Unfortunately, due to weather, we did not have music or microphones at the ceremony (which ended up being completely fine) and Rick was apologetic and felt bad, even though it wasn't his fault at all. They kept the night moving and kept us on track with what we needed to do. I cannot recommend them enough.

Rick was very kind and informative. The last call right before the wedding, when we reviewed the timeline for the day, was so helpful. Rick was our DJ on the day of our wedding, and it went smoothly- one little blip with the photobooth date being wrong on the first few printouts, but they noticed it and fixed it for the rest, and within our scrapbook. A huge thank you for running the mics, ceremony, dinner, dancing music, and the photobooth. It was one of the best days of our lives!!

but the ones that are bad I could not agree with or relate to more. Hiring Rick was one of the biggest mistakes we made during our wedding planning. What should have been a straightforward vendor relationship turned into multiple long-winded, unproductive phone calls — most of which consisted of Rick talking about himself, or in circles, instead of helping us plan anything meaningful for our day. A few months after we signed a contract with him, we received a voicemail from Rick asking if we would like to change our contract and pay our remaining balance early, and it was clear he didn’t have enough money to follow through on the original agreement, and needed “new equipment.” This “discount” he offered was really just him asking us to accommodate his financial issues. In the end, Rick provided zero services for our wedding. No music, no setup, no attendance, barely any planning — nothing. Yet we’re still being denied a refund. We paid our deposit for him to talk at us for almost 2 hours each planning call we had, and then when confronting him or his staff about poor communication, or odd things such as the “discount,” got a LIST of excuses from him or his assistant, Jody, who is unprofessional with her long, spelling error filled text messages and emails and is honestly just as big of a gaslighter as Rick himself. If you’re looking for professionalism, reliability, or even basic business ethics, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. We have been so impressed with our new DJ and wish it could’ve been this easy and professional with Rick’s company, but unfortunately it is hard to communicate with a business owner who is set in their ways and can not take criticism from their clients.

r, brings so much genuine care and positive energy to every interaction. He walks you through every step, has an answer for every question, and takes the time to really get to know you. They also have a super user-friendly platform that helps you customize your soundtrack to a tee and plan for every variable you could think of. On the big day, we were lucky enough to get DJ Cyrus. He was unbelievable! We got so many compliments about how great our DJ was. He has an impeccable ability to “read the room” and keep the whole crowd dancing for hours on end. Beyond that, he was a great emcee that not only got the crowd riled up, but helped coordinate the schedule and people throughout the night to keep everything running smooth. The timing, choreography, and mic coordination was totally seamless. The ceremony soundtrack was of course executed perfectly as well. A major highlight of the night for our guests was the photobooth, which was shockingly cheap to add on. They provide an awesome attendant, lots of props, and great souvenirs for guests (plus you get digital copies of all pictures which were so fun to look at) Rickochet Entertainment is a slam dunk for your wedding DJ services—especially if it’s at the Wellshire.

dding in July. The DJ did not show up to my wedding, claiming to have missed a flight due to a “technical issue”—an excuse that felt highly unconvincing. Despite their assurances, they did not arrange a replacement DJ, leaving me without a DJ, MC, speakers, etc. for my entire wedding day. To make matters worse, the company promised to refund me in full for their failure. It’s been four months, and despite countless follow-ups from me, they have only refunded $100—a far cry from the full amount I’m owed. They said I was the most prepared bride they have seen as I put in hours of effort from planning the timeline, exact DJ script for each event and transition, multiple playlists, etc. All they had to do was show up, and they failed. What should have been one of the happiest days of my life was the most stressful day of my life. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment—look elsewhere for a reliable DJ service.

Our dance floor was packed for 3 straight hours. They mixed all different genres, and didn't play the whole song at times. They kept the flow going, and their mixing was flawless. ires, some companies never responded, others wanted 1+ hour calls to ask questions (literally a phone call version of the questionnaire which didn’t really make sense), some companies had us speaking with a different person each time we sent an email. A non-negotiable to us was knowing our actual DJ. All the companies we reached out to (minus Rickochet) had multiple DJs with no guarantee of who we’d get for our wedding day. We filled out the info form on Rickochet’s webpage and were contacted within an hour. Most of that initial discussion was around topics outside of the info form. Rick himself is the DJ and all communications came from him directly. We loved that. He had such good energy, was professional but also kind and easy to talk with. We had a handful of calls leading up to our wedding and Rick was always so helpful, letting us know areas we didn’t need to worry about and that we could just give him basic info and he would take charge (as a bride planning my own wedding this was a huge weight off!). He has a portal that was easy to use and navigate where we filled out all our details. The day of the wedding, Rick was the vendor to check in with us the most. And we say that in the best way! He would check how we were doing, let us know what was next up (like if it was time for speeches) and if we were ready for him to move our guests that way or if we wanted a few minutes- and if we asked for a few minutes, he’d still come back after those few minutes and check back in if we were ready before moving along. That was so thoughtful and shows that he really cares for his couples. We also had their photo booth at our wedding and it was such a hit! I feel terrible as I cannot remember the attendant’s name who ran the photo booth but she was magnificent! We’re trying not to make this review too too long (😊)but there’s many things we loved and appreciated about Rick. You can tell through his behavior, communications, dedication and attention to couples and the details that Rick takes pride in his work, loves what he does and the couples he works with. If we had to go back and do it all again we would definitely hire Rick.

He claimed to be “covering” for his DJ when really it’s his company and he has to professionalism!! The DJ who came later was absolutely incredible!! Wish I knew more about his company and would have hired him from the start!!!
