nning our wedding without knowing what the venue would be like! Knowing that our family and good friends put so much effort and hard work into the venue in order to have it done by our wedding day made it extra special to us. A year later and the end result is absolutely breathtaking... Every single one of our guests commented on how gorgeous our venue was! Although there have already been some very cute country-themed weddings there, my husband and I decided to go with a more classic/southern theme, and our big day turned out STUNNING. I never would have pictured myself getting married in a big red barn...and now I wouldn't have it any other way! Rick's Place perfectly blended our love for classic elegance with a touch of rustic. It also rained HEAVILY the week of our wedding so we had to move the ceremony indoors. It was no problem at all, because their large stone fireplace doubled as the most gorgeous backdrop to get married in front of. Even with around 220 guests, there was plenty of room and all we had to do was rearrange a few tables and chairs to make it work! I would also like to add that Rick's Place is the perfect venue for not only weddings, but for any event. It is well worth a visit! I may be a little biased, but the owners (my in-laws) are amazing to work with, down-to-earth, and will make sure you and your guests have a great time!
