Ricky Restiano Photography

photo later I felt like I didn’t want to stop taking the pictures. They make you feel beyond comfortable, and move so EFFICIENT that you don’t even realize what you’re doing. You are having fun in the moment, snapping pics away and they are so authentically beautiful. They truly capture the honest moments so effortlessly and with so much detail and precision you have no idea what’s happening you’re just flowing with them. They are truly an incredible team. Everything was so natural and candid. They have a vision and truly take your pictures to another level. We’re so blessed to have had them a part of our wedding. Thank you so much. We truly are so grateful. Seriously every moment was epic. We love you guys!!! Seriously look no further !!

ey came out so amazing!! Would highly recommend Ricky to any brides in the area!

t. Even got some sneak peaks that night on social media. We can’t wait to see everything! Dana at the office was so helpful with the timeline and making the planning part seamless. Would refer them to anyone and everyone! Thank you to the entire team from the bottom of our hearts ♥️ Jessica and Matt Carpentieri

ot our wedding on 9/9/2023. He goes out of his way to get the incredible shots. He’s professional and fun and so down to earth. He’s very easy going and his assistant Debbie is also so amazing. They both went above and beyond. Anthony even helped put my veil on and Debbie helped Tanner with his tuxedo studs. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer!

e accommodations due to rain on my wedding day to ensure I got the absolute best pictures. I can’t say enough great things about them. Anthony and Chris had such vibrant and outgoing personalities which also helped calm my nerves on my wedding day. Anthony suggested such unique ideas for pictures and his creativeness and talent blew me away. They are the best of the best.

so comfortable around him and truly we just laughed together the entire day. Chris was calm, cool and collected while also keeping the energy up which allowed his to get some incredible photos. We are so in love with all our photos the we got back. He got every shot we wanted and more. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer. Our friends and family loved him too! Highly recommend hiring Chris for your wedding, you won't be disappointed!!

e with his style of photographs but also his personality! Chris goes above and beyond to get the perfect shot. He made the day super fun and both my husband and I were comfortable shooting with him. The other members of the team, Jake and Daniela were also fantastic ! Definitely hire Chris! You won't regret it!

expertise made by years in the business. They have worked at most, if not all, the wedding venues in the tri-state area and know the best spots for that perfect photo. Even if it is an unfamiliar venue for him, Ricky's creative eye just knows how to find the right location for that truly one-of-a-kind picture. He will scale buildings, shove himself in a cramped space, climb onto elevated, unsteady surfaces in order to fulfill his vision. You end up with the most incredible photos that will capture all of the best moments of your day. We are so happy we went with Ricky and are so fortunate to have these beautiful photos to commemorate the best day of our lives. Thank you Ricky, Chris, and Tommy for our photos and to Dana for her swift communication and help with our album!

ur love and wedding day. We love his artistic eye, and thorough understanding of the wedding industry. It’s such a bonus to have a photographer who knows how to navigate the commotion that a wedding day can pull you into, and instead keep the flow of the schedule—and keep you focused and smiling all day long. We also loved how he learned us quickly, and how to get natural, love-filled shots out of us, as well as power-couple-kind-of-shots. He sent over some “pre-teasers” and we are dying over them.

ted us every time. No judgement, no saying no, no anger - just YES every step of the way. Dana even helped me figure out a timeline that would work since we needed to do a run through of the ceremony which impacted when to start with photographs. I was so overwhelmed at that point that when she was able to email me something a timeline that worked I was so thankful. She was essentially my wedding planner in that moment! I was beyond thankful. Dana answered in a timely manner no matter what. By the end I felt like I knew her I had communicated with her so often! By the time our 4/2/22 wedding it had been almost FOUR years since my husband and I had initially met with Ricky and decided to book him. Rewind to 2018 - we decided to book with Ricky for his attitude and kind demeanor - the beautiful photography skills were a bonus!! What I did not realize is just how much time you'll be with the photographer. If you don't love taking pictures this can feel daunting and I think it is insanely important to be with someone who can get the job done but whose actually nice. An added bonus is that when you book the package for Ricky to be your photographer - he really does show up!! It's not the case with everyone and I think this is critical and should be noted. Ricky and Chris made me feel confident and made my husband feel happy to take pictures (this is NOT easy.) They both also listened to me when I said it was important for my husband and I to go to the cocktail hour - after 2 years of postponements we wanted to join our guests and have some fun. They were quick to agree but they also made a point to pull us aside after the ceremony to get some shots with the sun setting behind us. Again - they got the job done but had our happiness and goals in mind. They both made small talk with us as we were taking pictures and lightened up what was otherwise a naturally stressful day. Without even seeing the proofs yet I would recommend them to anyone. The experience with them was the best part though I am sure I'll be even happier when I see the final product. Hire them for your wedding!! You won't regret it.

