Steve was great planning food and coordinating with table/chair vendor. Food was absolutely amazing. All of our wedding guests raved about how great the food taste. Our server, Shannon, was phenomenal!!

Rich's catered my wedding, and everything was better than I had imagined! The set up was beautiful, the service was excellent, and the food was amazing! They also made sure everything ran smoothly. Prior to the wedding, they answered my questions quickly and easily accommodated any changes we made. Using them seriously took a huge weight off my shoulders, and I was not concerned about anything going wrong, knowing there were there.

So this review is for the food and staff mostly as I had my wedding reception at their partner location: The Rapids Theatre. I worked mainly with Maureen in planning everything, and she is awesome!! Very accommodating and she got everything the way I wanted it!! They do the set up at the theatre, and it looked amazing!! Better than I could have ever dreamed! I sometimes also talked with Steve when Maureen was out of office, and they are always quick to reply and so helpful!! So let's talk food. I won't list all the hors d'oeuvres I got but many were Buffalo themed and they were all delicious!! The entrees were sooooooooooooooo delicious!!! My guests had the chicken chardonnay, filet of sirloin, roasted salmon, and summer rollatini (and kids meal). EVERYONE I talked to about the food said it was hands down the best wedding food they had ever had!! When we were walking around to do our rounds, people's plates were wiped clean. SOO GOOD! The cake was also delicious and well presented! ;D I highly recommend Rich's to those looking for a catering service!!

The Atrium was just renovated last summer and boy, it is a show stopper! The minute everyone walked in, they were welcomed with 4 story ceilings with beautiful soft draping. My manager for the night kept everything on track for me for the night - she was my right hand woman! The food was outstanding, the venue was gorgeous, and they worked well with the other vendors I used. Parking was available for all guests, which was a positive as many of the other venues I looked at required we pay for valet. Only negatives: 1) We ordered wine service during dinner and it was not poured until dessert 2) I wish there was more than 1 bar (as I had 300 guests). They told me there would be two bars, but the second bar was tucked away in the cocktail hour where no one ventured to once we moved to the main atrium area 3) Gail, the head coordinator was tough to communicate with. It was hard to get a hold of her and when I did, she would only answer parts of my questions. Other than those details, people are still commenting on how stunning the venue was. Definitely don't pass up the atrium as a contender on your venue list!

Rich's did a impeccable job catering my 160 person wedding. Steve, the catering manager, is the best person I have ever worked with- and I used to cater weddings for 6 years. The food was incredible and the service was beyond. I can't wait to have another event so that I can employ Rich's again!

Steve and TJ are phenomenal! The wedding day can be extremely stressful for the bride, but I was chill as a cucumber the whole day because of them and Marie at the Rapids Theatre. Steve answered all our calls and emails quickly. He was patient with all my questions and concerns. He had answers and was so reassuring about everything. He also told me, "even if there's a problem, it'lll be fixed and you won't know even know about it." As someone who works in entertainment as well I totally loved that. There are always things that come up no matter how well you plan. On top of it all, Steve and his assistant TJ were so kind and funny. I'd hang out with them anytime! Oh geez I need to talk about food. It was amazing!!!! Everyone raved about the food. My father in law is a former banquet chef for a large company and he loved everything so much he went and thanked the chefs. That should say it all. No one went home hungry. I've been to so many weddings where I stopped at McDonalds on the way home and I can assure you no person stopped at a drive thru on their way home from ours!

I ordered my wedding cake from Dessert Builders and I was very pleased with their work and their prices. I had called around to a few local bakeries and Dessert Builders had the most reasonable prices by far. I went in for a cake testing prior to booking with them and their cake was absolutely delicious! They have a wide variety of flavors and fillings that can accommodate anyone. I had found a picture of a wedding cake that I liked and I provided it to Dessert Builders and they did a great job of replicating it. Overall I was very happy with the service and quality of the work at Dessert Builders and I would definitely recommend them for not only a wedding, but for any cake-worthy occasion! :)

