Rick Lieder Band

As music people, having a good band for our wedding was CRUCIAL and the Rick Lieder band fulfilled every one of our wedding band dreams. To start, they were incredibly helpful. We had multiple calls with Rick and Dayna to discuss the overall vibe of our wedding, the type of music we were looking for during our reception, and details of our ceremony music. They were always available to answer any questions and help us curate the perfect set list for our wedding, in addition to just being genuinely cool people who were amazing to work with in all capacities. Their song list is extensive and they are able to do every genre expertly. They also went to our venue prior to our wedding day (with our wonderful planner, Beth, from Frond+Feather) to scout out locations for the electrical supply and where to set up. We had a few special requests, including an acoustic version of "Come to Me" by the Goo Goo Dolls for the ceremony and a slowed acoustic version of "Home" by Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zeros for our first dance. Rick learned both songs, especially for our wedding, and they were both incredible and exactly what we wanted. They kept the dancefloor packed and each member of their band was so fun, talented, and high energy. We had so many comments from our guests about how amazing the band was. Cannot recommend them enough!

We LOVED the Rick Lieder Band! From start to finish, they exceeded all expectations. They were incredibly responsive to our inquiries and accommodated our requests. Their flexibility and willingness to tailor their setlist to our preferences really made us feel like our wedding was their top priority. They have an enormous amount of song choices of all genres but were also willing to curate new options to our preferences. They were an absolute hit with all of our guests--whether that be acoustically for the ceremony or more of the "big band" style for the reception. Their energy was infectious, and they had everyone on their feet from the very first song. They got involved with the crowd from the beginning. They knew exactly how to read the room and keep the party going all night long. One of the things that impressed us most was their ability to cater to a wide range of musical tastes. They had something for everyone. Our guests were raving about them for weeks after the wedding. They left the night with 75 new groupies! Beyond their talent, what really stood out was the genuine joy and passion they brought to our celebration. It was clear that they love what they do, and that passion translated into an unforgettable experience for us and all of our guests. They were extremely kind and genuinely excited to be a part of our day. The Rick Lieder Band was so fun and talented, and we can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you for everything!

Rick Lieder Band is awesome! My wife and I hired them for our wedding and everyone loved them. They did an amazing job getting the party going, and they sound amazing. We told them that we loved the saxophone and their sax player went above and beyond! He even wandered off the band platform onto the dance floor while playing- everyone loved it! Dayna was the emcee for our wedding as well and she did an amazing job. Dayna and Rick took the time to meet us at the venue a few days ahead of time, since we had never met before in person. They were very kind and so down to Earth. We really enjoyed getting to know them. Before our big day, we set up multiple phone calls so that they knew more about the kind of music we wanted, and the flow of the reception. We didn't have to suggest any songs though, because everything they played was exactly what we wanted. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The Rick Lieder Band is the best!!! They work with you to create the vibes of your wedding night and make sure no one leaves the dance floor! They have a large variety of music choices to fit anyone’s taste. Rick and Dayna are so organized, professional, and all around wonderful people! They work well with other vendors to ensure everything runs smoothly. We got so many compliments on the band!! They are definitely 10/10! When looking back on our wedding, we will always remember the love, the people, and the music :)

Absolutely outstanding in every aspect. Dayna and Rick are true professionals who can “read” the event and shift on the fly. For a June family wedding they took time to meet a week before the event to get a sense of what the bride, groom and family wanted…we added ceremony accompaniment, a Wedding singer that they coordinated with, late night DJ, and MC services…all of this and the best band we’ve heard. Our measure of success was the fact that the dance floor was full BEFORE dinner, during the cocktail hour, and dancing never stopped until late at night when the band was done. Our guests raved about the music and our friends want to find them in Florida or Michigan so we can all go listen and dance. Extraordinary.

The Rick Leider Band was a hit at our wedding! Leading up to the event they were very responsive and communication was excellent. They were so professional and easy to work with. The music was amazing, the horn player and singers interacted with our guests which made the reception so much more fun! The dance floor was full the entire night. We had a guests say he was a “two song sitter” - only our first dance and the girls only “I feel like a woman”! The band played all genres and sounded great. They kept the energy going all night. Incredible band!! Every song was a gem! Rick and Dayna are such great people with incredible voices and the gift of keeping the party going. The dance floor stayed full of all ages from children to 85 year olds. Everyone loved them and they made my niece’s wedding so special. Book them for your event! You won’t regret it!