any friends, former coworkers & other acquaintances have used them for their big day and I was always stunned by the beautiful, amazing, unique photos that they create. Dana Villanova is the contact point at the studio and she’s extremely responsive and communicative throughout the booking process, answering any other questions you may have about their packages and coordinating your day of timeline. She made it easy and seamless to reschedule when my event in 2020 was postponed due to COVID, and even held a date for me in case I still wanted to do an engagement/elopement shoot that same original weekend (which I didn’t end up taking advantage of because, the pandemic - but I was thankful to know I had that option just in case). I had a phone consultation with Chris Perino, one of the lead photographers, and let him know more about my event and the vibe I had in mind for the day of. When it came time to finally meet in person, it was like we’d known each other for years (which it turns out, we kind of did as we learned we both went to the same summer camp). Him and his lighting assistant Eddie were so fun and professional and made me and my husband feel super relaxed throughout our pre-reception photo shoots. They also blended in seamlessly when it came time for dinner and dancing. I made a “must get” shot list and Chris was more than willing to accommodate those suggestions. He also has a great eye for finding amazing shots and light, especially in a venue as unique as the Bronx Zoo. They say a picture’s worth a thousand words, and I think these photos certainly speak volumes! I am simply blown away by how spectacular the photos look and these memories are going to last me a lifetime. I would recommend them for any life event that you want captured in beautiful detail.

pandemic we had a couple of postponed dates. Dana worked with us on all of the changes and was so patient and accommodating given the circumstances. Her prompt responses and guidance was always appreciated. We had Anthony and Cyndi for our wedding day. They did an amazing job. Anthony is fantastic, our families loved his energy and creativity. We love our wedding photos and will cherish them forever. Thank you Ricky & Anthony!!

ing to take any photos we wanted. The photos were gorgeous. I would HIGHLY recommend them!!! 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

. After our engagement shoot with Ricky, I had no doubt that our wedding pictures would be amazing. On our wedding day, Ricky and Anthony were just so awesome. You spend more time with your photographers the day of your wedding than anyone else so having personable, fun photographers around is almost as important as their competence and creativity but luckily with Ricky and Anthony- you get the best of both worlds! I am so thrilled with how my pictures turned out and I am so thankful to Ricky, Anthony and the team. I have so many amazing pictures to look back at and relive the night. I’m so lucky that all the emotions and excitement of the day were captured perfectly. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

did our wedding and Ronnie was his assistant. They were both so fun and easy to be around and made my husband and me feel so comfortable. They are beyond talented, creative, and artistic. Our photos look AMAZING. They are truly stunning and captured the day and my relationship with my husband perfectly. We are so grateful to Anthony and Ronnie for capturing the magic of our special day. Dana, the office manager at Ricky’s, has also been a true pleasure to work with. I’ve only communicated with her via email and then a phone call I think once, but I feel like I know her because we have emailed so often and she is awesome. She is so helpful and kind. I cannot recommend them all highly enough.

ng Ricky Restiano photography for your event.

