had obviously never done this before!) At the rehearsal he introduced himself as "The Rev" and quickly made us all feel comfortable. He made it lighthearted and fun. He had us all laughing that evening. This also reflected the next day at our ceremony as well. He really understood our personalities and made my husband and I, the bridal party, and attendants laugh AND cry together. Everyone fell in love with his charismatic and professional personality and this made our ceremony fun, comfortable, and memorable. These traits are really hard to find in someone, but we are SO glad we found them in you, Richard! We cannot thank you enough for making our wedding ceremony what we dreamed it would be and much more! If I could, we would give you 10 gold stars each! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

e Reverand was beyond our expectations when it came to his ability to organize everything to the final detail. When he says he can do it in his sleep, he's not exaggerating. Our guests were so impressed with his warmth and sense of humor. They all wanted to know how we had met and how long we had known him for, since it seemed like we had been acquainted for a lifetime. What I appreciated the most was the time he took to truly get to know us as a couple, what was important to us, what resonated with us- and helped us design a ceremony around that. He is an absolute wedding pro- answered all of my questions before I asked them! Truth be told, we had a secret "signal" (strongly nudging the other with our knees ha ha!) if we liked him or not, and within 5 minutes of meeting him, we both gave each other our signal!!! We cannot thank Richard Colonna's enough for his help, guidance and sincerity during our wedding. He created with us a beautiful ceremony that fit the two of us perfectly. Richard helped us with a rehearsal the night before and he made it incredibly organized and easy, we both felt so relaxed knowing that he was in charge! Despite the ring bearer going to the emergency room (along with his parents who were in the wedding party), Richard made sure everyone was in place, and adjusted without flaw. Words cannot express how grateful we are that Richard was the person who married us, he truly helped to keep us focused on what mattered and brought such love to our ceremony. Our friends and family absolutely loved him (we had no doubt that they would!)! But most of all he solidified what we already knew...that we were meant to be married. Thank you, Richard, from the bottom of our hearts for being the most important part of our day and certainly one of our favorites :)
