I work passionately to tell love stories that are beautiful, cohesive, and authentic. I enjoy observing the small nuances, tiny gestures, subtle glances that capture raw emotion and romantic moments.
Yet, I am not just another guy with a camera. I study and master modern photography techniques so that my clients are guaranteed polished and sophisticated images that they are proud to hang on their walls for the world to see!

Above and beyond doesn't even begin to describe Ricke's contribution to our wedding. We contracted with Ricke as our wedding photographer before COVID hit. Once it started looking ...
like we couldn't have the wedding we planned, Ricke let us know he could be flexible with us, and would do everything he could to make our day special -- and did he ever!
Even though we didn't have a formal contract in place anymore, Ricke still came to our wedding, brought a second photographer, and spent 4+ hours shooting us getting ready, our ceremony, and and some special moments behind the scenes in between. We were floored by his dedication to us, even though there wasn't a binding document to make him so.
He was so easy to work with and just generally pleasant to be around. I never felt like Ricke was stealing the show or front and center, and our family said they barely even saw him at the ceremony. He returned our photos quickly, and let us see a few snaps in the days immediately following the wedding so we could get a sneak peek.
He was also very COVID-conscious, which was important to us -- he and his second photographer always had their masks on and kept a distance from us.
And, of course, if you're reading this you've probably already seen some of his photos, so it goes without saying that our pictures are *beautiful*. The way he uses light is incredible, and he has some brilliant ideas of how to use it that never would have occurred to us.
I couldn't recommend Ricke enough. Pandemic or not, he is absolutely a 5-star photographer. Thank you for everything, Ricke!

He captured each and every moment perfectly on my wedding day- for example, when I was walking down the aisle, he was able to simultaneously get pictures of me and my father as well as pictures of my husband's reaction to seeing me walk in. I don't have words to describe the beauty of the photos and how Ricke was able to capture the emotion of each moment. I was speechless when I saw them. I've received countless compliments on the pictures already too. I am also awkward in front of a camera, but Ricke knew just what to do and where to pose us for these breathtaking photographs. My husband and I (and our families) will certainly treasure them forever. Thank you, Ricke!

g the pre-wedding and wedding, Ricke was wonderful and easy to deal with, accommodating all of our last minute changes with no complaint. Trust me when I say that flexibility in your vendors is going to be a definite MUST! Despite our best efforts, and my husband and I both used to be wedding caterers, things will change. We were grateful that we would always rely on Ricke to make the appropriate adjustments.
What is exceptional about Ricke was that he was able to create a very comfortable environment for us. My husband and I are not really picture folks, to the extent that after 18 years of being together, we hardly have any photos of ourselves. However, Ricke managed to capture those special moments without over stressing us.
What was the sweetest gesture was that Ricke stayed longer than we had agreed upon so that he could capture all the amazing moments that our guests had. All in all, Ricke was an amazing photographer to work with and I will certainly be calling him next time we need a photographer for any reason!!!

g. He was great at capturing our best angles and had an eye for finding places that would give us a beautiful setting. Ricke was able to give gentle guidance for how we should pose for some shots (We’re not models after all!) What I really liked were his creative ideas for capturing the moment - like a way for simulating rain falling (without getting us wet!) and getting drone footage of the wedding day! Nowadays almost everything has been done by a wedding photographer, but he had some genuinely unique ideas. On the Wedding Day he remembered the specific shots of family we had requested, which was a load off of my mind! Throughout the process for both days he was incredibly responsive and clear on the scope of work, pricing, etc. and we got our photos back to us faster than we had expected. It took me weeks to decide which photos were my favorites, but we loved all of them and now have several stunning photos frames to remind us of the happiest day of our lives!