my teasers and my day of experience I can tell you Anthony&Vinny KILLED IT! My husband and I have a tendency to put on cheesy smiles when told to take a photo but with Anthony and Vinny there isn’t ever 1 cheesy smile because you’re genuinely laughing and smiling with them the entire day! Anthony was at my house before church and he made the morning so fun, we joked all morning and throughout the night . It was like having a lifelong friend following you with a camera all day long! Our families and friends enjoyed them as well , several requesting Anthony for their upcoming weddings ! Anthony has such a creative eye we just trust him completely he says jump and we literally will say, how high? They are also VERY organized and efficient. Being married in July I was praying my bridal party weren’t going to need to stand around while my husband and I took photos and that wasn’t the case at all. They hung out in the bus and Anthony called them when needed. Also, we enjoyed taking the pictures - enjoyed each pose because working with this team is just pure fun! We are DYING to see more photos but we know they killed it! Book with Ricky and his team, these are memories of a lifetime you want them captured by this talent! Don’t worry Anthony- this isn’t the last of the Troia’s for you :)

e were lucky enough to have Anthony Petrozza of Ricky Restiano Photography take our photographs! My best friend had her photographs done by Anthony in October of 2017 and the day was pretty terrible, not your typical fall day. Anthony never hesitated for a second, brought us to the train station and to say her pictures are anything less than stunning would be an understatement. Now skip ahead to December 31, 2018 and there is no snow but hours and hours of rain. Anthony once again pulled through. Working with our videographer we headed to the mall parking garage - sounds terrifying, but our photographs turned out to be everything we could have ever wanted. There were traditional photos set on the river behind the mall (who knew....), with perfectly created lighting, and then there were your glamorous shot set under fashion bulbs and finally non-traditional shots featuring a fully concrete black wall. I have frequented this mall hundreds of times in my life and never once did I notice any of these backdrops. That’s just want Anthony does - he always finds a way to capture your day in every possible way and creates photographs with true feeling behind them. I also need to mention he is awesome just as a human in general. Anthony fun to the point that you forget you are working with a vendor - his energy and his team’s energy is unmatched. That can also be said of the whole team at Ricky Restiano, Dana in particular worked with me from beginning to end and there was a never a moment that she wasn’t completely kind, patient, or accommodating. We are about to choose our photos and I am sure our album will be just as amazing as our day was captured thanks to the entire Ricky Restiano family.

hotos which were incredible and we knew from that moment that our wedding photos would be even better. We were right. The studio is organized and very helpful. Highly recommend Ricky + the crew for your big day!

g photos came out absolutely breath taking. Anthony is so creative and loves what he does so it was truly amazing to watch him work. His photos are beyond stunning and unique. Anthony and Chris kept us super relaxed and laughing the entire day. My husband and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else!

t comes from this team is simply perfection! Ricky first did our engagement photos which came out picture perfect! We were then so lucky to have both Ricky and Ronnie capture our special day. We received their top edited picks within days after the wedding. To say that these pictures were amazing is an understatement. The pictures looked absolutely beautiful and as if they came out of a bridal magazine. The amount of compliments and remarks that we have received from this photos is overwhelming. I cannot stop looking at them! When looking for photography, do not even hesitate when wanting to book Ricky Restiano. He will do anything he can to make sure your pictures look different and better than the rest. He is the BEST of the BEST!!

t! Looking at his pictures, I knew we made the right pick. As a stressed out bride, Chris definitely made my day relaxed and stress free. As I looked through the Facebook album of our wedding, I just remember how much fun I had taking pictures. I couldn’t believe all the beautiful shots that he got! I was looking through them over and over again because of how amazing they were. Chris has such a fun and outgoing personality that even had all my bridesmaids were saying the same thing. The best part was when we were on the dance floor and he handed my new husband his camera and began breakdancing! All the guests were loving it! I wish I had another event coming up because I know I would pick him again 100 percent!

h our second shooter Vita, achieved that for us. They went ABOVE and BEYOND our expectations! We have never met a more kind and patient man. We were so impressed with how polite he was to the entire wedding party, and our family. His unique style and creative eye, along with his vision for our day truly was captured in our wedding photos! From our ASTOUNDING First Look at Untermeyer Gardens, to the amazing photos at The Surf Club, Anthony and his team captured moments my husband and I look at in amazement. Upon receiving our photos to view for the first time, we watched together as Anthony created a romantic story of our day, one for us to always remember! My husband and I are forever grateful to Anthony and his team and would highly recommend him!!!