Booking this band was the best decision we made and easily our most favorite wedding vendor!! Soooo many of our wedding guests commented on how great our band was. We booked the 4 piece band which included Rick & Dayna, who can seriously sing ANYTHING, Marshall, who sings like an absolute angel, and Neal who KILLS IT on the sax. Did I mention Rick plays guitar with his teeth?! They definitely brought the fun to our reception, just like we knew they would!! They seriously EXCEEDED expectations from day one. Not only are they all SO talented, but they really are just such wonderful, truly good hearted, down to earth people who make you feel like family. We cannot wait until our next opportunity to see The Rick Lieder Band play again ❤️

In a word…Spectacular!!! All the guests were on the dance floor. From the initial meeting until the end of the reception, Dayna kept us posted on every detail. The Rick Lieder Band cares about making your event amazing. It was a night our family and guests will remember!!!

Rick and Dayna made our wedding day extra special with their talent and ability to get everyone on the dance floor throughout the night! We would highly recommend them to anyone! Working with them was a pleasure, as they made everything simple and straightforward. Rick and Dayna went above and beyond by offering additional services beyond what was originally discussed and written in our contract. Dayna was very attentive to detail and even called the day before to ensure she was pronouncing all of the bridal party's names correctly. All of the band members were amazingly talented and very kind and interactive with the guests. All of our guests had raving reviews about the band! We would never consider using another band for any future events! They are not only great performers, but great people who genuinely care about making sure everything is perfect!

The Rick Leider Band is so awesome! They played at our daughters wedding recently and the dance floor was electric. Dayna and Rick are great vocalists and the entire band are extremely talented. The wedding reception would not have been the same without this band, they were organized with the events that took place, the were energetic and engaged with the crowd! I am not one to leave reviews but Rick Lieder Band was SO amazing at our wedding that they deserve it. If I could leave 10 stars I would. They made our wedding. It would not have been as good without them. Their energy, music, talent and everything in between blew us all away. They were fantastic and I would 1000% recommend having them perform at your event. All our guests are raving about the band and everyone had an absolute riot thanks to them. We will definitely be going to see them perform again.

The Rick Lieder band was so incredible and so fun! They made our night something special and we have received SO many compliments about how much fun the band was. The Rick Lieder Band was incredible!! Even that’s an understatement. We booked their 6-piece option for our wedding which included drums, saxophone, guitar, keys, and singers/MC. We are still getting compliments from our guests nearly a month after our wedding! Rick and Dayna were by our side from start to finish in the planning process as far as helping us decide the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, first dances, and reception. They said nothing is off-limits and they were even willing to learn new songs with advanced notice. We told them which ones were must-haves, which were off-limits, and what themes we wanted (i.e. Motown, Country, Pop-Hits, etc.) and they made it perfect! My dad wanted to do a mashup of two songs for our Father/Daughter dance, which they also nailed! Their energy and talent is unmatched and they kept the party going all night long!!! 10/10 would recommend them. We’ve received countless praise in person, but here are a few that we can directly quote from texts: “Matt and I kept saying how great the band was! The best band I have experienced at a wedding” “The live band was amazing and aj will not stop talking about it!” “10 minutes into your reception and just have to say that THIS BAND IS PHENOMENAL 🥳”

Dayna and Rick are amazing we can’t thank them enough for the job they did at our wedding everything was so special and they made it a night to remember. I had the pleasure of working with Rick and Dana Lieder for a wedding at my Resort. They were recommended to the couple who are from Michigan by their neighbor, which lucky for us brought them to the Keys. I was pleasantly surprised by the band on the night of the wedding. They are fantastic, upbeat, and kept the party going. The guests danced all night and had a wonderful time! I would definitely recommend them time and time again if you are looking for a band. They are very flexible and have lots of options for large or small band size. I am definitely looking forward to the next time they are booked for an event with us!