I could not be more pleased with our decision to use Rich's Catering for our big day! The cuisine was gourmet fare. Our guests are still talking about how "wowed" they were with every dish. But Rich's is so much more than just food. They added all the finishing touches for true one-stop shopping. Everything from the chargers on the tables to the pillar and stage draping and lighting was done impeccably. Their attention to detail and eye for the beautiful in combination with The Rapids Theatre's obvious allure and sophistication brought exactly the right feeling of elegance and whimsy. Steve G and his assistant Taylor are your personal day-of coordinators at no additional charge. And they are amazing at what they do! We also appreciated the small touches that meant a lot to us. They made sure that the butlers with the h'or duerves made a point to come to us while we were mingling during cocktail hour, while also making sure we always had our drink of choice in hand during the entire event, even without asking. When my glass was empty, a watchful eye was always seconds away with another glass of my favorite drink. The presentation and elegance of the evening was just enough, without being so much that it felt stuffy and inhibited the guests from having a great time. If I had it to do over, of course I would because it was one of the best days of my life. But I would not change a thing. Rich's Catering and The Rapids Theatre are a match made in wedding heaven. We had an interesting request for our wedding cake & Rich's hit it out of the ballpark! They were able to make us a perfect art deco cake but with the back of it having characters from Toy Story peeking out. I'm not going to lie, I was a little nervous about how the end result was going to be but when I saw it on our big day I almost started crying! The cake was 100% a representation of us and they nailed it on the head! Also, as always Rich's cake quality was spot on. The best wedding cakes I have ever eaten were always Rich's cakes!

Delicious and exactly what we wanted

We used Richs because of multiple reasons. Their prices were great-it turned out to be about 3.50 a person with the delivery and all that. They had lots of options to choose from, and when we went in for the tasting they had baked the options we chose fresh for us. It was delicious, and I do not like cake normally. I even used them for my shower cake because it was so good. They did everything we asked for and I got a TON of compliments on how good the cake was, and how pretty it looked, etc. They got the flowers from my florist and it was designed so beautifully. The only thing that bothered me was the fact that they don't really use email. They always used the phone, and if I emailed I wasn't responded to for a week plus. I work full time during the day and it was difficult for me to make phone calls, but every time I did call, or my husband called, we got a friendly answer immediately. I'm just at the modern technology point that it is easier to use email for little questions.

The cupcakes and cake we received from Dessert Builders were outstanding! We ordered 120 filled cupcakes and a two-tiered summer-berry cake. The cupcakes were red-velvet with cream cheese filling, chocolate with white filling, white with strawberry filling. The cupcake and cake frosting was delicious and was topped in pretty sugar crystals as we ordered. The fondant flowers were beautifully crafted and a lovely touch. Dessert Builders even loaned us (free) the multi-tiered stand. We picked up our items, but they will also deliver if needed. They provides us with free samples! They are easy to work with - especially once you have an idea of what you want, but we didn't, so they happily helped steer us in the right direction!

Our wedding cake was AMAZING... The girls at Dessert Builders took the time to sit with us and let us try all of our options (yum!) and talk about what our cake would look like down to the smallest detail. Our end product was delicious and beautiful and exactly what we had asked for ... Thank you!

We met with Heather for our tasting and it was fantastic. She loves making cakes, and you can tell! We chose the white cake with half chocolate fudge filling and half fresh strawberry. The cake tasted phenomenal! The design was missing the silver embellishments we had discussed, so I was a little disappointed, but no one but us knew they were supposed to be there, so it was okay. Overall great experience with Dessert Builders.

We worked with Heather. She met with us to help us design our cake. We went to her with some ideas. She helped us solidfy our ideas into a beautiful cake. She was very honest, but very polite, when she thought we were going a bit overboard with decorations. She gave her opinions in a very professional way. In the end, her ideas really were the best. The cake was not only beautiful, but also yummy!

My wedding at Rich's Atrium was everything I had ever dreamed of. The place was beautiful, the staff was excellent and the food was to die for. All of our guests had nothing but great things to say! Thank you!

Our wedding night ran smooth because of Jim and Erin. Their customer service was impeccable. They were awesome and took care of everything. The food was excellent. My dream wedding came true!!

The staff and Catering Manager at Rich's did everything they could to make our day perfect! The staff was friendly, helpful, always available and just made everything run smoothly for both the ceremony and the reception. The food was incredibly delicious and the atmosphere perfect!

Rich's was a wonderful place to have my reception. The food was the best I tasted at any other location in town. Many of our guests agreed saying it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding-and even better than many restaurants! We were very well tended to the entire evening. The night ran smoothly and our catering manager interfaced well with our DJ and Photographer to make sure that everything happened as planned. The head waiter even made sure to put snacks in the back 'bridal room' when he noticed we hadn't finished our dinners in case we were hungry later in the evening. I would highly recommend Rich's Atrium and Rich's Catering.

The team at Dessert Builders did a GREAT job on our wedding cake. They were very helpful and prepared the exact cake we wanted. We had a lot of compliments on our cake, it was super moist and melt-in-your-mouth texture.

The woman I dealt with was AMAZING!!! She was extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. My cake came out beautiful and was extremely good!! They are definately affordable and even have coupons floating around artvoice!! Everything about them was perfect!!! I would reccomend them to anyone!!!