more beautiful. Chris did a great job at capturing who we are as a couple. From start to finish, they were easy to work with. You will not be disappointed if you book them. My guests and family are still raving about how awesome my wedding photographer was!

hotos so feeling comfortable in front of the camera was very important to us. Ricky not only made us feel relaxed but somehow look regal, sexy, glamorous, casual, crazy, happy, excited, and in love all in one roll of film. There are so many different backdrops and locations in our photos that you never get bored looking through them. Ricky is truly an artist and his photos portray that. I cannot thank him enough for the amazing photos he took!

t I wanted Ricky Restiano to be my wedding photographer for a long time now. I knew I needed to book him before anything else! My husband I got married on September 9th, almost a month ago and I have been trying to find the right words to say in this review. Today, an album of pictures were posted for us to see and I nearly cried at how BEAUTIFUL they are. After our engagement shoot with Ricky last summer, I was even more excited for our wedding because I knew I would have amazing pictures to remember our special day. From the moment John and I sat down in Ricky's studio and read the Biggie quote on the wall, we were totally relaxed and ready to sign! When the day came and Ricky showed up early at my house, you better believe me and my girls were ready to go, and so was he. He made everything so easy and incredibly fun. Him and my videographer (also incredible) got along so well which made for such an incredible experience. Ricky made me feel like the most perfect bride and I loved every second of working with him. Let's not forget Francesca! Francesca started at John's house with him and the boys. When I finally got to meet her at church, I was thrilled! She was so sweet and I could tell how much she respected Ricky and his craft. She was so sweet and easy to work with and had a lot of ideas for some incredible shots. To say that I am happy with my decision to book Ricky Restiano Photography for my wedding day is a complete understatement. I am beyond thrilled, over the moon, lucky, excited and proud to have met and worked with such talented, caring and brilliant photographers. Thank you, thank you a million times over and I cannot wait to see all of the pictures from our amazing wedding day!

ething extraordinary. After the initial booking, my only job was "to practice my serious sexy Tyra Banks face". When I informed my wonderful photographers to be that I was more of an awkward Lena Dunham they assured me they could work with that. The photos of and entire process the day of our wedding were pure magic! My husband and family felt so at ease with Ricky and Chris that despite a language barrier they brought out the best expressions in all of us. My entire bridal party commented how cool these guys were. They don't just do the traditional stuff most wedding photographers do, they are artists. The photos of your day deserve to be amazing after all the work you put in before walking down the aisle. If you want amazing, breath taking pictures (some so incredible you can't even believe they are you) you wish and pray for Ricky Restiano photographers to capture that day, one of the most important days of your lives! They will not disappoint. You will realize they were worth every penny.

amazing to me, my family, my bridal party. Funny guys, you can tell they absolutley love what they do. I wish I can relive my wedding day all over again! Thank you Ricky & Chris!!

tures they produce is like no other. They are creative and distinct shots. I was lucky enough to find "the one" , and from the minute we began planning our wedding there was no discussion as to who our photographer of choice would be. We were so lucky that we were able to have Ricky as our photographer for both our engagement shoot and wedding day. All I can say is that Ricky and all of his staff are a pleasure to deal with and were fun to be around on the big day. Their photos are so unique and have a dimension you don't see with other photographers. They, the people and the photos really are exceptional. I am thrilled we were lucky enough to have them capture our special day. Thanks so much to Ricky and his staff! You will not be disappointed using Ricky Restiano Photography for your event. They really are the best.

ver and over again. I had to plan my wedding from Texas and I was married in New York but from the first phone call and talking with Ricky to working with Dana and Nicole to make sure that everything was going to go as planned I knew I had made the right choice. I had Anthony as my wedding day photographer and WOW. We had never met but from the moment he walked in he made myself, my family, my bridal party and most importantly my groom feel comfortable. He is HILARIOUS and his work is just incredible. Our wedding teaser was published on their facebook page and our families could not stop talking about how out of this world they were. If you are looking for a wedding photographer who is going to make you laugh, keep you calm, and really capture your personality you MUST go with Anthony from Ricky Restiano Photography - you wont be disappointed!