Rick, Dayna, and Marshall played at our wedding in Key Largo and our family and friends still can’t stop talking about how amazing they were. From beautiful ceremony music, to playing the best dancing songs at the reception, and of course Marshall serenading us to “What a Wonderful World”, they gave us a night we will never forget. They accepted a last minute request so I could dance to a childhood favorite song with my dad which is one of my favorite memories of the night. We were so lucky to have the rick lieder band play at our wedding this past November at Dream Bay Resort in Key Largo – they were AMAZING. I will start with how we found the best band ever. We attended a wedding in May of 2021, in Michigan, when we first heard them play. We were so blown away by their performance that we knew we had to have them at our very own wedding in November later that year. We approached them after the wedding and discussed the possibility. We were already in a contract with a DJ, but we knew that hiring them and paying the difference to break our contract with the DJ would be worth it in the long run. I have NO REGRETS. They were phenomenal. It was so easy to work with Dayna. She puts love and patience into everything she does. And Rick?! Talk about a talent! But frankly, all of the members of their band seem to just be more talented than the last! We are a very busy bride/groom duo, and never once did Rick and Dayna lose patience with us. They consistently answered questions from the wedding planner directed to us that were relevant to them so we didn’t ever have to be bothered. They made everything so simple. When something was needed, they came directly and quickly to us – their communication is so helpful when you are organizing and managing an event of this magnitude. And the best part – they are the most talented performers I’ve ever seen in my life! One of my guests said at one point during the night “I feel like we are at a concert right now” and it was so true! The energy that flows from them as they perform is overwhelming and energizing! They get your wedding guests up on the dance floor and keep them partying all night long! Playing a live concert on the beach in open air isn’t easy, but this team does it consistently and beautifully. They also were able to provide us with a steel drummer for our cocktail hour to really set the mood and bring out the keys beach vibes! We feel so grateful to have stumbled on the Rick Lieder Band. Our wedding would not have been the same without them I know this for a fact. It was an absolute pleasure working with them. I would do it again 100x over. Perhaps the best testament to their talent, a few of our guests have asked for their information to now hire them at their events because I tell you, once you see them and hear them, you feel the magic and understand that this band cannot be beat.

I've worked with the Rick Lieder Band twice now and both events were great! Not only can they handle a smooth ceremony prelude but they have the crowd on the dance floor for the entirety of the reception. They can play multiple genre's and handle the sound equipment needed for a successful event. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a band in the South Florida/Florida Keys area!

As a wedding planner I see a lot of entertainers, and I really enjoyed working with Rick & Dayna! They are incredibly professional, knew how to emcee all of the key moments properly and were able to keep the crowd dancing all night!

All I can say is they were amazing!!!! Our guests enjoyed listening to them so much that at the end of the night they were yelling “encore” and some of our guests are even looking for excuses to have parties so that we can have them come again!!! From start to finish the band had so much energy and got everybody up on the dance floor, truly could not have asked for a more enjoyable wedding and we owe a majority of that to them!! Like many, we downsized our wedding and changed our venue and date - Dayna and Rick Lieder were so understanding and accommodating. We ended up having a 6 piece band, opposed to our originally planned 8-piece - and the band was absolutely incredible. We provided some song direction as far as what we liked/didn't like, but Dayna and Rick really knew how to read the dance floor and keep the party goin'! The hits kept coming and the dance floor was non-stop. We had such a great time dancing with our family and friends. Guests are still raving about how much fun they had on the dance floor! Would recommend The Rick Lieder band for any special occasion.

Rick and Dayna were wonderful and so talented. EVERYONE at the reception commented how much fun the band was. Even my 20 year old son asked if they could stay longer. They appeal to all ages. They play and sing a big variety and are willing to learn new songs for you. They remember little details you told them. We were so thrilled to get them for our wedding with all the covid challenges.

My Husband and I are so blessed to have had Rick Lieder Band for the entertainment on our wedding day. Rick and Dayna are such a caring and experienced couple to work with. They sat down with us and were so helpful in suggesting songs and answering questions about the timing and flow of the day, to MC-ing the whole event. Booking The Rick Lieder Band for our wedding was one of the best decisions we have ever made. Our wedding reception was absolutely spectacular, and it was largely due to the presence of the Rick Lieder Band. From the beginning of the night until the very end, their charisma, talent, and energy kept everyone on their feet, out on the dance floor, and having a blast. Never in my life have I had so much fun. They are simply outstanding musicians and singers. They were incredibly accommodating, professional, and easy to work with. The best wedding decision we made was booking the Rick Lieder Band for our wedding day! We met with them over dinner and drinks and we knew right away we booked the right people. They were so kind, fun, and easy to work with. They also were very cool about us changing our first dance song a week before (sorry guys!) but learned it quick and NAILED IT for our wedding day!
