Rick was the perfect DJ for our wedding. We didn't have a wedding planner, so we needed someone to MC the reception and inform the guests of what was coming up. Rick did this with class and perfect timing. He met with us in person and over skype the month before the wedding to map out our reception timeline, and figure out logistical details. He was always available via email, and his online system made it extremely easy to add the songs we wanted to be played. Rick made our reception flow smoothly so that we could just relax and enjoy the party. And he played the perfect mix of songs for a dance party that lasted all night and included guests of all ages. We were initially a little hesitant to book him because of his price, but it was worth every penny!

Rick made planning our reception extremely easy and streamlined. My husband and I both very busy while planning our wedding and could not physically meet with Rick before booking. He was able to skype with us and made us feel very comfortable and confident. He has a lot of experience with wedding receptions and is truly there to make your day how YOU want it. He uses a lot of technology to allow you to plan your day in advance online. While he may appear a bit "quirky" he was exactly what we were looking for: someone to set a nice tone for the reception without being overbearing or in the limelight. His prices are very reasonable, too!

Awesome Dj, really got everyone up and dancing!

We didn't have much of a dance party as planned because of the heat, and ended up paying for a mic at the wedding we couldn't use because we had no power, but we were happy to have music and to work with Rick and our DJ Sam. They did a good job of helping things along at the reception.

Rick Haggard was such a great DJ. He is very prompt and dependable. We had a very simple/basic wedding reception and he was willing to customize it as we wanted. Everyone, including our son who he allowed to assist as DJ, had a blast.

Rick helped us plan our wedding reception timetable and accurately followed the schedule. He played every song we had chosen and kept us in track with time. However, he did not stay any longer than originally planned, leaving us with a room full of guests and no music at 11pm.

Rick and Sam Ranson are terrific. So nice, professional and fun to work with. Definitely recommend!

Rick did a wonderful job emceeing and providing music through out our wedding. Prior to he wedding we had a few e-mail and phone conversations with him to make sure that all our wants and needs were met. He had a few things that allowed our guest to get to know the bridal party a little better and gave us a great introduction during our reception. One of our priorities was to make sure had a good time and he was able to keep everyone dancing throughout the night. I would highly recommend him.

DJ Rick added such memorable touches to our wedding reception - we received numerous compliments on the wonderful musical selections, from the cocktail hour, to the dinner, to the dancing! He made the bridal party entrance super entertaining, and the couples' anniversary dance was a special touch as well!! All of the planning was handled smoothly and professionally, and Rick really went out of the way to make sure our special day was exactly what we wanted - for both the Virginians, and the Texans ;) Thanks for everything Rick, you did an amazing job, and we have such wonderful memories of our special day, much in part to your musical and entertainment talents. :)

DJ Rick was one of our best vendor choices for our recent wedding reception at Prince Michel Vineyard in Culpeper, VA. He is a very personable man and treated us as individuals, not just customers. Rick orchestrated an amazing party at our wedding reception this past August. Not only did he go above and beyond to accomodate our requests, he had our crowd dancing for hours. We had a 4 hour dance party... just what we wanted! People young and old all felt moved to the dance floor and it was magical. We chose a DJ and we got a friend who gave it his all at our wedding reception. Rick, thank you sincerely for putting your heart into what you do!

Rick completely exceeded all our (and our guests) expectations! He was amazing. We stated off with our love story and first dance, which was great. He did such an amazing job on the love story, I got sooooo many compliments, and our guests appreciated us sharing with them how we got together. Just make sure you have somone to move the chairs after the story before you start dancing - my new husband had to do it and it sorta threw the timing off on our first dance, but that was not really Ricks fault. He kept the evening running very smooth and really went with the flow. He was also very personable, not dry like a lot of current DJs, Rick has a great personality and it shows when he is hosting. Kudos!