going wrong .. I had comfort in knowing our pictures would not be one of them. A review is just random words from a stranger you don't know.. And you may still be hesitant about booking. But for me If I convince one person to book with him it will be worth it. I cannot begin to express the immense gratitude I have for Ricky and his team. Nicole helped me bustle my dress, fix my centerpieces and ran around in 90 degree heat back and forth to make sure each shot was perfect. Chris was dancing on the dance floor capturing every moment and was so much fun to work with. Ricky has artistic vision and drive like no one else I have ever met, I don't think I saw him sit down the whole night. Thank you for everything!!

remains are your photos- so make it a priority in your budget. Right from the first meeting we felt comfortable with Ricky and were excited to work with him and his team. We had Ricky, Chris and Holly Jo – all professional, innovative, creative and most of all FUN! They captured our wedding day perfect and made the day run so smoothly. They were flexible in capturing the 'must have' shots we wanted, as well as, being adventurous to get that perfect shot.

stunning! Ricky, Chris and Ronnie captured the vision of my wedding day in the most perfect way! Ricky has such a unique and creative style with a fun personality. I would recommend Ricky and his crew 100%!

. I couldn't have asked for a better crew to capture the most amazing memories of my life. Thank you Ricky and the crew!

the shot. I can't wait to see my wedding pictures, but I'm sure they came out great.

rom the very start of the day getting ready to the end of the party. The shots they took for us are so incredibly unique, creative and EXACTLY what we were looking for --not to mention they were a ton of fun, super nice and the entire company was professional, on top of it and accommodating throughout the entire process. Seriously --look no further, you've found your photographers :)

tive and made our wedding day go so smoothly. I can't wait to pick up the proofs and make my album. Best decision I ever made, picking Ricky Restiano, especially Anthony as my photographer. Ricky Restiano's team knows what their doing! I will absolutely recommend them to future brides!

irst hand. The only "problem" I have is narrowing down what pictures to put in my album because they are all FANTASTIC! Not your cookie cutter photographer whatsoever and you can tell they take great pride in their work. Great personality, amazing photographer. Many different options for packages. I picked up my proofs less than a month after the wedding, and I relived the emotion of the day...because they captured it in every picture. I have seen his work and knew I would not be disappointed, and he exceeded those high expectations. In my opinion, photographers and videographers are two areas of your budget where you don't cut corners. His work speaks for itself. Reach out to Ricky and his crew, you will not be disappointed!!!

d artistic which is exactly what I wanted. They all have such great vision.

. Several years later I am incredibly fortunate to have had Anthony, Chris, Eddie, and Vita helping photograph our engagement and wedding. This was by far one of our bigger "splurges" but no one else's work can compare to theirs. It was the one thing I would not settle on and I could not be happier. Each member of the team is incredibly talented and gifted with such incredible vision. Not only that but they are each completely professional yet entertaining as well! They are a pleasure to spend the entire day with. First we need to note how amazingly helpful Christina is! She helped me plan every photographic detail and did not seem to be annoyed by my very confused "bridal brain". Her patience and helpfulness was without a doubt one of the highlights of working with the company. We got to know Anthony and Vita while shooting our engagement photos and then met the rest of the team the day of the wedding. We would especially like to thank them for putting up with our very long day and distance they had to travel! We appreciate it so much and are so grateful! They were all so easy to work with and helped capture exactly what we wanted and even more....without making us do ridiculous stunts and poses! Lastly, the designers are just as talented as the rest of the team. They helped us create albums and other print products with such creative vision. Their talent and the print quality made everything even more worth it! My husband and I are so thankful to have been able use their services and could not be happier with the quality of work and their wonderful personalities.

ok. They are very professional, on time, will help you plan out where to take your pictures, everything you need. They really do all the thinking for you. Our pictures came out amazing and I definitely think they are the best in the area , take a look and see for yourself.
